BEWARE! THIS PROGRAM HAS STOPPED PAYING! PLEASE DON’T INVEST!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hi guys! After the subject of last night’s review I think the program I want to to look at today is quite possibly the furthest thing away! Nothing to do with clean fresh water this time, it’s all to do with gas and oil. That’s why the program is called GasAndOilInvestment<\/a>! Of course that’s just the name. I doubt there is any real involvement in the oil business, as there is no real explanation given about it anywhere on the site. In fact it could have as much to do with pumping the stuff at your local Texaco filling station as it does with drilling for it in the oil fields of Saudi Arabia for all the information that’s offered.
\n\"\"<\/a>
\nBut anyway, what’s in a name? It’s of little real importance to the issue at hand here which is online HYIPs, and GasAndOilInvestment<\/a> is one of the latest. It’s a short term HYIP this time offering high rates of interest. Unfeasibly high in some cases, but we’ll get to that in due course. There are five plans in total, all of which pay out on expiry only. But for a selection of plans that are all essentially simple, straight forward and uncomplicated, there’s an almost mind-boggling 26 different variations contained within! I’ll try and make it as easy as possible, but please bear with me here because if you go to the GasAndOilInvestment<\/a> site these plans are only fleetingly described on the home page. You will have to become a fully signed up member (though it’s not compulsory to deposit) before you can get a fuller more detailed explanation.<\/p>\n

So to start with there is a one day plan. Very simply put, if you join on Monday you’ll get paid on Tuesday. Join on Tuesday and get paid on Wednesday. Get the idea? It couldn’t be easier. The amount you earn in that one day will depend on the size of your deposit. The minimum deposit is $10 and from that to $150 will earn you a payment of 104% after one day, including you principal. The maximum deposit is $70,000, which will get you the full 122% payment. I imagine that’s out of the question for just about any sane person, but for the full list of options you can check the member’s area.<\/p>\n

Next up is a 5 day plan. Again it pays on expiry. The minimum cost of joining is again $10 and deposits between that and $500 will earn you 122% of your principal, which is included, upon maturity. The maximum payout GasAndOilInvestment<\/a> makes from this plan is 188% but in order to qualify for that we are again talking about several thousand dollars. So best to consult your member’s area if you are serious about risking that kind of money.<\/p>\n

The third plan runs for 10 days. And $10 is still the minimum you can invest. Deposits up to $500 will be paid 140% interest, principal included, on expiry. Larger deposits will again attract larger payments however it will once again require more money than it’s advisable to spend in order to get the really big payouts. For the record you could get 300% but it’s going to cost you several thousand dollars to find out if that offer is good.<\/p>\n

The fourth of the five plans offered runs for 18 days. It’s a lot more of a risk and it brings a lot more of a reward. But if you’re sticking to sensible and affordable numbers then it doesn’t have to be more expensive, so in that sense it’s not too bad an option. Minimum investment is still $10 so it doesn’t have to cost the Earth and who knows? For the price of a cinema ticket it might even be entertaining. Deposits up to $500 will get you a return of 200%. That’s your money doubled. He maximum possible return from this plan is 400%, but again the cost of testing that offer is prohibitive.<\/p>\n

The fifth and final plan from GasAndOilInvestment<\/a> runs for 25 days. With a minimum spend of $150 it’s probably not for everyone. A quick look at their statistics for active investors against total deposits would put the average spend at just under $90 at the moment. Anyway, if you like a gamble then anything from that minimum up to $250 will get you 400%. From $251 up to $500 will get you 450%. The maximum interest rate available is 500% paid on expiry and available to all who deposit $501 and more.<\/p>\n

Which is highly unusual don’t you think? I mean the most dangerous plan with the highest reward should be so much more affordable than plans that pay so much less. It would appear that the admin is deliberately trying to coax as many people as possible into the 25 day plan and have you wait as long as possible for your payout. I wonder why?<\/p>\n

Anyway, don’t let me put ideas in your head. It’s your money so draw your own conclusions. The choice of payment processors is extremely limited. Just LibertyReserve<\/a> and PerfectMoney<\/a> are accepted and I’d be pretty sure that’s how it’s going to stay. On one hand that will obviously hold the program back, but on the other hand the admin of GasAndOilInvestment<\/a> has compensated for the lack of choice by offering instant payouts. Always one of my favorite features whenever I come across it, this function will make sure that when you request your payment it will appear in your e-currency account faster than the time it takes you to log in and check it.<\/p>\n

The security of GasAndOilInvestment<\/a> is of an acceptable standard though could be improved on. They are hosted on a dedicated Staminus server which is great and the hosting provider is DdoSWiz who are also very reputable. And the script is licensed from GoldCoders with a link provided so you can verify the authenticity of ot yourself. SSL encryption would have been a major boost though. As for the design, well to be perfectly honest it’s more than a bit thin when it comes to any kind of serious information about the program. In fact one thing I really didn’t like was how badly the plans were explained. You have to sign up and become a member before you get a proper description and that simply will not help to attract new members. When it comes to short term HYIPs things have to move fast, admins have to be active, and you simply have to grab the one chance you are going to get (if you even get one chance) to capture people’s attention. So in that sense the design is a bit sloppy, despite being very easy to navigate.
\nCustomer support is available by submitting a ticket via the ticket submission form. There is also an online translation tool so you can read (a very rough) translation of the home page in your own native language, thought the accounts area is only available through English.<\/p>\n

I suppose the main thing GasAndOilInvestment<\/a> has going for it is the timing. January has traditionally been a good month for short term HYIPs with a lot of new money coming back into the industry after that less popular tradition of the December slump. Making the longest term plan so much more affordable than the shorter term ones is bound to raise a few doubts about the long term intentions of the admin unfortunately, but you know you should never lose sight of the fact that such online HYIPs are really a bit like lotteries. Except I’d have to rate your chances of winning a few bucks for yourself here as a lot better than that. There is no real mention made to any sort of outside business and investment activity so I guess it doesn’t exist. The admin hasn’t said otherwise anyway.<\/p>\n

The FAQ page makes the somewhat dubious, if not downright irresponsible statement \u201cYou cannot lose money. We 100% guarantee you profit.\u201d In all honesty, I suspect this is the admin talking to himself! Because it most certainly does not apply to you. Treat this one like a game, sort of like the silly season for short term HYIPs, keep it reasonable and you might also probably want to stick with the shorter term options until we see where this is going. Do that and GasAndOilInvestment<\/a> might be a bit of fun.<\/p>\n

OTHER NEWS FOR TODAY.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As I was expecting earlier the admin of GoldNuggetInvest<\/a> which is currently on Waiting Status on the MNO monitoring page<\/a> sent out another update which is actually an extension to the very detailed newsletter talking about GNI<\/a>‘s upcoming restructuring plan due to be carried out over the next few weeks (please read the whole newsletter here<\/a>). So there were some questions that arose in the GNI<\/a> private forum, some of which Robert, the admin, tried to answer in today’s newsletter. Some topics touched on in this update include:
\n– the necessity of becoming a member of the GNI<\/a> private forum for every member to receive all forwarded info on a first-hand basis (you can register your account on this link<\/a>).
\n– the serious attitude to the security of your internal GNI<\/a> account with checking the most recent IP logs, regular changing of passwords, etc.
\n– the non-participation of GNI<\/a> in Forex trading which is quite a different kettle of fish from sport arbitrage betting.
\n– the non-upgrading members to the Premium plan at this particular stage of the program’s development.
\n– setting of the plan cycle length to 30 calendar days regardless of the month.
\n– the delayed privatization process that is definitely not currently an option during these turbulent times for GNI<\/a>.
\nBelow is the newsletter that will hopefully shed some light on the many questions you might have after reading the previous newsletter from Robert:

\nAs we expected, there have been some questions that need to be answered and some clarification to some decisions and procedures that may otherwise need an explanation.
\nBefore doing so, it may shock some of you to know that, as of 8:00 am on January 18th (GMT), of the 10,000 or so active customers, only 2886 have signed up and are members of our private forum. About 25%+\u2026
\n1. <\/strong>We cannot emphasize the importance of ALL participants in GNI, sign up and, when seeking out information related to GNI, use the forum as a point of reference and information!
\n2.<\/strong> Built into the script and available to ALL members is a security log. This security log contains every IP from which your account has been accessed. We need EVERY member to go into their security log and review the IPs listed (by clicking on the IP). For those who are not familiar with an “IP”, it is your Internet Protocol Address and is a identified by a 4 numeric characters off set by periods after each one. Looks something like this: 68.3.243.11
\nWhen you click on your IP, it will open a new browser page showing the exact location, date and time of the person who accessed your GNI<\/a> account.
\nIt is entirely possible you may have three or four different IPs, but they should all reflect your own physical, geographic location. If it does not, your account was accessed by a hacker or someone other than yourself and your GNI, along with any other critical account information (or other data) has likely been accessed by, or exposed to someone who is likely not looking out for your best interest.
\nYou need to contact your computer manufacturer or other expert and take the necessary steps to secure your computer. This includes changing passwords WEEKLY, backing up your data etc. Don’t expose yourself or others to hackers.
\nThe activities you undertake to prevent or mitigate hacking of your computer will be taken into consideration if something adverse happens to your GNI<\/a> account. We have the capability to review your account access activity so please take the requisite steps to ensure your accounts integrity.
\n3. Forex Trading:<\/strong> Because of some of the verbiage relating GNI<\/a>s current financial health to the positions held in the forex market, some of you have questions \/ concerns whether GNI<\/a> is or has become active in Forex Trading.
\nWe are NOT, in any way, engaged in Forex trading as a source of income for GNI<\/a> customers. Of late, 75% of our arbs are traded in GBP, 20% in Euros and only 5% in USD. As a result we are constantly exchanging funds from one currency to another and by default, are affected by the exchange rate. Again….we are NOT a Forex based investment scheme.
\n4. Upgrading of Account Status:<\/strong> Some of you feel you have wrongfully been denied entry into the Premium Plan; have been saving with the intent of introducing all of your funds into the Premium Plan or something along those lines.
\nAs much as we value our customers (and we most sincerely do!), our current focus is to restore our Project to solid financial health. Some of you had your pending withdrawals reversed back into your wallet for re-deposit, some of you had your deposit(s) remanded to the monthly plan right before your deposits would have, collectively, qualified for the Premium Plan or some other non-elected sacrifice you have had to make. We weren’t looking to win any popularity contests by taking these steps, we are looking forward to getting this matter behind us as SOON as reasonably possible. To do this, sacrifices were inevitable. Some were compelled to make more than others and for that we appreciate what you are doing. In the long haul, we will all benefit from these sacrifices.
\n5. Length of Plan Cycle:<\/strong> While the plan(s), monthly and premium are on a monthly cycle, the specific length of this cycle is exactly thirty (30) calendar days. This will not affect the dates that GNI<\/a> enables the dates to request withdrawals (the 1st – 7th of each month) nor the dates in which payment will be made (the 8th until the end of the month).
\n6. Going Private:<\/strong> The issue \/ question of GNI<\/a> privatizing has surfaced for legitimate reasons, we had envisioned the project needing this status during the first quarter of this now, current year, 2010. Given our current state of affairs; the exodus of customers preceding the holiday time frame and the decreased revenue coming into GNI<\/a> at the present moment, the benefit(s) of doing so does not justify the resources (time and expense) to follow this through to completion, AT THE PRESENT TIME. To be sure, GNI<\/a> has a considerable amount of funds in preparation to going private, all of which will be set back for a future date and time.
\nBe looking forward to these as we progress through the most challenging times of our program.

GoldenFleeceFund<\/a> (reviewed here<\/a>) told members of their investments in gold mines and bragged that it was a success and paying huge dividends already. However I received a couple of comments from some MNOI readers saying that they were not very pleased with the decision of GoldenFleeceFund<\/a> to drop AlertPay<\/a> recently and forcing them to request refunds by themselves. In my opinion, GoldenFleeceFund<\/a> should have taken more care about their existing customers most of which will never redeposit into the program again because of this shoddy treatment. I’m sure there could be a more appropriate solution found for AlertPay<\/a> customers which will now have to wait for 15 to 30 business days until their money is refunded. Somehow nobody thinks that this money could generate profit during this time as well. Anyway, I will leave it for the admin of GoldenFleeceFund<\/a> to consider and maybe improve their service in the future and avoid such inconvenience for their members. Unfortunately I have to move ZenithInvestment<\/strong> to Problem status. In fact a number of monitoring sites have already done so. I would not say that the program was a total failure as it lasted for about two months but of course it was still not enough time for the members of ZenithInvestment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
