THIS PROGRAM HAS STOPPED PAYING! PLEASE DON’T INVEST!

Hi guys! Well another week is about to start, but Sunday being Sunday is a pretty quiet day as usual on the news front. I guess HYIP admins like a day off too from time to time like the rest of us but there is still plenty going on in the industry to keep me occupied and I hope there is something of interest to you here today. The main point of today’s post however is to take a closer look at a new long term investment program called ArbsFund.

It’s the latest program to offer members a “perpetual” investment plan, by which I mean there is no expiry date. Once you join, that’s it. You stay a member and continue to pick up a weekly payout indefinitely. Or at least as long as the program survives. Although I wouldn’t go so far as to call this a growing trend or anything, the popularity of programs doing this is undeniable. Starting with GoldNuggetInvest there have been a couple of highly successful examples of HYIPs following suit. And who am I to complain? As long as these programs are managed with the skill and competency that we have come to expect from the likes of XagaEnterprise and SazaInvestments then let’s hope it continues. Will ArbsFund bring anything extra worth having in our portfolios? My guess is yes, they probably will. But let’s see what it’s all about first.

As the name ArbsFund may indicate, the program claims to be in the same line of business as GoldNuggetInvest, i.e arbitrage betting. We’ll get to my own opinion on that soon enough but I think we should start with the investment plans. Or should I say investment plan. There is just one of them you see and it really has no bearing how much money you would like to spend. You’ll be offered the same rate of interest no matter what. But it is pretty generous.

And it works like this: the minimum amount you can join with is $20. The maximum amount is $10,000. In return for that you will be paid a weekly interest payment of 8.5% per week. So for example if you were to invest $100 here you would be paid back $8.50 every week until the program closes. That means you will break even after 12 weeks and be earning pure profit from that point on. Payments are made seven days per week, so for instance if you join on Wednesday you can expect to be paid every Wednesday from then on.

And that’s it! Pretty straight forward I think you’ll agree, and with very little to leave you in any doubt. A couple of other points of interest include the rather excellent list of payment processors being included. You’ll find all the popular choices are available here including AlertPay, LibertyReserve, PerfectMoney, SolidTrustPay, and StrictPay. You are requested to allow up to 24 hours for your payout request to be processed. However you should also be aware that after you join ArbsFund there is no mention of any kind of an opt out clause at any time. So once you join, please work from the assumption that you will not be able to withdraw your principal.

The ArbsFund website itself is safe enough. It’s running off a script licensed from GoldCoders and it’s hosted on a dedicated server from Staminus, which is of course the best.

Contact with the admin for any support related issues can be done via the direct e-mail address provided. There is also a Live Chat function and if the admin isn’t actually logged in at the time you can still use it to leave a message. The other thing is that they provide a postal address in Belize which is where they claim to be a legally registered business entity. No evidence is offered of this however.

And unfortunately no evidence is offered either of their business activities. OK, so the cynical among you may say that GNI doesn’t publish that information either so what’s the difference. The difference is that GNI have been doing it for three years and have very little to prove to anybody. In the case of ArbsFund they do offer a sort of guide to what arbitrage betting is, what the risks are, and how it can be used to generate profits. That’s fine but on closer inspection I find that everything ArbsFund has to say is a direct, word for word, copy/paste of another website. Now in my opinion that by itself proves nothing but I think that if you are unable to provide a simple explanation of your own business in your own words then you’re either not doing it at all or you’re just not awfully good at it. Either way ArbsFund have a very long way to go before convincing me about their business.

The good news is though that approaching them purely as an online HYIP as I am, I think they’re actually OK. Their business model (weekly payments with no expiry) is beginning to catch on and there has been a lot of interest here. I can see it myself that they are getting more popular by the day and if nothing else that will ensure a good steady flow of cash through the site. If ArbsFund are still here in 12 months then I’ll happily reconsider my doubts about the authenticity of their business but for now I’d say they’re worth a couple of bucks as part of a diversified portfolio. And with a lot of investors I know leaning just a little too heavily towards short term programs at the moment, ArbsFund comes at a very welcome time to try and help you stabilize that portfolio.

As I said at the start there’s not so much news for today. Well, you should understand that being Sunday all the admins are probably all at church services. No doubt doing wonderful work for their community and chosen charity. Not everybody rested though as the admin of INSPremiumAds (reviewed here) Ubaid sent out a newsletter where he offered something different to his members and by different I mean managed ForEx accounts. The administration of AtlantisMutual (reviewed here) put a warning on their website about a program that was launched quite recently. The thing is that the admin of this new program partially copied the design and stole the texts from AtlantisMutual site. After that he even had the audacity to approach me for monitoring. Well, I refused to monitor him as I believe that such obvious scams don’t deserve to be monitored by MNO blog. One thing is to steal texts from open sources but it’s another thing entirely to steal from an actual paying website like AtlantisMutual. And guess what? This admin told me that his program had been online for one year and that it’s AtlantisMutual that stole texts from him. Well, that was a blatant lie and something I don’t tolerate as the domain of that program was registered only in November 2009. So the program couldn’t be more than a couple of weeks online while AtlantisMutual was online and paying since August. I have no tolerance for lies so I advise you to stay away from this cheap scam and its admin who is either just too lazy or too stupid to come up with an original idea for himself. This is what was mentioned in the latest update on AtlantisMutual website:

On the other hand I really like some unusual programs that stand out from the crowd and so today I’d like to present to you another short-term HYIP called OneInv. So what is so special about it you may ask? Well, the most interesting thing is the script which I haven’t seen before but which I definitely liked. The admin explained to me that it was a modified version of OroHYIP script which he himself (being a programmer in his day job) modified by making some changes to the security and set up an instant withdrawals feature. In addition, OneInv is hosted on a dedicated server with BlackLotus DDoS-protection which is quite a safe pick. The plans are sustainable in the long run and there are four of them on offer: 104% after 3 days, 110% after 5 days, 124% after 10 days, 150% after 15 days. The minimum to invest is only $1 only (so it’s affordable to everybody) and four payment processors are accepted: SolidTrustPay, StrictPay, LibertyReserve and PerfectMoney. OneInv was online for 4 days and I have some high expectations from this one. Anyway, we will wait and see if I’m right. The review of OneInv will be published on my blog soon so stay tuned for that!
