Hello everyone! Well it’s finally time to say my goodbyes to Ireland where I’ve have had a most enjoyable vacation this last couple of weeks and I know I’ll miss the Guinness and the good food. I’m looking forward to a long weekend in Berlin for the next few days before going home. Anyway, there’s still time for business and one program in particular I wanted to tell you about. I know most of the regular blog readers will also be looking in on my monitoring site as well, so perhaps you’ve noticed a program listed there since late February by the name of Opulentia<\/a>. It’s a long term HYIP that had previously been included on the Basic List there, however after a decent enough performance the admin has decided to upgrade to the Premium List I want to take a closer look at the details behind Opulentia<\/a>, including their investment plans, this evening.
\n\"\"<\/a>
\nSo to start with Opulentia<\/a> have two investment plans for you to think about, and I think unusually for an online HYIP these days the minimum cost of joining is a bargain basement $1. The first plan runs for 365 calendar days<\/strong> (a year) and will give you a daily interest payment on your principal. Just note that payments will only be made from Monday through Friday with no earnings on the weekend. The rate is 2.15%\u00a0per business day<\/strong>. At the end of the cycle Opulentia<\/a> should then return your initial principal. There is no upper limit to what you may deposit, and the same standard interest rate will apply no matter how much or how little you spend.<\/p>\n

So what does that mean in practical terms? We’ll say for instance that you invest $100 in this daily plan. In return you can expect to earn $2.15 per business day. Five payments per week would allow you a return of $10.75 over the course of a seven day period and \u201cbreak even\u201d (by which I mean reach the point at which you can’t possibly lose money no matter what happens next) after you receive 47 payments, or just over nine weeks. On completion of the plan you should have accumulated a total profit of $559 and then have your original deposit returned. It’s also worth noting that despite running for a full calendar year, this plan puts you into profit after a relatively short period. 9 weeks out of 52 is a pretty short wait in anyone’s book before collecting a pure passive income so keep that in mind if you feel the investment term is a little bit long for you.<\/p>\n

Opulentia<\/a>‘s second plan is actually a little longer than the last one. Instead of daily interest payments they now offer weekly ones for a term of 55 weeks<\/strong>. You may still join for the minimum $1 deposit with no upper limit placed on how much you can spend. The interest rate paid on all deposits regardless of their size is 11% per week<\/strong>. At the end of the term Opulentia<\/a> then return your principal.<\/p>\n

You can see plainly enough that over the course of a week this plan is only very marginally more profitable that the first option, so it has little to recommend it beyond maybe the convenience of not needing to log in and withdraw so often. With a longer wait between payouts it’s also a riskier plan, though considering it runs for over a year I wouldn’t overstate the extra risk either.<\/p>\n

But anyway, to make a practical comparison between the two plans we could expect a $100 deposit made here to bring in $11 per week, get you to the point where you can’t possibly lose money after 10 weeks (remarkably good concerning the 55 week term) and see you finish with a final profit of $605. The original hundred then gets handed back. So that’s less than fifty bucks separating the two plans which is nice if it’s already in your pocket but over the course of a year really quite negligible.<\/p>\n

A couple of other things you will need to know about joining Opulentia<\/a> include first of all the payment methods. They have an OK selection in terms of variety, but one thing they’re missing is a verified option. Then again, you could say the same for most longer term HYIPs. Your choice is currently between GlobalDigitalPay, LibertyReserve, and PerfectMoney<\/strong>. Payouts are made manually so will need to be requested. Once done the admin requires you allow him up to 24 hours to get everything done.<\/p>\n

There is no option to withdraw your principal and leave Opulentia<\/a> before the end of the investment term, but then considering how quick you’re going to be in profit I don’t think it’s really a service they need to be offering. One other thing is that compounding is also available in both plans so if unlike myself you’re a fan of the practice then it’s there for you if you want it.<\/p>\n

Opulentia<\/a> is running off a licensed GoldCoders script ant the website is properly SSL secured. From within your members area you also have the option of setting a sensitivity level on detecting when your account is accessed from different IP addresses or web browsers. They are hosted on a dedicated server by BlackLotus with their highest level of DDoS protection so that should make them pretty stable too. In fact I don’t think I remember any problems worth mentioning with Opulentia<\/a> in the forty-something days I’ve been monitoring them. If you have any need to contact the program then customer support is made available through the online e-mail ticketing form that you can fill out and submit.<\/p>\n

Opulentia<\/a> describe themselves as a \u201cprivate investment program with purpose to provide our members with interesting investment opportunities<\/em>\u201d, a claim I’ve seen worded exactly like that on several other online HYIPs. Though other texts are original I think that’s enough to indicate the real nature of their business, which is a lot closer to the world of online HYIPs than the stock and ForEx markets they allude to on other sections of the Opulentia<\/a> website. So as ever go into this with your eyes open, consider the risks before you join and not after, spend responsibly, and try to diversify.<\/p>\n

DAILY NEWS FROM THE INDUSTRY.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Not a whole lot of news to report on today guys, but it may well indicate that the HYIP industry is coming to its senses after the seemingly devastating effect of the LR downtime recently. It looks like admins have a lot less to say these days as LibertyReserve functions perfectly well now. So I have received only a couple of real updates today, one of which was sent from the admin of OrientProfit<\/a> which has been monitored on MNO for two full weeks. The main point of the newsletter is the success of OrientProfit<\/a> which is apparently popular among investors especially now that the first withdrawals on expiry on 120% after 12 days plan have been received so many members enjoyed their first profits. The second plan can be joined by those who prefer stable daily returns for the long run as OrientProfit<\/a> will pay 2.5% during 120 calendar days with the principal returned on expiry. Depending on the chosen plan the minimum to invest is either $10 or $50 and you can join via AlertPay, LibertyReserve or PerfectMoney. The admin of MidasGoldFund<\/a> Warren (interviewed here<\/a>) issued another press-release today which commented on the huge growth the program experienced lately with already over 2,700 active investors. I might believe those stats if they counted all the members of the program, but only active members must hold at least a $10 minimum deposit via AlertPay, LibertyReserve or PerfectMoney to 1.7%-2.7% for 30 calendar days with principal returned on expiry. In my opinion the stats shown are slightly inflated, especially considering that the HYIP industry is not what it used to be. Moreover I just checked their phone number which is supposed to be for customer support and sending text messages, but I was told the number was invalid and therefore cannot be contacted. I don’t know if it’s a simple error or a deliberate attempt to confuse members but I hope the newly added phone number on which you’re supposed to reach MidasGoldFund<\/a> representatives starts working soon because as of today it does nothing. Meanwhile it should either be corrected or removed.
\nAnother topic for discussion in this press release by MidasGoldFund<\/a> was the success in trading in gold bullion and the introduction of a paper contract system for those willing to invest over $25K in the program which is supposed to be sent by regular mail. In my honest opinion, any written contract with an HYIP is something fancy enough but usually not having any real value. Less that the paper it’s written on in fact. Even such good programs like MidasGoldFund<\/a> paying perfectly well over two months already will end sooner or later and any written contracts will not save you a cent. Please note that all HYIPs are risky ventures and you can win and lose in any of them, so approach them all with caution and only invest what you can afford to lose, be it $25 or $25K.
