Well, to tell you the truth, I didn’t expect some difficulties with payouts in SurfMargin. But the angry “not paying” posts started to emerge on the forums since last night. I remind you that the deadline for receiving payment in SurfMargin is seven business days. But despite the fact that many members have not been paid for 9 business days already Charles wasn’t in a hurry to come out with some explanation. But it’s Charles’ ordinary way of behaving: first being silent for a couple of days then finally coming out with the long update. So here’s this update:

“We had a problem with STP in that they were being attacked by a hacker that was trying to get into the big admin accounts. As soon as the attacks started they were aware of the situation from their security system and as a precaution changed all our passwords and secondary password and even the emails. It took me a while to figure that one out but after contacting STP and confirming my ID they sent me the new passwords. So that delayed cashouts more. Then, forgetting that we use the secondary password encrypted in our script to route upgrades to the correct account pages some upgrades in both SurfMargin and MultiStreamOnline were not recorded so I’ve had to do them manually and if you are affected this way please let me know ASAP. There has been some work done on the script to correct the password situation. With regards to the slowdown in cashouts we are seeing a reduction in upgrade values as some members use their funds for Christmas purposes rather than purchase additional Advertising Packs. That is the nature of this business and affects all advertising companies the same, I am doing my best to keep on top of it.
