BEWARE! THIS PROGRAM HAS STOPPED PAYING! PLEASE DO NOT INVEST!

Salut tout le monde! A nice Spring day in Paris has put me in a cheerful mood this evening so I’ll try to make the news as brief as possible. Though there is still plenty to report. First however I want to take a more extensive look at a recently launched program which has been added to my monitoring list. It’s called SmartTradersInv and this time it’s a long term low rate of interest program.

At first I wasn’t really that sure what to think of them. The problem was with their website, or to be more precise the language used on their website. I don’t think their English is any better than my French, lol! In fact it’s littered with mistakes and wrong spellings. After observing them for a few days however I’d admit it would be a bit harsh just to judge them based on that alone. So the admin is not that strong an English speaker, that can leave you with a bad first impression because typing errors and bad spelling just look sloppy. And it’s hard not to be put off by that sometimes. But it does not alter the admin’s ability to manage the program and to judge SmartTradersInv based solely on their performance it’s been well up to standard. Better than many others I could think of.

So let’s see what it’s all about. SmartTradersInv is the latest program to start offering perpetual style “no expiry date” programs so by joining you will receive a regular payment until the program collapses. In this case there are two plans on offer, one of which will pay you every day and the other which will pay you by the week. There is also the option to get your principal out after a certain point, but I’ll get to that in a moment.

First of all the plans and we’ll start with the daily one. It costs just $10 to join and for amounts between that and $500 SmartTradersInv will offer you a daily payment of 1.2%. That would take you 84 days to break even. For bigger investments of between $501 and $5000 will get 1.3% credited to their account every day enabling you to break even after 77 days. Amounts bigger than that will also be accepted with a rate of interest of 1.4% paid every day.

Maybe you’d prefer something a little riskier? SmartTradersInv also has a weekly payments plan that will pay you once every 7 days. This one also costs a minimum of $10 to join so it’s no less affordable than the previous plan. Amounts between that and $500 will get you a weekly payment of 9% which isn’t really all that much better than what the same amount in the daily plan will get you. I mean it will pay you a bit more but is it enough to justify the extra risk? You decide. Anyway, at 9% interest per week you will break even and see your first profit with your 12th payment. If you want a better rate of interest, then it’s available for you but it’s going to cost you. Deposits from $501 up to $5000 are rewarded with an interest payment of 9.5% per week. That will see you break even after 11 weeks. And finally if you wish to deposit anything bigger than $5000 then SmartTradersInv offer you 10% per week.

In the event of you no longer wishing to participate in the program then SmartTradersInv do allow you to take your deposit and leave. The problem with that is that the lock-in period is 100 calendar days which is a pretty long time and you won’t see a cent before that. So keep that in mind when signing up and only use money that you know you are not likely to need again urgently for a couple of months. The list of payment processors is reasonable enough with LibertyReserve, PerfectMoney, GlobalDigitalPay, and the recently added StrictPay all in use. Payments need to be requested and you are asked to allow 24 hours for them to be processed.

The design and security of the SmartTradersInv website is all pretty much up to an acceptable standard here with the use of SSL encryption to protect your account being the first thing to catch your eye. They are hosted on a dedicated Staminus server with support and protection by Koddos and are running off a script licensed by GoldCoders. Customer support is made available through a selection of e-mail addresses with each one dealing with a specific issue, or else by submitting a support ticket on the form provided.

A certificate of incorporation is offered for your inspection showing SmartTradersInv to be a registered business in the Bahamas. The certificate may well be genuine but the texts are not. The biographies for instance are a direct copy from another investments related website, proving once more that it’s easier to get an online HYIP registered as a company than it is for its admins to come up with an original story, even if it wasn’t true! So disregard any claims about outside business and investment activities and proceed with the usual caution you should apply to all online HYIPs. No guarantees on anything here but it does have some interesting aspects.

OTHER NEWS FOR TODAY.

I hope you’re all in the mood for some good news today there was a very important clarification issued by GeniusFunds (reviewed here). As you might know GeniusFunds has been the best performer among online HYIPs operating since the year 2008 and offering daily and weekly investment plans with variable returns of 1.0%-1.9% daily and 6% to 9% weekly. It’s accepting all the popular payment processors along with Bank wires. Recently some concerns were raised by the British Columbian Securities Commission which first set the date of a hearing investigating the alleged violation of Canadian law by “making misrepresentations to investors because it offers a rate of return that is impossible to earn consistently through legal means”.

The hearing that was originally planned for February, 25th was postponed until April, 7th however the remaining temporary order against investing in GeniusFunds for the people of British Columbia is still in force. This made GeniusFunds temporarily stop accepting investors from British Columbia until the hearing which was delayed due to GeniusFunds requesting an adjournment in order to better organize their legal counsel to represent them. Surprisingly though I received an official email from Ms. Patricia Steele who works in the Compliance Department in GeniusFunds with apparently the official position of the administration of the program regarding this matter and the assurance given to the investors that they would do everything possible to prove their legitimacy and to be registered under the BCSC securities act. Moreover, Ms, Steele was nice enough to attach a copy of the license that actually allows GeniusFunds to function as an investment firm under Cypriot law. I’m very satisfied to see that it’s not a certificate of incorporation of which I already mentioned on my blog (and about the ease with which you can obtain them in many countries) but actually a financial license which is giving them the right to carry out their investment activities. I don’t know if I’m supposed to put this document on public view or but I suppose many of the investors should receive it anyway. If you didn’t receive the following email just contact me and I will send you the license in a PDF file. Anyway, here is the most recent email which was received from GeniusFunds:
“In the last several weeks I have received several messages concerning rumors on our alleged violation of securities regulations in the province of British Columbia and elsewhere.
Such rumors are spread by our competitors in order to discredit us in the eyes of our clients. Please disregard them and in case of any questions, contact me directly, as I am the person responsible for any compliance issues here at GeniusFunds.
We have filed for adjournment of the hearing in front of the BCSC, and consequently the hearing was rescheduled to April 7th, 2010. We have retained counsel in the province and during the time allotted to us, we will do everything possible to obtain relevant registration under BCSC securities act.
I want to assure you that we are a duly registered and licensed investment firm, licensed by the government of Cyprus. A copy of our license is attached hereto.

The site of BioEnergyFunds (reviewed here) seems to be doing really well now with many more new investors joining the program and upgrading into one of the following plans: 8% for 2 weeks (principal back on expiry) and 8.5%-12% for 30 weeks (principal included). The admin of the program recently sent out a newsletter where he gave the link to the review published on MNO and made some note about the explosive growth BioEnergyFunds is experiencing after being online for less than two weeks. The admin of Aballong Alrea (interviewed here) reported some news and other clarifications regarding the depositing into the second pool. First of all, the pool will be the last one and there will be no third pool once they reach the planned purpose of $100K into the second one. Second, those willing to deposit into Aballong via credit card are able to do so without any verification if already a verified AlertPay customer, which is now by the way accepting all major cards. I haven’t heard much lately from the admin of WeeklyDividend (interviewed here) and apart from the regular cashouts he issued no newsletters for the last few weeks. So yesterday he sent out some news announcing a 5% bonus on top of your investment in any chosen plan: 1.1%-1.5% daily forever, 9%-11% weekly forever. As I already mentioned on my blog today SmartTradersInv added a fourth payment processor yesterday and it’s the ever popular StrictPay option. The admin of SmartTradersInv Calvin reported about that in the latest newsletter:

The admin of ACEEntertainments (reviewed here) reported today that he had been blackmailed and that by refusing to pay to an allegedly Russian scammer operating from jeff.anni@yandex.ru account he hopes that the members will support his program by voting on major monitors (since the scammer promised to create a bad-mouthing campaign). I hope that the members of ACEEntertainments will be smart enough not to believe bad votes without actually verifying their source and will continue to support the program which is paying 35% for 3 days, 17% for 7 days and 12% for 12 days. ACEEntertainments has been online for over 2 weeks and the payouts were very fast so far. Here is the newsletter:

The admin of InvestProxy (reviewed here) asked the members for their support by posting positive votes on the public forums and monitors which were listed on their site. InvestProxy has been paying for over 5 months already on multiple plans so it definitely deserves some support in my opinion. Here is what the admin of InvestProxy has to say about it:

AtlantisMutual (reviewed here) is online long enough to consider it as one of the best programs around today. The constantly improving site and the flawless payment record dating back to August of 2009 on all plans paid on expiry (105% after 7 days, 120% after 21 days, 191% after 60 days, 293% after 90 days, 391% after 120 days) indicates that AtlantisMutual is a pretty serious and professional program. As you might remember some time ago a quick start guide was added to the site aimed mostly at the newbies to help them with their investment process. By now such quick start guides are available in four additional languages, so the members of AtlantisMutual speaking French, Italian or Spanish will find their website even more convenient and user-friendly for investing. This is the latest news about that taken from AtlantisMutual website:

I’m glad to report that the admin of ForexNetClub – one of the most promising programs offering three investment plans with on expiry payments (109% after 2 weeks, 128% after 4 weeks, 191% after 8 weeks) – answered my interview questions. Please make sure you read my detailed review of ForexNetClub published here before proceeding to the tomorrow’s interview because it’s always better to find out some basics. Unfortunately I have to move NanoMoneyCorp to On Hold status on my monitoring page until the site is stable and the delayed payments are processed. I surely understand the complicated process of checking each and every account but until it’s done a program cannot be considered to be safe and recommended for investments. I hope that NanoMoneyCorp will solve their issues soon and then I will be able to move it back to Paying status. At this moment it’s not recommended to invest in this program.
