There was so much news today that I don’t even know what to start with. Probably I will start with the main news in my opinion.

In the morning I received a letter from Dave, admin of FastProfitPro and BusinessProfitPro informing me about a new HYIP that was about to open soon: “One of our good members is starting her own HYIP program. Check it out… it’s on pre-launch now and will open its doors tomorrow for deposits. The rate is 20% daily for 7 days. I already joined and highly recommend it. As usual, ref comms received here will go to BPP’s Live ROI“. I don’t know why Dave promotes the competitive programs as I don’t see any benefit of it except harm that can be caused to his credibility if a program closes. That already happened in case with HGW-invest that had been hardly promoted by Dave and scammed very fast after the opening. Many members lost their money then and I think this was one of the main reasons why BPP daily ROI has dropped so significantly since then.

What can I say about the program itself? It’s called DesiresHYIP and is run by one respected MMG member. Though it was in pre-launch stage for 3 days it seems to have been created in a hurry. It has only one plan: 20% for 7 days with the minimum deposit $1 and the maximum $4,000. Initially, it was planned that DesiresHYIP would accept LibertyReserve and e-gold as payment processors but since admin’s e-gold account has been blocked the admin decided to refund all the members that had made their deposits via e-gold and replace it with AlertPay. I have joined DesiresHYIP but have not deposited yet and would rather watch how things will go for the next couple of days. There are several pros and cons that I can emphasize regarding this program.

Pros:
1) Licensed GoldCoders script – Will allow the site to run smoothly.
2) BlackLotus hosting – Possibly will protect the site from DDOS-attacks and numerous hackers.
3) Good intentions – Admin seems to have good intentions to run the site as honestly as possible.

Cons:
1) Inexperience – Admin has no proper experience in running an HYIP program.
2) Hype – Can kill any HYIP program very fast especially a high-ROI HYIP with an inexperienced admin.
3) Ability to compound – 140% for 7 days with compounding. I think it’s too much to sustain the payouts. One small glitch in depositing system can become a reason for failure.
4) E-gold – Choosing e-gold as a payment processor was a mistake from the beginning. Knowing that e-gold policy allows the blocking of HYIP accounts at any time and still not dropping it is just totally irresponsible.

Since there are more cons than pros I made a decision to monitor DesiresHYIP closely for a couple of days before making a deposit. Anyway, the program looks interesting and has the potential to become a big hit if the admin proves that he is capable of running this risky type of HYIP.

Other news for today.

There is some restructuring going on behind the scenes in SurfMargin. First I noticed that the time of surfing for each site increased from an initial 10 seconds to 15 seconds. And today “You Are Viewing a Premium Merchant Ad” sign appeared on the sidebar. It seems Charles is preparing for something big. Anyway, there’s still no news from him but I’m sure he will give us an update when he has something to say. This is the latest update from Angus: “I have just spoken to Charles who has been unwell for the past couple of days. He will be emailing out an update to all members later on today, or early tomorrow“. I will be looking forward to it and hope it will shed some light on the current situation. But 10% ROI today and the payments that are still coming tells us that there must be something positive.

Today I got another update from Jamie regarding the official launch of PSTraffic: “Today PSTraffic is officially launched. All systems go!!! The only issue at hand is STP upgrades. There is a glitch on STP’s end. I have contacted Stella and waiting for her reply. Everything else is working as it should. If any other issues occur, kindly submit a ticket at the support desk. RE: REFUNDS FROM THE OLD PST. Please log into your account and you will notice a field saying “Refund from old site:” and “Paid so far:” If you are owed a refund from the old site it will show there. If you are in profit it will also show“. I can confirm that my adpacks that I purchased via STP yesterday hadn’t been credited to my account automatically. And I had to submit a ticket but the support is working promptly and my issue was solved within minutes. Also one of my readers asked me about the refund process, and my opinion is the following. I don’t think that it will affect PSTraffic lifecycle in any way, because not many members are at a loss from the previous round and also because I believe that Jamie didn’t make a remodeling of PSTraffic just to refund people who were not in profit. He is too smart and knows exactly who it needs to run a successful program for a long time. I’m sure that the proper adjustments will be made on the way if the program is at risk.

Just for the record: I received another payout from FastProfitPro today and made a cashout request from AttractiveAds.

I’m still waiting for an answer from Jeff, admin of QXLsurf so the interview is obviously delayed. And I just got an important update from him about some serious changes in QXLsurf:
To those of you who have never been involved in the DPSGroup Network programs, welcome to QXLSurf and thank you for choosing our program.
I have over three years experience as a admin, and believe each and every member deserves prompt customer support. In that time I’ve seen a lot of changes in this industry and had my share of ups and downs. In that time nobody, and I mean nobody has walked away out of pocket in any of my programs. I have also met quite a few admins in that time (chat and email, not f2f) and over time have shared a tremendous amount of knowledge. So believe me when I say I am no fool, and do not take my kindness as stupidity. I would also appreciate being treated in the same manner, with courtesy and respect.
Over the past 72 hours I have uncovered a number of cheaters and they have been dealt with. Investigations such as these consume a lot of time, time that could be put to better uses such as generating returns and keeping up to date with whats happening day by day.
That being said, will be making a couple of changes in our program.
Number One: Effective immediately, we will no longer be paying a referral commission, I was wrong in calculating a 2% commission would be sufficient and not worth a cheaters time. Seems as if 7% for 17days isn’t enough for them, they still want more.
Number Two: Our 50/50 rule on payouts of $300.00 or more will be reduced to $100.00. This reduction WILL NOT affect those purchases already in the system and will come into effect later tonight, after the January 4th server time changes to the 5th. We are already seeing hit and runners earning a payout below $300.00, being paid, then requesting to be deleted.
Unfortunately, the majority of honest members, have to face the consequences of a minority of others. And to the majority I do apologize. BUT,as our long term supporters are well aware, I will do what needs to be done in order to keep your program sustainable and working for you
“.
I can see that hit-n-runners are still trying to hurt honest programs. So I like that Jeff reduced the amount for 50/50 rule to $100. But in my opinion it’s a big mistake to drop referral commissions completely. Members still need some incentives to promote programs. 2% was quite small for active promotions and it would be understandable if the admin just decided to reduce it to 1%. Anyway, I hope these changes will make QXLsurf more stable and hope to hear from him soon to make the interview.

I’m still struggling to choose the right hosting provider for my site. I had to change my plans recently and will probably go with HostMonster.com. So I’d like to ask is anybody somehow familiar with this hosting? Let me know what you think ASAP as I need to change it by the end of January.

Thank you for reading my blog. I hope it’s been useful for you. And to be updated you can always subscribe to my RSS-feed. Check out my blog tomorrow for more news!
