Hi everybody! Today I have another interview for you and I’m pleased to say that as a long time investor in online HYIPs I found this to be very interesting myself. It’s with Sergey who is the founder, developer, and manager of what might just be the best HYIP script provider available at the moment. While some of you may think this might not be that relevant to you, I would disagree. I’m always fascinated to see more about what goes into making a good HYIP, and I would urge all of you to take a more serious interest in the security of programs competing for your hard earned money. Sergey proved to be quite an interesting man to interview. At once both a perfect gentleman and a thorough professional dedicated 100% to making and keeping Waylex the leader in this industry, something he will achieve by providing the best service possible in a very demanding industry. There is a lot more to Waylex however than just the script. There is a fantastic array of services available in the areas of web development, artistic design, IT consulting, project management, and so on. The list goes on so I hope everyone involved in working online will find this interview to be of as much interest as I did. So let’s hear from Sergey.

“1. Hi Sergey, please introduce yourself to the readers and tell us about your own role in Waylex. Tell us also what is Waylex and what is it you are offering your clients?

Hello Paul and dear readers. My name is Sergey and I’m the founder of Waylex website offering IT services and advanced web solutions for online businesses. Currently Waylex is targeting the HYIP market. Our latest release of the FundManager web system will be an easy-to-use basement for professional and outstanding online investment programs and other e-commerce solutions.

2. First of all can you give us some information on your own background in the IT industry. I know you have many years experience under your belt. Tell us about your qualifications and about the other projects you have been involved with prior to Waylex.

By now I have 10 years professional experience in web development. I also have my degree in Information Security. Since 2005 when I began working as a freelancer many projects were completed. I don’t find it practical to list all of them here, just to say that some were high-traffic web-portals, some were specific functional applications, many website designs were made by Sergey and Lena, the present design artists of Waylex. Besides that we also had many customers asking for custom HYIP scripts. Since 2006 we delivered roughly speaking 25 custom projects.In March 2008 we started FundManager sales and a lot of HYIPs were using it. Some of them are: invescotrade.com, libertyjoin.com, alpinnetrade.com, yourprofithere.com, bestfastprofit.com, fastprofit4you.com, profitbay.com and others.

3. Now tell us a bit more about the story behind Waylex. Is this your sole occupation? How many support staff do you have? Tell us about them and their roles and qualifications.

As I already mentioned, I’ve been working as a freelancer for a long period. Many projects were completed by that time. Every order I was taking was unique but always had much in common with what I’ve already been working with. Once, it became evident that some generic e–commerce platform must be created and this was probably the birth of Waylex and FundManager.

Currently there are four people working for Waylex. Me and Yuri are web developers. Yuri has a rich internet development experience and is very good in the core of web technologies. Sergey and Lena are professional web designers. Each of them has 5 or 7 years of experience but this doesn’t really matter – everything they draw looks brilliant. By the way, Waylex and some of the above HYIPs listed were drawn by them.

4. What are the price plans involved and how can potential clients test the product before buying it?

Well, this is probably the most interesting question for those in the business of online investments. Price policy of Waylex might look uncommon at a first glance. FundManager is only sold on a per-domain basis for a certain period of time. For example, license for using FundManager on a single domain during one month costs $199, 3 months – $519 and 6 months – $899. For a longer period a more advanced cooperation agreement is possible. Also there is a flexible referral program and a coupon code discounting system.

Some potential customers might wonder about such a high price boundaries. I must agree, Waylex has no intention of endorsing ponzi projects. So, if someone wants a script for 5-days HYIP he will definitely need to look somewhere else.

On the other hand, there are investment projects intended to work honestly for respectable clients and this is the right place where FundManager comes into play.

5. What HYIPs have you worked with in the past and how would you describe your working relationship with them?

Every client is unique and at the very start we always tend to figure out what exactly he expects and why. Sometimes this allows us to simplify the development, shorten delivery terms and lower prices. Generally speaking though, our clients have so far always been satisfied with their expectations and our professional team.

6. What can new customers expect from you in terms of technical support, after sales service, IT solutions, etc? If I want to launch my own HYIP for the first time, how strong a level of computer skills would you suggest I have myself before beginning?

First of all, every FundManager license includes full-period support. This includes FundManager installation on a target server, security optimization/consulting and solving all run-time issues that may happen. Practical experience shows that generally installation/startup can be done seamlessly by even the least qualified customers.

Installing FundManager doesn’t require any additional skills and may be completed by a wizard installer which uploads required files to the server, sets the environment up and launches the FundManager configuration wizard. This whole procedure has in-place instructions and can be completed in 10 minutes at most.

Again, we always assist in solving any issues that might happen during installation as well as for the whole licensing period.

7. The testimonial on your homepage says “I’m glad to see Waylex back online now with even more advanced and enhanced script.” Does that mean you closed the site for some time? What happened there?

That’s true, Waylex was offline for a certain period of time. It was decided to suspend sales for 10 months and focus on the development process itself. We then decided not to prolong our hosting account and update it when nessesary. We’re online now and ready for the new sales season.

8. What would you say are the main advantages of using Waylex over your rivals? If I run a site and am already using another script, how do I go about changing? Is it easy from the client’s point of view? Does it involve my site going offline for some period of time?

I’m afraid that this is not a simple task since changing software will also require preserving your database. Probably, we will consider this function if we have enough requests from our customers. I’m not sure this will ever be a critical issue though.

9. Following on from that, what’s your opinion of your main rivals? What do you think of GoldCoders or NeverSay and how will you challenge their dominance in the HYIP market?

First of all, I must admit that GoldCoders, NeverSay and others are serving a different segment of the HYIP industry primarily targeting ponzi projects. I don’t think we are competitors at all. Those who need a cheap script for quick money will surely purchase something like those you mentioned.

FundManager is intended to be a web system for powering real investment projects and can hardly be called ‘script’. Being written in pure PHP FundManager uses the ASP.NET concept and is backed by the Prado framework. In it’s core it’s not that simple as GoldCoders or NeverSay. FundManager has modular architecture, is written in a pure object-oriented style, has an embedded licensing system, security protection, xml-configuration subsystem, portlet-based functionality, multiple 3rd party libraries are used and this is just the tip of the iceberg. Being that complex to the core, FundManager intents to minimize management routines and is simpler to maintain compared to other products. Automated instalation wizard uploads files to the server, tests environment, sets file permissions, installs database and configures FundManager in a fully automated mode. Any system functionality can be plugged onto the page by simply specifying a portlet tag and configuring it’s properties. FundManager users will find that it supports multiple websites, master template and pages mechanism, authorization subsystem, inline template programming and many other useful features. Mentioning all of them probably deserves writing a book and is definitely outside of our interview format, but interested parties can get in touch.

To make a long story short, we are developing FundManager since 2006 and the current 2.0 release is the result of our confidence in what we are offering. Having an outstanding quality product coupled with full-time support we intent to be a major brand-name for online investment software.

10. Can you explain how Waylex manages a sites relationship with a particular e-currency? If a member pays into a site, how is the admin there sure he will receive it?

FundManager integrates payment processors using standard specifications. This implies that members pay directly to accounts specified by an administrator. FundManager only accepts payment notifications from e-currency gateways and adds funds to user accounts.

For an advanced payments that may seem unsafe to be processed automatically, there is a function for an admin to create a payment manually specifying all details. This feature works for incoming payments as well as outgoing ones.

Also, FundManager allows one to limit payouts based on maximum withdrawal amounts per period and per-request. Payments that do not match specified criteria will be queued for administrator approval.

11. With e-gold all but extinct (in terms of HYIP activity anyway) and LibertyReserve having it’s share of detractors, your choice of payment processors would seem to limit the appeal of Waylex. What are you going to do to address this?

Currently FundManager supports e-Gold, LibertyReserve and PerfectMoney. We will definitely implement more payment processors in the near future. For those customers who are eager to use FundManager but need additional payment systems, we can implement one right after they purchase their license.

12. Is it just HYIPs you are targeting now? What appeal to you have first of all to those running small home based internet businesses, and then to the wider online business community?

Not only HYIPs. As I mentioned, FundManager is already powering our website being a good CMS, web-shop and discounting system. We plan to implement currency exchange and electronic goods shop modules in the 3.0 release. This will probably take another six months.

13. Is there anything else you would like to add at this point? Something we haven’t touched on that you feel worth mentioning?

I’d like to mention about Waylex referral program. Currently we are seeking for cooperation with administrators of HYIP-related websites such as monitors, forums, blogs and others. The referral program we are offering will pay 20% of every sale made through referral links.
