THIS PROGRAM HAS STOPPED PAYING! PLEASE DON’T INVEST!

Hi everybody! For today’s review I want to again stay on the subject of HYIPs. Today’s reviewed program though differs in many ways from the one I introduced yesterday which was clearly the work of professionals. NewDayInvestment however does need a little work and strikes me as a first time effort for reasons which I will get to in a moment. To the admin’s credit however, he does seem like an affable sort, easy to approach and open to suggestion. So I am prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt here as I guess everybody deserves a chance to prove themselves. I made no secret to him of the fact that I have a few misgivings about his program but if he chooses to put these issues to right then his program will definitely go up in the estimation of myself and many other more experienced investors.

And so starting with the plans. Basically there are two plans available but there are some variations in each. First off there is a long term plan that runs for 365 calendar days with payouts made daily on business days, ie Monday to Friday. There are three different levels of earnings available here. For the “Beginner” option you can deposit from just $1 to $100 and earn 2% interest per business day. For the “Adept” option you will need to invest from $101 to $299 and will then earn 2.2% per business day. And for those who want to spend $300 and upwards, you can join the “Master” option. For your investment you will receive 2.5% interest per business day.

If a full year seems a bit long to you and you prefer something closer to medium term then there is something for you here too. Especially as there is no mention of you being allowed to withdraw your principal before maturity in the event of an unforeseen emergency where you might need access to this money. This second program is somewhat less of a risk in this case. It runs for 60 days and also makes payments on business days with the following variations. For amounts from $10 to $200 you are offered a return of 1.1% per business day. And if you’d care to invest anything from $201 upwards you can earn 1.2% per business day.

As far as the plans themselves go they do have some merit. The figures overlap keeping both plans open to the maximum number of investors, and at $300 to get into the highest paying plan, OK, I know it ain’t small change but it’s not an outrageous amount like some programs might ask for. So it’s accessible to the maximum number of investors and offers reasonable returns. Ones that are at least achievable. And I also need to mention that your principal will be returned on expiry in both programs. But now unfortunately I must rain on the NewDayInvestment parade a little and mention the first problem I have with them. Only LibertyReserve is accepted as a payment option and despite still being (for now) the most popular single processor, this still isolates a huge number of potential investors. Particularly those in US and Canadian investors who can more often afford to invest that little bit more than most online investors but who tend not to favor LR. For those of you who have read through the NewDayInvestment site by the way, yes, I know they say they accept PerfectMoney, but in reality they actually don’t. And of course limiting your options to just one processor will cause some obvious problems if that processor ever has some downtime, as has happened with LR before.

Moving on to security, and I have to be completely blunt here, it’s simply not up to standard. And let me make it clear that I have expressed my worries to the admin before writing this review, so he is aware of the improvements I think he needs. The first problem I encounter is their claim to be on a dedicated server when this is clearly not true. It’s on a shared server and the admin explained this by saying his partner is actually responsible for this and will take care of it soon. We wait and see. The second major security issue I see is that they are using an unlicensed script. This was explained away rather frivolously with the claim that GoldCoders would not allow certain modifications to be made to lend a more original appearance to the site. Well I don’t see any significant difference from the unlicensed version and any “improvement” would be merely cosmetic anyway, and in no way worth taking such a pointless risk. On the plus side however is that they are using a secure SSL encryption, so you see it’s not all bad. Customer support is available only via an e-mail ticketing system.

So my conclusion? An average enough program that needs to take some security and payment issues a lot more seriously if it wants to compete with some serious players in this business, the likes of NovalexFinance for example, or GeniusFunds and PanaMoney. These are all quality long term programs being run professionally, making money for their members and taking it very seriously. With a program like NewDayInvestment however, after being online already for seven weeks I would have to rate your chances of making a profit as average. Nothing special unless some changes are implemented.

Other news for today.

Easter is coming soon and many programs are adjusting their payment schedules according to upcoming holidays. So GoldNuggetInvest (reviewed here) sent out another update today where a new payment schedule was announced and other important topics discussed inducing the appointment of regional representatives and changing the official forum of GoldNuggetInvest. You can read more about the exciting plans for the future for GoldNuggetInvest program (certainly the best HYIP for now) in my latest interview with the admin Robert Spearman published here. And for those who didn’t receive this latest update I suggest to read it carefully below:

We will be paying a fixed 2% interest on the following days to those participants in the Daily Variable program ONLY:
a. Thursday, April 9 (combined interest for Thursday, April 9 and Friday, April 10)
b. Tuesday April 14 (combined interest for Monday, April 13 and Tuesday, April 14)
The Weekly Fixed, Daily Variable Rollover and Weekly Rollover plans will continue to be paid at the agreed rate outlined in the plan descriptions. Any tickets or emails which seek to address the interest rates or otherwise will be promptly discarded without comment.
2. Withdraw/Payment Schedule
There will be NO withdrawal requests processed on:
a. Good Friday, April 9
b. Easter Sunday, April 11 (as usual on Sundays)
c. Easter Monday, April 12
If you are looking to withdraw before Easter it is most preferable your request is made on or before Thursday, April 09; although we will accept them as late as Saturday, April 11. The last withdrawals before Easter will be processed on Saturday at 5pm GMT. Out of respect for the GNI team, the sooner they are requested, the better.
3. The GNI/MCF Forum
MCF, the host of our GNI endorsed forum has ceased to exist. We are not aware of the details encompassing the rapid departure of MCF other than its impact on us and our trusted members. As we grow it has become overtly apparent we need our own forum to circumvent any extraneous factors with these unintended consequences. In the meantime we ask you to click on the following link: http://www.asamonitor.com/forum and visit our thread at the Asaforum. I will join the Asaforum as well early next week and will try my best to be around on a daily basis to help you out there, if questions arise other members might not be able to answer.

I must remind you all that the second best program on my monitoring page is SilverLodge which announced about going private in just one week. The admin of the most successful manual surf program ProjectSurf Frankie (interviewed here) warned about the admin of MaxShare who he says is tying to steal members’ money in ProjectSurf. Well, it only applies to those who had the imprudence to use the same password in ProjectSurf that they used with MaxShare. So let’s be careful and never use the same password in different HYIP and autosurf programs. Telling about the security is quite an important thing to keep your account in ProjectSurf safe and I’m glad that the admin of ProjectSurf exposed this disgraceful admin in his latest update which was sent last night:
Hello Everyone, It appears that some members that have accounts with the program maxshare.us have used the same password as their account with ProjectSurf and that sneaky admin at maxshare.us tried to phish other members accounts and is now caught red handed.
I am processing payouts manually and checking each account.. so if you are in maxshare.us please change your password at ProjectSurf if you used the same one.. I am checking all accounts and I have found 3 already that have this admins different AP addresses inside their account. The script is set up so that if a payment processor is entered inside your memebers area it cannot be changed but some members that had accounts with maxshare.us did not have AP accounts so they left that field empty and this sneaky admin put his in there using different e-mails.
This admin at maxshare.us is the sneakiest piece of garbage and he is a scammer… I notice on his homepage some members are in my program are also in his so I would advise that you use extreme caution with this admin… He is a snake!
I am not one to point fingers as I mentioned this awhile ago in a previous update and it took till now to find this scammer and be 100% sure of it.
I would love it for everyone to send this admin a e-mail and tell him what a scammer he is because of this I have to check all accounts manually and make sure that this scammer does not get a red cent from me or my members.
I will be the best out there and I will not let any scammer try to bring my program down or hurt any of my members!
He has the nerve to have a account with me which is now suspended. Please do not invest in this admins program – if he can try and scam the members of ProjectSurf he surely does not care about anyone! –
This only effected members that had an account with MAXSHARE.US and used the same e-mail and password in ProjectSurf and had no AP account address entered in their profile..( but I am on the look-out for all scammers trying to do the same thing if members used the same password in other programs and the admins are trying that too)

Those of you using PerfectMoney must be aware that starting yesterday PerfectMoney introduced a 0.5% fee for making internal transfers within the system. As you might know the fees were dropped during the whole year of 2008 and the first three months of 2009. This advantage was one of the major decisive factors which made many members switch from LibertyReserve to PerfectMoney. But every good thing must come to an end eventually and the promotional period when the internal fees were zero is over. Although fairly speaking the 0.5% fee is half that of the current 1% fee currently applied to LibertyReserve account holders. I guess the introduction of this fee will help PerfectMoney to stay competitive with other payment processors and introduce new innovations and useful changes to the system. Anyway, here is the latest from PerfectMoney detailing the reasons behind this unpopular decision:

Another popular payment processor SolidTrustPay announced their Easter schedule as well so be aware that their customer service may not work on Friday and Monday:

LibertyReserve is disappointing everybody again. It’s been up and down all day long which badly affected many programs that heavily depend on the cashflow from this payment processor. There is the latest update on their blog informing everybody that they are experiencing huge DdoS-attacks leading to the inaccessibility of the site in some parts of the world. I can confirm it by checking the accessibility of the site via a host-tracker service. So I guess we should just wait until the DdoSers will be tired of their attempts to ruin LibertyReserve‘s credibility or what is left of it. No offense but such frequent outages whatever causes them cannot be tolerated and eventually this can affect LibertyReserve‘s position at the top of payment processors pyramid. I feel that some changes are coming but will not tell you what I think yet. The situation is really unpredictable and what will be the consequences of this payment processors struggle for position and consequently money nobody can predict. We will just wait and see what happens. Here is the latest update from LibertyReserve:
We are experiencing a sophisticated DDOS attack. We, together with Prolexic, were able to successfully mitigate the attack, although some users might still have problems accessing our web site. We are working hard to make sure everyone will be able to access our web site. Thank you for your support.

Apart from 7Inv that turned into a scam (please don’t invest money there anymore) all the programs monitored by my blog are doing well and even despite LibertyReserve outages I managed to get paid today by the following programs: FinancialProfitsCorp, GeniusFunds, NovalexFinance, GoldNuggetInvest, SilverLodge, CashExplosive, NorthBizz, YenStock, Treckswana, OakCash, ComradeFinance, TradeContract, NanoMoneyCorp, UnionFunds, PanaMoney, AcrylicTrade, VentureFundsGroup, MesirowFinance, PrincipalReturn, Nexelim, FlowBroker, NewDayInvetsmentEdwardBrownInvestment, InfrastructureInv and AsianInvestGroup.
