05/10/2014. Daily News from the HYIP Industry

0

Hi everyone! I hope you’ve all had a nice weekend. It’s been pretty quiet for news stories for the last couple of days, and what little I do have to report isn’t exactly 100% positive either I’m afraid, but hopefully that can be offset by the introduction of a new program to the MNO monitor’s Premium List called GESGroup. I’ll have a brief chat about that in a moment and will take a more detailed look at it for you after I’ve had time to check it out for myself tomorrow. Otherwise in the news for today I have to warn you completely away from CryptoArbs which is now a scam, advise discretion but definitely not panic in HashPrime, and look at the results from the last opinion polls that ran on the MNO TalkBack page. I’ll also have a new question for you to think over. So let’s get started then, shall we?

GESGROUP INTRODUCTION

The latest addition to the Premium List on MNO as of yesterday is a program called GESGroup. The program has been running for over three weeks now which was more than enough for the very first members to see profits on its 7.6% to 8.2% for 15 days plan. As the initial investment is included in the daily profits in GESGroup and is not returned on expiry, you see that a moderate pure profit of 14% to 23% on your investment within the 15 calendar days can be sustained for quite a long time. So maybe GESGroup is just starting a successful journey and the admin made the right decision to highlight his program on the most popular resource for elite and high quality HYIPs which is MNO. GESGroup is running off a licensed H-Script, popular these days among a growing number of admins and the payouts to PerfectMoney, EgoPay, and Payeer are processed instantly, while BitCoin and Qiwi payouts are done manually within 24 hours. My first withdrawals to PerfectMoney were already processed instantly, so you can see GESGroup already on Paying status on the MNO monitor with a full review coming tomorrow. The minimum to invest in GESGroup is $10 so it’s quite affordable for even smaller investors. Note that STP was briefly accepted manually but the admin has made the correct decision and dropped this option. GESGroup site is properly SSL secured by Comodo and hosted on a dedicated server with the support and protection of DDoSGuard. The site is bilingual and has both Russian and English versions. Russian is clearly the stronger of the two. GESGroup stands for Global Energy Solutions Group and the company is allegedly incorporated in Belize while investing in alternative sources of energy. Of course, it should be treated like any other HYIP with all its advantages and pitfalls, but I hope that the admin intends to work for a long time. Judging by the nice layout, preparation and taking into consideration even such small details as the five year domain registration, it might be just be true.

CRYPTOARBS – PROVEN SCAM! DO NOT INVEST!

Just hours after the last post was published on the MNO blog last Friday I noticed there were no withdrawals from CryptoArbs paid on that day. I checked the online forums too and my guess was right because no one got paid on Friday. I immediately contacted the admin and although he explicitly said in the previous emails to allow 36 hours to process all the withdrawals, not paying anyone within the preceding 24 hours still seemed a bit suspicious to me. The admin, of course, didn’t reply so I had to move CryptoArbs to Waiting status on the MNO monitor. As so often happens my site was the first to report the problem, though some readers confronted me and said that I was too hasty and might inadvertently destroy the program. For the benefit of anyone who shares this belief, I remind you I merely report on problems after they happen, not before. I firmly believe I did the right thing and that the admin of CryptoArbs had scammed already with a very slim chance remaining of resuming withdrawals. The program was moved to Problem status on my monitor next morning with the scam status having been assigned not long after that. I can only imagine what caused the collapse of CryptoArbs after just 17 days online, but if we speculate I’d say a lot of it came from rumors about the admin running another program, namely CryptoAssets. Personally I myself don’t believe this simply because CryptoAssets (reviewed here) accepts SolidTrustPay and is verified by them, something CryptoArbs never intended. But then some people started spreading these wrong assumptions on monitors and forums and I even saw one thread opened on a particular monitor for the sole intention of destroying CryptoArbs. Well, who ever wanted it got their wish because it eventually happened. Maybe it was too much for competing admins and they took the opportunity to play on the damaging rumors and encourage investors withdraw from CryptoArbs prematurely. Anyway, the only person that is fully responsible for stopping the payouts is, of course, the admin of CryptoArbs himself. Currently the website is still online accepting new deposits, but please do not invest there because withdrawals have stopped.

HASHPRIME – DEPOSITS NOT RETURNED, FURTHER INVESTMENTS NOT RECOMMENDED

Another program where further investments are not recommended, not for the moment anyway, is HashPrime (reviewed here). Although the program still remains on Paying status on my monitor the admin herself is doing everything possible to keep members from investing and her latest actions made me think that the program might be in trouble. Although the 1.5% daily payments are still getting paid just fine some members yesterday said when they tried to withdraw deposits they suddenly discovered their lock-in period had been extended for five extra days without any prior warning. One of my referrals in HashPrime even complained that he tried to make a deposit withdrawal, but every time the request was cancelled and the withdrawal moved back to balance. It’s very obvious to me that having high hopes for HashPrime which is one of the very few programs in the industry accepting STP now many investors decided to jump ship at the first opportunity and made principal withdrawal requests as soon as the ten day original lock-in period expired. With the reserves of the program getting drained the admin decided to act in order to extend the lifetime of HashPrime, as 10 days online was obviously not what she originally planned for her program. So the decision was made to extend the lock-in period to 15-days with a further option to make it even 20 days. The reason given for this was the falling BitCoin rate which lost about 30% in value for the last couple of days and is now trading at just under the $300 mark. However many investors rightly noticed that this was not what they agreed to when originally joining HashPrime and so genuinely believed that HashPrime should have been moved to Problem status on the MNO monitor for that. While completely understanding this viewpoint and not believing a single word from the admin about BitCoin price fluctuations being to blame, I still think it would be unfair to move HashPrime to Problem status as the daily payouts are still processed regularly. Taking into consideration the admin’s desire to save HashPrime by suspending principal withdrawals for the next 5 to 10 days and given the fact that the very first deposits were returned on Friday, I have made up my mind to leave the program to Paying status for the next few days. Although that doesn’t mean that I don’t see the issue and it doesn’t mean that I recommend making new deposits. But even if the real reason for not returning the original deposits in HashPrime is really price drop of BitCoin, where is the guarantee that the exchange rate will recover in 5 to 10 days instead of spiralling ever downward? Consider this outcome too while reading the latest update posted on the HashPrime official blog:

Bitcoin Price Drop 03/10
Hello, due to big BTC price drop we have changed principal return from 10 to 15 days, this is just a temporary solution. Principal return can be maximally changed to 20 days and after price gets back all will be set back to 10 days. This is off course good news to our BTC/USD traders in system, a lot of them profiting right now. Stay tuned
.”

MNO TALKBACK – RESULTS AND NEW POLL ADDED

And finally to finish up for the weekend I guess it’s time to look at the results of the last opinion polls that were on the MNO TalkBack page. They’ve been there long enough now I think for anyone who wanted to vote to get a pretty good chance to do so, and I don’t think the results are going to change significantly by leaving them up any longer. The first question then was suggested by one reader who told me he liked the idea of a certain program he was in not having any sort of pretense or imaginary stories about being involved with any sort of real business. I mean it’s easy to see why the more experienced players (as most MNO readers are I think) tire easily of hearing about ForEx and stock market deals when they already know full well that all online HYIPs are just ponzi based money games, and as such a form of gambling. But why do so few HYIP admins readily admit to this? And is there any real advantage to the program if the admin tries to maintain an image of running an actual company when so many people know it isn’t true? I suppose there’s always going to be a certain fringe of members, usually those coming to the HYIP industry for the first time who believe the websites they find on HYIP related blogs, forums and monitors are genuine investment opportunities. (Not on MNO however as I do try to make it as clear as possible that I consider HYIPs as a form of gambling). The first question asked of readers then was:
Are you more inclined to invest in a program that admits to being a game or a gamble?

I have to say the results were surprisingly close, with the majority of readers, 54% to be exact, taking the first option of:
Yes, I like when the admins are open about what they are doing. More people will realize how it all works and invest only what they can afford to lose.

The remaining votes, 46%, were from readers who see a much more practical necessity for HYIP admins keeping up a certain facade, allure even, of big business and investments. They voted:
No, I believe HYIPs need a background story to encourage bigger spenders which will keep the program alive for longer and allow more people to earn a profit.

So it seems maybe there’s a case to be made for honesty not being the best policy after all, not that we see a great deal of it from HYIP admins at the best of times! The second question was placed after what was a somewhat mixed couple of weeks in the industry. In very quick succession we saw several new programs, all of which had simply massive potential to become seriously big hits, close one after the other almost as quick as they started. The reasons were varied, truth be told we’ll never really know the full stories there anyway, but it makes no difference to the end result for the investors – disappointment. So I asked what program had you the highest personal hopes from, but found it to be the biggest let-down? Regrettably there was no shortage of choice for this poll, and the exact question went as follows:
What was the biggest personal disappointment for you during September?

The results in order were:
Binimal 41%
SentinelsX 23%
PiNeverEnds 18%
Anancias 9%
Arriels 9%

Under the circumstances I hope you’ll excuse me if I don’t do any analysis of those figures, as they basically all just add up to the same thing anyway – HYIPs that promised much but failed to deliver.

Staying on a topical “right now” kind of question, I want to know what readers think about the current situation with HashPrime. And please, you don’t necessarily have to be a member there to voice an opinion, so everyone is free to vote. In a nutshell, the situation is this – HashPrime had a minimum lock-in period of ten days for all new members. OK, so people joined with the reasonable expectation that they could ask for their money back anytime after that time. Then, for whatever reason, the admin decided to increase this lock-in period by at least another five and possibly even ten days. However this rule wasn’t simply applied to new investors, it was forced on existing members who joined under the original terms and conditions without prior warning. Perhaps you think there’s a cash flow problem, perhaps you believe the admin’s story that the value of their funds held in BitCoin took too much of a knock, it doesn’t matter. I’m not asking you what you think the reason is, I’m asking if you genuinely believe the admin will resume the deposit withdrawals when promised.

The exact question is:
Do you believe HashPrime will recover and start returning members principals?

And the possible answers are:
Yes, the admin is honest did the right thing to save the program.
No, this will end badly and end soon.
Maybe, but if it happens it’s a coincidence and not because the admin is honest.

Thanks in advance for voting, and I guess I’ll probably leave this particular poll open until the time the HashPrime admin has said that principals will again be available for withdrawal. That will pretty much tell us who was right and wrong in their predictions! Obviously we all hope the program is back on track by then, but is that what you really believe? Voting only takes a second and is completely anonymous, so I hope you’ll all take a moment to share your opinion on the MNO TalkBack page here.
