Hi everybody! Well after yesterday being so quiet, the first time I didn’t have a new site to introduce since I don’t know when, today seems back to normal. Of course there were other reasons for that too, namely the temporary suspension of operations (for maintenance reasons) for HushHosting. So today, finally, as promised I will take a look at LloydFunds.

It’s another recently launched HYIP and I suppose I should really start by saying that a lot of you are really not going to like this one. I mean the program itself is fine, it has all the features you would expect but the cost of investing is somewhat prohibitive to a lot of you. I’ll get to the exact figures in a moment but I just want to make sure you are aware of this before proceeding.

So now that’s out of the way, I’ll explain the plans on offer. LloydFunds offer what I would describe as long term plans with a low rate of interest. First of all there is for a limited amount of time the option of investing a minimum of $250 in the first plan which pays a monthly interest rate of 10%. Just how long this offer is available for is unclear. On investments upwards of $10,000 the ROI is 12% monthly. There is also a weekly option available. For a minimum principal of $500, you will be paid 2.5% per week. Payments are made on business days (Monday through Friday).

I asked the admin about the high minimums and he offered me the explanation that as he is making genuine (but still unproven) investments in “stock, hedge and market trading” there are certain minimum amounts that are required. That much I know about but why then is the investor required to come up with these amounts when, according to the LloydFunds homepage, “If you invest with us, your money becomes a part of a huge pool of funds”?

Your principal is locked in for a period of one year and returned to you then. So definitely a long term program as far as HYIPs go. You will be allowed to pull out if you wish but expect a hefty cancellation fee of 25%. Quite a decent level of payment options are available here too. LibertyReserve, StrictPay, SolidTrustPay, PerfectMoney and AlertPay are all available which is a great selection for any HYIP. You also have the option of bank wire transfers.

Despite my misgivings about the plans being affordable (which I suppose is really up to the investor to decide anyway) I must say I am impressed by the efforts made regarding security. It’s hosted on a dedicated server which as most regular readers will know by now is always the first thing I check. It’s hosted by HushHosting who despite being relatively new in this business are growing in stature as the months go by. Newcomers in any aspect of this industry seem to need to work twice as hard as everyone else to establish themselves and Hush seem to have done just that in building their reputation as dependable service provider. I doubt there will be much reason for concern over LloydFunds susceptibility to the malicious DdoS attacks that seem to plague this business. Especially new programs.

The script is quite interesting too. It appears custom made but I have noticed it will not work for those who, like myself, prefer to use the Opera web browser. It works fine with other browsers though I can’t help but wonder is there some flaw in the design that prevents it from being used in Opera? I tried to raise this with the admin but have so far seen no progress. Otherwise there are some additional security features that I am very pleased to see. Including you getting the option of registering your IP address meaning that even if your username and password are compromised, hackers will still be unable to access your account. It can only be done from the computer you registered from. This option is not compulsory though, so those of you working from different locations (work, home, cafes, friends houses, or whatever) can continue to work as normal. It also rates the strength of your chosen password so as to encourage you not to make it too easy. Customer service and support is available in the form of a support ticket system in the members area. Frankly I would expect more from a site that charges so much to join. Telephone and live chat support for a start.

Overall my opinion of LloydFunds is one of optimism. But cautious optimism. The plans are perfectly sustainable in the long run, it’s all quite safe and secure, and judging by the advertising budget that they have quite clearly laid out so far I think it will be running for some time to come. No problem there but when you consider the cost of an investment here, the admin has a huge task on his hands in order to convince people to spend. If he wants people to consider it as a real investment and not just a leap of faith then communication and transparency will simply have to be two urgent priorities. People are just not throwing sums of money like that around anymore these days, and with good reason. I’m expecting to see slow growth on this one for a while, but in a way that will probably result in the program lasting a bit longer. No doubt many investors will be put off by the amounts required to invest, but if that’s not an issue for you, then I expect LloydFunds to be a slow burner. As usual as with every site I review, I strongly urge you to ignore any mention of your investment being guaranteed.

Other news for today.

Ok, guys! It seems the major downtime in Panama will no longer be a worry for those sites hosted by HushHosting. After just several hours all the sites came back online and seem to be ok and paying. The admin of probably the best manual surf around now Frankie (he’s managing ProjectSurf and the interview with him can be read here) sent out another update for all the members of his program. He talked about the level of members’ support and the plans for the future. Here is the latest update from ProjectSurf:

Although downtime the results are already incredible, I’m amazed. So read it quickly and don’t waste time because it’s a potential success. Let me tell you the positive side of this outage, specially for IEvolutionSurf. We stayed many hours offline, during this period members couldn’t signup, deposit, refer or even access the site. Many people tried to upgrade in IEvolutionSurf today and couldn’t because site was down. These people who tried will join the program later, it avoids many support in the first day and loss of audience in the following days. I have also prepared a strategic marketing campaign that will help the program to grow with stability.
Before today’s downtime I had already processed many pendings in the morning and completed them now, all payments are up to date.

Unfortunately I have to move StanCapital to Waiting status on my monitoring page. My last withdrawal request is in pending status since yesterday although all previous requests were paid quite fast. It’s bad that the program with such good potential and plans similar to those of InoFund turned into a scam just after a couple of weeks online. It seems the admin of StanCapital has absolutely no idea how to run a successful online program for several months but he knows all about quick scams. Another disappointment!

Another program which I joined a couple of weeks ago but decided to add to my monitoring page only today is StableInterest. The reason I was waitinf was because I simply didn’t quite understand the plans they are offering. StableInterest has allegedly been online since the year 2006 but the first mention about it on forums I found dated back to October 2008. So we know that any program can claim anything but the official launch we should consider the moment it started to become known to the general public. StableInterest claims to be investing money received from the investors (only LibertyReserve is accepted with $10 allowed minimum) into the trading futures in the sphere of energetics (solar energy and other alternative energy sources). Although this is a perspective field in my honest opinion StableInterest doesn’t substantiate their claims with any viable proof so we can skip this part as well. What we can’t miss is the fact that StableInterest is using the same script as NanoMoneyCorp, their domain is registered up till 2013 and they are hosted on a dedicated server. The website itself is quite good with a very professional layout with live support option and some news from about solar energy posted on the sidebar. The plans are also quite sustainable and it’s clear to me StableInterest is here for the long term: 36% in 30 days ($10 minimum), 102% in 60 days ($100 minimum), 264% in 120 days ($3K minimum) and 500% in 200 days ($10K minimum). The withdrawals can be requested daily, weekly or even monthly depending on the plan you choose. I’ll get into much more detail about StableInterest in my upcoming review of the program which will be published later this week.
