Hi all! One of the better programs I have come across recently, certainly in terms of planning and organization, has been GearsOfProfit. And for today’s post I’m pleased to have an interview with Eric who’s the admin there. I gave him the opportunity to explain in more detail some of the workings of his program and this is what he had to offer us. A man of few words at times but don’t let that put you off. I suspect he has more experience in this business than he cares to admit but I don’t mean that in a bad way. It’s a pretty straight forward program with three extremely short term plans running for just one, two, and three days and paying out 103%, 108% and 114% on expiry respectively. For my own analysis of GearsOfProfit you can always check out my original review published here. But first let’s see what Eric has to say.

“1. Hi, please introduce yourself to the readers of MNO and tell us a bit about your own involvement in GearsOfProfit. Is this your first online venture? What other experience do you have in this Industry?

Hello MNO readers. My name is Eric. I’m an admin of GearsOfProfit project. I have been working as web-programmer over 5 years. Of course, I have good experience in running web-projects.

2. Can you also give us some background history on GearsOfProfit? Why did you decide to open your own program and what are you expecting to achieve by this? Are you alone or do you have a business partner or assistant?

Ok. This was an old idea to open my own HYIP. I spent a lot of time investigating the current situation in the HYIP arena and searching for software to run an effective, good structured site. The GearsOfProfit project was planned so as to be totally transparent for investors. Every investor can see full detailed statistics in real-time about all operations. I think this is good idea.

I have one partner who helps me promote the GearsOfProfit project.

At the moment a hundred payouts have been made, and a hundred new deposits have been accepted. Yes, the GearsOfProfit is a high ROI project, but I do the best I can to keep everything stable working for a long time.

3. On the broader subject of online HYIPs, can you explain how the process works to someone who may not be familiar with this industry? From the moment I decide to join GearsOfProfit to the moment I get my first payout, what happens? What do I need to do?

Yes, I can explain our own example of the GearsOfProfit project. Most projects are working like this. First you should create a new account in GearsOfProfit project to manage your deposits. Now you can make new deposits, request withdrawals and see other statistics of your personal account. To make the deposit you should select deposit plan and select the deposit amount. When the payment process will be completed you’ll see deposit in your GearsOfProfit account. You can see a date and time of expiration of your deposit. After your deposit has expired you will able to withdraw your profit to your e-currency account. Maybe it’s not a good example, but I hope that people understand that is how most HYIPs work.

4. What are the plans you are offering investors? What are the minimum and maximum amounts to spend? What payment processors are you currently dealing with? Are payouts automatic or do I need to request them?

There are three deposit plans available for investors:

103% after 1 day
108% after 2 days
114% after 3 days

Your principal is included in the profit, so you will get 3%, 8% and 14% of profit after 1, 2 and 3 day(s).

Minimum amount for each deposit is $5. Maximum amount for each deposit is $100 but you can make as many deposits as you wish up to a maximum of $3000. You can use different e-currencies for your deposits. We accept LibertyReserve, PerfectMoney and EvoWallet e-currencies. You need to request withdrawal after your chosen plan expires. You can request the full amount, you can request a partial withdrawal and reinvest the rest of your funds back automatically, or you can simply reinvest the full amount without withdrawal. Payouts are usually processed within 12 hours of your request. Only two requests daily are allowed and no payouts on Sunday and the minimum payout is a dollar.

Of course, the GearsOfProfit project also has a referral program. You will get 4% from all amounts deposited or reinvested by every referred member. Minimum amount for auto-payout is $1 and no maximum. Payouts are again processed daily except for Sunday.

5. I see you have an interesting method of eliminating hit and runners. Can you explain how that works? Do you think it could possibly be counter-productive by being unpopular with larger investors who otherwise had no intention of hit and running?

The methods is that the maximum amount of each deposit is reduced to $100 but you can make as many deposits as you wish up to a maximum amount of $3000. Only two withdrawal requests per day are allowed. Unfortunately I can’t eliminate hit and runners, but I think the methods implemented can reduce the most negative effect. To avoid hit’n’runner practice and improve stability of project, please note that to withdraw more than $50 (for any deposit) you should have a VIP account. To became a VIP you should have at least $250 of all active deposits. If you have $250 of active deposit you can always withdraw any amount. I hope that serious investors can understand. For all amounts (payouts requests) under $50 – NO RESTRICTIONS!

6. Typically, and I’m not suggesting this applies to you, short term high ROI programs tend to have a shorter life span than their longer term rivals. How would you respond to this? The longer you are online the harder it’s going to be to attract new members. How do you plan to counteract that?

I think the life span of high ROI projects is mostly dependent on the investors. If investors see stable work they reinvest their funds. Unfortunately I can’t fully reduce risks from hit and runners or payment processor system downtime, but I’ll do the best I can to keep the investors trust.

7. What about the security of the GearsOfProfit website? What steps have you taken to protect both yourselves and members from things like malicious hackers or identity theft? What about spyware and anti virus protection? Are you on a dedicated server and how protected are you from DdoS attacks?

The site software has several levels of protection from hackers. Some methods include not being able to change registered e-currency account numbers, every member can see IP addresses of all the successful attempts to login, the SSL cryptographic protocol for secured data transmission, protection by checksum of member account, IP filtering for Admin panel. Of course, other methods of protection are in use. Top anti-virus software is also installed on our work computers.

The site is hosted on secured dedicated server with powerful DDoS protection by BlackLotus (see verification seal in bottom of main page).

8. What advertising strategy have you been using to promote GearsOfProfit to date? How big a role have existing members played in this promotion? Are you satisfied with the level of growth so far?

We advertise on MMG, TG, DTM and on many other popular forums, on PTR/PTC sites. Of course on popular monitors such as hyip.com, goldpoll.com, hyipexplorer.com and on others. 9. What about the success of the program overall so far? Are you pleased with the level of growth to date? Can you give us any statistics on the amount of members and the total amount deposited? What are your expectations over the coming months? How do you plan to develop and improve in a very competitive business?

Yes, you are right. The HYIP arena does have a lot of different competitive projects, but I think GearsOfProfit has unique features which can give investors full information about project status. I’m sure it is very important.

10. What kind of customer service and support do you offer to investors? What are the most effective ways of getting in contact with you if I have questions or problems? Do you have live chat support? How often is that available?

We provide: support via the contact form on the site (24/7), live chat via Yahoo! Messenger (over 8 hours a day), and via MMG, TG and DTM forums (24/7).

11. I must say your program seems to be extremely well planned and organized. Better than average by some distance. What can you tell us about your previous knowledge and experience in the HYIP business? Not just as an admin, but from your personal participation in general. As an observer and as (I assume) an investor.

Of course, I invested in HYIPs earlier, but unfortunately many of them had poor statistics, so I could not see their actual status (such as cash flow).

12. With so many new programs coming online every day, what would be the one thing you would say to investors who are still undecided on which program to pick? What are the benefits of joining GearsOfProfit over any other program?

I think, GearsOfProfit has some very important features: full detailed statistics in real-time about all operations, secured site script, DdoS protection, and detailed referral statistics.

13. Finally what next for GearsOfProfit? What can we expect from your program in the short to medium term future? Will there be any changes or are you pleased with everything as it is? Will you prefer to concentrate simply on expanding the membership?

Well I guess the interview is a bit like the program, short and to the point, lol! But in reality I would have a reasonable amount in the ability of this program to survive a bit longer than similar short term ones. As I already mentioned at the start, my review, here, has a more detailed analysis on why I think so (so no need to repeat myself) but a lot of it comes down to the experience and planning from the admin which shouldn’t be underestimated. For now though, I’ll just say that if high risk short term plans is the area of this industry that you like best, then GearsOfProfit might be what you’ve been waiting for. And remember to play sensibly.
