Well, I don’t know if you are already aware of this but today the biggest disappointment has happened: DesiresHYIP that was tipped to become the next leader of the industry was hacked (or was it?), all the LR funds were stolen (or were they?) and the database was compromised (was it really?). I am going to publish this whole update here as it’s too long and controversial. Of course I will give you my comments regarding this update.

First of all, I was waiting for my payment for 15 hours from last night until I received this email: “I will be back soon. Don’t get tensed“. This seemed to me a really strange update at first but then I thought that maybe the admin got attacked again. But there was no excuse for him for being silent on the forums during all these hours and to continue accepting the deposits when he already knew that the site had collapsed. Below you will find said update with my comments in between the paragraphs. In advance I would like to say sorry if my comments can seem harsh to you but I really hate the people who pretend to run a program honestly and then run away with all the money leaving the members with nothing but lame excuses.

“Dear Members, The site picked up with good number of deposits, good number of investors and good amount of support only to see one bad thing that is the negatives“.

He meant by this point he has collected enough money to live comfortably for a while.

“The site was first hacked & was compromised (Probably by GC / or our previous hosting company) and we had to switch on to a costly server recommended by Dave where his sites FPP, BPP are hosted“.

These tactics I would call “blame everybody else but just leave me alone”. It’s not a professional approach to say the least. Putting the blame on his previous hosting company or GoldCoders without any proof is lame. Why on earth would they need to get even with him? And of course Dave is the one to blame? He helped him with some questionable advice. But somehow Dave managed to host his own sites FPP and BPP on the same servers for a very long time without any problems.

“But, yesterday’s DDOS attacks have made life tougher for the site and with DDOS attacks, there came a hacker who hacked the Liberty Reserve account of our site. I was speechless as the hacker was able to compromise security and withdraw the same amount that got to the site at one stroke. All the hard work at one single stroke to a hacker!”

I’ve never heard of it being possible to hack a LibertyReserve account unless you obtain the necessary passwords. But I would not call it “hacking” but rather “stupidity”. And as always happens in the imaginary world along came a hacker and stole all the money in one stroke. Sorry, but I have heard these stories before too many times to believe in them.

“Sorry for not coming here before but I don’t even dare to watch how you’re asking for payments and I can do nothing. Our hopes are gone. I was almost to cry last night when I logged in to my admin area and tried to process the payments & noticed the message: Insufficient funds. I thought it’s a LR glitch, but I checked and I saw the disaster“.

Of course, Ray (if that is his real name) kept suffering and at the same time the deposits were just coming in because he somehow forgot to disable the “deposit” button. But you must forgive him, he felt so miserable so he couldn’t help but accept more money for 15 hours more. By the way, many people were complaining on the forums that their LibertyReserve payment had not been credited to their accounts properly and I saw it with my own eyes 15 hours before the announcement. Sorry, Ray, but I can’t believe such crap.

“The guy managed to get in through API interface using which its same like e-gold hacking where he can get to see the admin account balance and transfer them at one go to his account“.

Have you ever heard about such LR hacking incidents before? I bet DesiresHYIP will be the first and the last program that has been hacked like this. Either Ray is extremely stupid which I can’t believe or just extremely sharp which is more likely to me.

“However, I made a right thing by sending some reserves to my personal account around $6000 and also expected the Hosting admin whom I paid $1100 for additional DDOS attack prevention to REFUND me so it makes $7100 in refunds“.

Ray probably just forgot to mention AlertPay funds that should still be intact. Did he forget? AP was the second payment processor and I expect to see at least 1/3 of all the funds still hanging on there.

“In the mean while, I was able to get the information of the hacker who got through the site and he was none other than a HYIP Monitor site admin (http://top100hyip.info/) admin“.

I have checked this site and I don’t think it’s active anymore so it’s always better to place all the blame on the guy who will not be able to reply to you anyway.

He made deposit of $10 on Jan-5-2008 03:49:02 PM (U4706510 (top100hyip.info)) but never withdrawed nothing.
However, he was able to hack complete LR account without living a single pie.

This is the sum he stole. It was our LR amount, the rest were compoundings, and as I told u 7K went to my acc, and another 3K or something like that to advertising, hosting, ref. fees“.

Did you notice the time when the withdrawal has been made? It took Ray 17 hours to realize that the LR account was hacked. If he knew about it earlier why not inform the investors about it? No comments here.

“I wanted to do one last thing, I sent the mail to the admin of top100hyip telling him I caught him red handed and return over the amount but, before I could see what he will reply, I got up into another BIG mess“.

Knowing that the site is abandoned I would not hold my breath about it.

“The Server admin was supposed to make me $1100 refund for the higher server that I ordered which I cancelled now as I was hacked. I wanted to pay all that was available with me + the refund that I get from this server admin.
But, this did not happen either. The server admin simply deleted the site from the database after I asked him refund and is not even replying to me. Dave is offline all through the day unable to resolve this situation“.

That is really strange. It seems all the troubles in the world fell on the admin’s head: DDOS-attack, changing hosting provider, hacking, DDOS again and finally switching off the site. Really, I would not be too surprised if he had an earthquake or got struck by lightning next time.

“What I wanted to do?
Now the site was hacked, I wanted to take out what was transferred to my reserve account and along with that Hosting refund of $1100 to the members totaling $7100+ refund + the Alertpay Refund“.

But something obviously happened that messed up with the admin’s plans to refund all the members immediately. Really, such an honest guy!

“What Happened?
Hosting admin has deleted the site from his server. Deleted the access and is not replying / giving me the database to even make the refund!!!
If I get the database backup / the server back for few moments, I can start tracking all the accounts, set a percentage of refund (how much I can pay to each of you form this 7.1K) and in a few days you’ll have a lil amount back“.

That is the most ridiculous excuse I’ve ever heard. Why on earth does he need a database to refund the members? Wasn’t there enough of the history of the transactions in his LR account and members’ LR accounts?

“Regarding Hacker?
I have given all information of the hacker, its upto us to trace him down and bang him down“.

I doubt it will happen because it was obviously Ray himself and logically he cannot trace himself unless of course he’s a Jekyll and Hyde type character.

“I asked LR to block his account, and other spends he’ll do from now one because those are illegal funds. I also asked them for a chargeback but I don’t think we’ll get any results. LR is not PP. But I hope“.

LibertyReserve payments are irrevocable and it’s against LR privacy policy to give you chargeback. There’s no hope regarding it.

“I’m sorry for what has happened but, everyone has a clear view of what went on wrong and it’s up to us to help ourselves get our money back. I hope everyone is accepting what I am trying to say. I do not want to run away, it’s not only my game! I survived every battle, if we survive these two battles of getting database backup + the hacked money back, site will be back and running again. Every information is very helpful and please understand the situation. I had a horrible last night & with the hosting person making life miserable, it’s a sad thing that person wanting to do good has many bad people around who want to stop me“.

Again blaming and cursing. He only had good intentions but the bad guys stopped him and stole all the money. Ray, it’s just too good to be true.

“I’ll let u know about our refunding strategy if we’ll receive our DB back from our hosting provider because as I told u he is not replaying and also his last message was that he cleared the site from his sv“.

Here I would suggest a simple plan to Ray. Pretend to make a big effort and refund the members say 30% of their depositing amount. People will be so grateful to you that they will gladly join your next HYIP where you will have the bigger opportunity to scam them and keep all the money you stole from DesiresHYIP to yourself. How does it sound to you, Ray? I hope you have no intention to run another HYIP because even if you’re honest you FAILED to do this. And there’s no way I will give you a second chance to scam more people.

“I’m not capable to read your posts, knowing that a lot of my friends lost their money here, and I’m unable to do nothing, I won’t reply and read nothing until ill get a lil bit calmed“.

It seems he was able to reply to me on MMG forum though he was very tired after all the money he stole. Maybe he just can’t bear the truth?

That’s enough for now guys. But I will return to this topic as more info becomes available.

Other news for today.

I was really surprised to get my payment from MultiStreamOnline today. Though there has been no update from Charles regarding payments for a very long time it seems that he’s catching up with all the payments. I noticed also that many members of SurfMargin got their payments recently so Charles is still paying, though slowly. By the way, I got my payment for 16/12/07 pending in MultiStreamOnline and I am going to reupgrade tomorrow as another upgrade has just expired. I must say that Charles can’t stop surprising me on a daily basis so I put both of his programs in “paying” status on my monitoring page.

Last night I reupgraded in Tramael after having received my third payment. I believe Nein is doing well and I am feeling very comfortable being a member of his program.

Jeff, admin of QXLsurf started a referral contest that will run until midnight January 23rd server time. So even if you don’t get referral commission now you still have a chance to win some of the 3 cash prizes offered. I think it’s a good promo and want to wish Jeff luck in this. This is his latest update from today: “Payouts have been completed. We’ve reduced the number of pages you need to surf to 7. Our bandwidth usage is far greater than anticipated. We’re keeping an eye on the usage and our host assured me that should we exceed our limit our service will continue uninterrupted, that’s about all for now. I’m going to change my hosting provider to a new one (www.hostican.com) tomorrow, so please be patient if you can’t have access to my site during this week-end. The process can take up to 72 hours till the DNS is fully propagated and I hope the transition will be as smooth as possible. Once I made it I am going to expand my services and the site will be bigger and better. All the subscribers to my “Money-News Club” should expect some present from me very soon.
