07/11/09. FXFManagement Review and Other News

Hi everyone! It hardly seems like a week since I was last telling you I hope your weekend was going well, but if you missed it last week then I still hope your weekend is going well! And if not, well there was a couple of interesting stories in the HYIP related news today which news I hope will help change that. More about all of that in a moment though, as first I want to talk to you about a new short term program I joined just yesterday called FXFManagement.

Another short term program you say? Well the fact of the matter is that it continues to be short term programs that dominate the list of new programs out there and that seems to be what most people seem to want. So who am I to argue? And although I would have mixed feelings about FXFManagement (and I’ll get to that too) I would still expect it to run for a couple of cycles.

The problem (if you want to call it that) arises when we take a look at the plans. Not that there is anything wrong as such with either of them when we look at them as individual options. Let me explain them first and then we will see. There are two investment plans available from FXFManagement and the first one runs for 5 days. If you invest here you will receive one single payment on expiry of 125% of your initial deposit. The minimum amount to invest is $5 and the maximum is $5,000. So it’s quite a simple deduction then to work out that if we were to invest $100 here we would get $125 back 5 days later. Pretty simple, eh?

The other plan is open to deposits of $10 and upwards. All the way up to $10,000 this time in fact. It runs for a term of 15 days and you will receive one single payout on expiry which will also include your principal. The return will be 150%, so you can see that by investing $100 here you can get back $150 on expiry. And that’s where my problem with the plans arises. Not that there is anything wrong with either of them individually of course, other than a complete lack of long term sustainability but then that’s a common trait to just about every short term program I can name. No, the problem lies in the simple mathematics of the whole thing.

The second plan carries a substantially bigger risk, but on a day by day pro-rata basis it brings you a substantially smaller reward. For instance if you invest in it just once for 15 days you will earn a profit of 50%. But if you invest 3 times in the first plan of 5 days you will earn 75%, receive three payments, and still only participate for a duration of 15 days. So I think the plans have not been properly thought out. They certainly weren’t drawn up by an accountant I’d hire for myself anyway, or any description of financial or economic planner.

Anyway, once we get that out of the way the accepted payment options by FXFManagement include AlertPay, LibertyReserve, PerfectMoney, and StrictPay. A good selection for an HYIP of this standard. Payments are not automatic so you are going to have to request them, and upon doing so you are asked to allow anything up to 48 hours for them to be processed. Though it’s probably reasonable to expect them a bit faster at this stage.

Another problem I would have with FXFManagement is the security. But I wouldn’t make as big a deal about that as usual. It’s hosted on a shared server from LiquidWeb and that is never a good sign. In this case however it’s sharing with another HYIP with a similar sounding name that offers similar plans. Now let me be very clear that I am not explicitly stating here that both programs are from the same admin. I don’t know anything about that but I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a connection. At least the similarities are there for all to see and that much cannot be denied. But this other program (OK, I’ll name it: FXCapitalInvestment) has been running for 50 trouble free days and that is a fantastic achievement for a short term HYIP. If the admin of FXFManagement (no matter who he really is) can emulate that then kudos to him. And if it turned out that there was a connection, well I for one would probably turn a blind eye. And judging by the mostly positive feedback then so would many others. Apart from that they run off a script licensed from GoldCoders.

Customer support comes via an online e-mail ticket support system. There is also a Live Chat function though I myself was unable to use it. But it should involve Yahoo Instant Messenger. There is also a telephone number with a Montreal area code in Canada. The number also yielded no results for me, but considering that I’m writing this on a Saturday evening I won’t make too big a deal from it. Anybody who cares can feel free to try it for themselves come Monday. Let me know if you get a satisfactory response. The home page also displays what appears to be some kind of certificate of incorporation but as you can’t open it and can’t expand it it remains completely illegible. Not that I take them awfully seriously anyway but this one in particular I can only assume is there for cosmetic purposes and to lend an air of authenticity. But if you can’t read it then you have no choice but to ignore it.

Needles to say with problems in elementary level maths I very much doubt that the cover story of ForEx trading (the Holy Grail of every HYIP on the net, lol!) has any connection with reality. Nevertheless I would be prepared to stick my neck out here and take a gamble (and only a gamble!) that FXFManagement could very well run for a few cycles so if you’d also like to share that gamble then I suggest you do so early.

Other news for today.

Somebody reported to me that the sign-up link for GoldNuggetInvest is not available today and there was suggestions even that GNI might have gone private already. Well, it was just a rumor and the sign-up is open for everybody now and you can sign-up and login to your account and make a deposit or a withdrawal. Everything seems to be working fine in the new script and even the SSL-security that was disabled for testing purposes today is working now too. So you can finally enjoy all the new features of the new GNI script and familiarize yourself with it. I hope you have remembered your secondary password which the system asked you to set up on the first login to the new script. It will be necessary for making any changes in your account including requesting a withdrawal so please make sure you keep it in a safe place and don’t lose it, ok? All the accounts should be back to normal by now and all the outstanding payouts have been processed even though today is Saturday. Probably it was done to compensate for the inconvenience caused to the members by the missing payouts in the old script and transferring the site to the new script which then became really urgent. I am going to describe all the new features in an updated review of GoldNuggetInvest (read the older version here) so it will be easier for you to use all the features properly. Today I would like to name just one of them which I particularly liked. It’s a feature that allows you to convert your e-currency to any other one with 4% fees. Note that it’s made instantly and you can request your cashout to another payment processor straight away. So to do that go to “Currency Manager” tab in the Main menu and choose the e-currency you would like to make an exchange to and from (note that this includes also the bank wire option). Your fees will be deducted automatically during the process and after entering your secondary password and clicking “Convert Currency” button you’re done. It’s that simple! I think I will cover more features of the new script over time before the revised review is published so stay tuned for that as it’s definitely a new and improved era for GoldNuggetInvest starting with the introduction of this new script!

The admin of PTVPartner just informed me that his site had been successfully transferred to another server and is working fine now. The new website should be online by Monday and I hope we will be enjoying all the new features that this latest version has to offer. And yes, all the pending payouts have been processed today after the site came back online. Just a few minutes ago I received the latest update from the admin of PTVPartner Garrett (interviewed here) telling us about the unplanned downtime, the next meeting scheduled for next week, new site and delayed and already processed withdrawal requests. Of course Garrett also didn’t fail to thank all the members of PTVPartner for being patient enough and not panicking despite the downtime. I myself really think that PTVPartner (reviewed here) is definitely one of the best programs online and offers really attractive plans of 110% after 10 days, 125% after 20 days, 145% after 30 days and 190% after 40 days and has a really determined and innovative admin that in my honest opinion can be trusted and whose professional opinion I value and respect. Well, even to read his regular newsletter is always a pleasure. Here’s the latest one touching on all the latest important developments:
“We Are Back!!!
On 11/6 at around 3 or 4 am GMT we suspended the server at our Host in order to move the Website to a new Host and Server. This should have only taken 2 or 3 hours plus propagation time. Shortly after we moved the site and re-pointed the DNS, a major hardware failure occurred with the upstream provider of the new host. Our site was not available online for almost 30 hours!
Then, the most amazing thing happened……………no one panicked!!!
This is HYIP! Sites don’t go down for 4 or 5 hours without the whole community totally freaking out.
It just goes to show you that PTVPartner Members are some of the more astute in the community. Also, our moderator staff did a fantastic job, once again, in getting the word out, manning the chat room, patrolling the various forums and keeping members informed.
I would personally like to thank everyone from the Mod Staff to the Members for having faith that we were and are doing what we say. Thank you for being patient, not complaining, trusting that we would handle the problems and become available as soon as possible. Thank You.
Withdraw Requests from 11/6
Withdraws were processed within 2 hours of the site returning. We needed to allow time to stabilize the new server, so we remained available very late into the night, in order to ensure that your withdraw requests were processed. Withdraws are processed once daily, within 24 hours of the conclusion of the business day, which is midnight Zurich time. Typically this happens within 1 to 4 hours from close of business. 11/6 withdraws were processed before 9 hours had passed. (and again, no one panicked!!!)
I am sure that there were a few who were concerned. I want to tell you personally, we are not going anywhere. You don’t have to worry about PTVPartner. Even in a crises, we will endure, return, process your withdraw requests and update you as soon as is possible. In the meantime, we have established our chat room so that it is on a different, encrypted, host and so should always be available in the event the website is not. We are taking additional precautions to alleviate any future downtime’s.

While we were down, the script did not apply interest to maturing accounts for the day. That has all been alleviated and is now in order.
New Website
We will be integrating the new website this weekend. We feel all is well and that we can finally move forward with the integration. This will happen…after payouts… on Monday at 4am GMT and should take 8 to 10 hours. So if all goes well the new website will finally be a reality.

We are planning another meeting for the next week. We will hold it this time on Wednesday at Midnight GMT. We have been asked to continue with weekly meetings and so we are complying. The admin of SazaInvestments program Ricardo (interviewed here) announced that nobody would be available to answer support tickets until Sunday night. Well, considering how much work they put into the site over the last week fixing each and every account I think the entire SazaInvestments team deserves a pat on the back from the investors and of course a very well deserved rest. By the way, Ricardo informed me today that the site changes would continue with a new script about to be implemented very soon. So I decided to postpone my updated review of SazaInvestments (read the older version here) for the time being until the new script is done. I hope you understand that it’s always better to review a program when something significant has changed and to keep the information as fresh as possible. Well, so far the investment plans offered by SazaInvestments are the same: 8%-10% weekly forever and nothing really changed except that they started accepting Bank wires as well. Strangely PremiumCapital (reviewed here) changed its investment plan to a more profitable 5% for 30 days but without notifying the investors. Notification did come today though regarding something else – the introduction of WebMoney payment processor. I’d like to point out that WebMoney always protects its reputation against scams and takes a very negative view any HYIPs in their system. If it’s discovered by them it will definitely be blocked. That’s why it’s not so safe to deposit via WebMoney in any HYIP. Anyway, I have a suspicion that PremiumCapital came from Russians since the website is translated into three languages but the fact that they are putting a fake seal about Dragonara protection and a fake address (I have received a complaint about it as well) makes me think that PremiumCapital is not so serious about maintaining their reputation at all. Anyway, so far the payouts have been fast or instant and it’s only up to the admin how long PremiumCapital will last with the new plan. Here is the latest update from the program:
