Beware! WhyNot has stopped paying! Do not invest there!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Bula Vinaka everyone! Which means hello as they say here in Fiji where I will be spending the next week after leaving New Zealand. There’s a couple of things to catch up on in tonight’s news, including a brand new program I’ll be introducing in the second half of this post, but for the most part I want to concentrate on a program called WhyNot<\/a>. This is a newly added program to the MNO monitor<\/a>‘s Premium List<\/a>, though maybe not entirely a brand new program in the strictest sense. It depends I suppose on how you define \u201cnew\u201d, because WhyNot<\/a> has been online for about a month now but offers \u201cperpetual\u201d style no expiry plans. No one has made a profit from them just yet, but let’s see what they have to offer and if you think they are worth adding to your portfolios.

\nCurrently there are two investment plans available in WhyNot<\/a>, with a third in the pipeline for bigger spending players to be introduced at an unspecified date in the future. As far as most us need to be concerned however, you only need a $10 minimum to get started with WhyNot<\/a> straight away. Anything up to a $999 maximum will see you placed in their Standard Plan<\/strong><\/em>, which has no expiry date. That means that from the day you join WhyNot<\/a> they will pay you 3% interest back on your principal for as long as the program survives<\/strong>. There is no early release clause of any kind, so once you make a deposit WhyNot<\/a> will be keeping your principal and not returning it, so the only payments from them will be interest only.<\/p>\n

There isn’t really any strategy as such coming into play here after that. The only thing you need to think about is how much money you think is a reasonable risk to take before reaching the break-even point, which in the case of WhyNot<\/a> is 34 calendar days. To give you a simple example then in monetary terms, were you to invest $100 in the program WhyNot<\/a> start paying your back $3 every day. It therefore takes you 34 days to get your money back, after which everything else you get is a passive net income. Without the option to ask for your money back at any point after joining, you just need to decide how much money you are prepared to risk between the day you join and the day you break-even.<\/p>\n

The second investment plan in WhyNot<\/a> works along the same lines. It’s called the Premium Plan<\/strong> <\/em>and offers indefinite \u201cperpetual\u201d style interest payments, except this time the difference is that the rate increases as the minimum cost of joining goes up too. Investments open with a $1,000 minimum deposit, and continue to $9,999. For the bigger deposit WhyNot<\/a> are offering you a daily return of 3.3%<\/strong> this time, continuing for as long as the program remains online<\/strong>. The break-even point for an investment here comes after 31 days (not that much faster than the first option) but will eventually bring you better profits. Without the option of ever getting an early principal withdrawal due to WhyNot<\/a> deeming it to be already counted with the interest payments, once again it comes down to a simple question of how much money you think it’s safe to risk while waiting for the break-even point.<\/p>\n

WhyNot<\/a> have a third plan lined up, though as it isn’t currently active at the time of writing so I won’t give it too much attention at this point. Actually the only reason I even mention it at all is because it’s intended to be different from the others, offering a lower interest payment, made indefinitely, but compensate for the reduced rate by allowing investors to ask for their principal back anytime. See your WhyNot<\/a> members area for more details if interested, but as of now there’s nothing to indicate when the admin intends to activate this plan. As it happens the opening deposit starts at a $10,000 minimum anyway so most of you are not going to be looking out of much more than just curiosity value there anyway.<\/p>\n

If anything there appeals to you enough to join, then the next thing you would probably want to hear about is what are your payment options. Not exactly sweeping and comprehensive, but still very much in keeping with the current trends in the HYIP industry WhyNot<\/a> are using PerfectMoney, Payeer, and AdvCash<\/strong> for anyone still favoring the more traditional style payment processors, and BitCoin<\/strong> if you are one of the many HYIP investors migrating to a more modern digital e-currency. Even better news is that withdrawal requests for the most part seem to be processed instantly<\/strong>. You will still need to log in to your WhyNot<\/a> private members account area on a daily basis, submit your request, and unless there are external issues beyond the admin’s control with the payment processor themselves you should have the money in under a minute.<\/p>\n

Looking into the more technical side of the WhyNot<\/a> website now, it features quite a quirky design which is unique and not quite like anything I remember seeing recently. The whole thing seems to be based around presenting a virtual PowerPoint presentation in the background, but nevertheless is still very original and always good if you\u2019re trying to establish a more unique trademark. Navigation is easy enough to figure out too, as the site is running off a licensed H-Script which is very well liked among experienced HYIP players even if not very common at the moment. If I was to make one minor complaint it’s that the italic fonts might be difficult to read for non English speakers so some of you might need some time to adjust. Generally speaking though WhyNot<\/a> is not a bad website in security terms either with an SSL certificate from Comodo for safer browsing and more secure transactions. For a hosting provider the WhyNot<\/a> admin has placed his website on a DDoS protected and dedicated server by OVH. Not the most common name in the HYIP industry by any means, but they’ve hosted enough in the past that you can research them and see how their record stands up. To make the WhyNot<\/a> website more attractive to a wider more diverse and international audience the readers can switch between the default English language version, and seven others including Russian, German, Chinese, Turkish, Vietnamese, and Korean. Actually it’s quite interesting to see how the future development of the program has already been mapped out by the admin. Click on the section marked “Achievements and Goals” to see as more and more money is deposited, what the admin’s intended improvements are as the funds grow. There’s also a barometer style marker telling you how much money has been invested so far, where this puts the admins plans at this particular point in time, and how much more needs to be spent before the next round of improvements are made.<\/p>\n

Any further questions for the WhyNot<\/a> admin? Then you have a couple of ways to contact him with any further enquiries or account related issues. To start with you can fill in your details in the online customer support form and submit it through the contacts page. That (probably) drops into the same inbox if you write directly to the WhyNot<\/a> admin’s email address which is included there too. WhyNot<\/a> are also one of the growing number of HYI programs making some use of the Telegram messaging system. Some make more detailed use of this for operational purposes, others like WhyNot<\/a> just use it for chat and communication. The program also provides a regional representatives scheme, where regular WhyNot<\/a> investors act on support and promotion in return for improved ref commission rates. You can find the list, and perhaps someone in your local area who speaks the same first language as you, on the WhyNot<\/a> website.<\/p>\n

If you are interested in what WhyNot<\/a> are claiming as their alleged business interests, i.e. what are they doing with your money to make more money, all it says is a very vague statement about being \u201ctraders\u201d. Trading in what exactly isn’t that clear, but nevertheless we are informed they are \u201cprofessionals and experts<\/em>\u201d in whatever it is they are doing. The usual HYIP-speak in other words that experienced industry players will know to ignore by now anyway. So don’t treat WhyNot<\/a> like something it isn’t and keep your expectations from them realistic. Set a sensible spending limit you can comfortably afford to lose if things don’t work out and easily earn back from other income sources, and if joining WhyNot<\/a> then try and keep them as a smaller part of a wider more diverse portfolio.<\/p>\n
