Hi guys! This weekend didn’t see much in the way of HYIP related news stories, but especially as we now enter December when a lot of you are getting a bit more cautious then I guess it’s only to be expected that this reflects on the industry. And on that subject one of the items in today’s news issue is the result of the MNO TalkBack poll asking your opinion on December in the HYIP industry, so keep reading to find out more. As well as the results of that poll I’ll also have another question for you to think about and share your opinion.

Some of the other topics I want to discuss with you tonight include BillionairesGroup now being a proven scam with the admin soliciting personal information from members while still not making any payouts. PokerByProxy‘s admin continues lying through his teeth by pretending to refund members, when in actual fact he’s just blocking accounts so he can keep whatever money is still left there for himself (but as this was already covered in my last update I won’t be repeating it in the news section below). Third, after four months online, FinMutual finally came to MNO with the admin asking for Premium listing last night. I’ll introduce the program before I finish for tonight with a more detailed look at it tomorrow.

TALKBACK – POLL RESULTS AND NEW POLL SUGGESTED

For the last couple of weeks I was asking my readers about their attitude towards what’s become known in the industry as “Black December” – a month traditionally considered to be a very unpredictable time for participating in new programs as being heavily influenced by fast scams run purely to steal as much as possible for the most dishonest admins pre-Christmas. Not everyone agrees with this however, and actually what was true of last December when circumstances were very very different (before the closure of LibertyReserve in May of this year) might not be true of this December. So here’s the results of the latest poll on your possible investment strategy for this month. The exact question by the way was:
Do you have a definite investment strategy in mind for between now and the start of 2014?

The clear leader here with 43% of the votes was the option that “December is exaggerated. I’ll be cautious, but will judge the market on a day-to-day basis.” I guess that basically demonstrates that most HYIP players willingly accept that participating in the industry in the first place is a form of gambling, and once they consider the chances of winning and losing are happy enough to play.

Coming in second place with 31% of the votes, readers gave the opinion “Without LibertyReserve and fewer short term programs online this December will not be as bad as previous years. I will invest as usual.” Well, there’s definitely no denying that there’s been a massive shift in the industry since this time last year, but just how this will affect the traditional cycle remains to be seen. We’ll have a better picture come January of course but fingers crossed this December will at worst be better than previous years.

And finally, the most cautious voters, 26% of you in fact, voted “December is always unstable. I will slow down or stop completely until January.” So at least there’s also still a healthy amount of skepticism out there too, with plenty of you waiting for hard evidence that the pre Christmas scams are less of a problem this year before actually believing it.

And so this brings me to the topic of this week’s poll – the end of the year so often brings about a feeling of reflection for the 12 months that just passed, and good, bad, or ugly there’s no denying that 2013 was certainly an interesting year for the HYIP industry. So how was it for you? If you think you had a bad year I sincerely hope you at least had a better one than LibertyReserve founder Arthur Budovsky, who’s facing pretty much the remainder of his natural life in prison. Doesn’t feel so bad to be a small time player after all, does it? So here’s the question:
How do you rate your personal experience in the HYIP industry during 2013?

The answers are, and as usual if something doesn’t correspond exactly to your own opinion just go with the closest one:
a) Positive. I’m finishing the year in a significantly better position than I started it
b) Neutral. I’m in close enough to the same position, (maybe at a small profit or loss)
c) Negative. My finances have suffered due to the HYIP industry over the last year.

As always thanks a lot to everyone in advance for voting. I hope you find it an interesting and worthwhile enough question to share your experiences with your fellow investors, and remember it’s totally anonymous anyway. Given the nature of the question and that it’s still only the first of December I’ll probably leave this poll up a little longer than the last one, so please think about it when you have a spare minute (it only takes a second to cast the actual vote itself) and I’ll draw the results probably closer to Christmas.

BILLIONAIRESGROUP – BEWARE! MOVED TO SCAM DUE TO NO PAYOUTS AND FRAUD ATTEMPTS!

Please beware that BillionairesGroup was moved to Problem status on MNO tonight. The admin used some technical issues as a smokescreen for delayed withdrawals. Payouts not only didn’t get paid, but he’s now asking members to send personal information with photo ID and proof of address to send out some non-existing debit cards. Is anyone that stupid to believe that an online ponzi like BillionairesGroup has anything to do with real investments or the strict financial regulations that would allow them to somehow issue their own debit cards? With the admin now trying his hand at identity theft, he seems unsatisfied with stealing just your money. I just hope no one really believed any of this and that no one sent him any personal info. BillionairesGroup therefore have no other place than Scam status on the MNO monitor, any other right thinking monitor for that matter, and would strongly suggest you sever all ties with the program as the admin is an out-and-out criminal with no shred of conscious whatsoever. Here’s his latest attempt to steal from you, though which he very conveniently forgot to send to me. Other members did receive it and were kind enough to forward to me so I could warn a bigger audience. Again, beware of BillionairesGroup and never send personal info to HYIPs no matter what they tell you:

BIG UPDATE
Dear Billionaires,
We wish to inform you that we are having some minor issues related to our script owners. These issues should be resolved no later than Monday. Everything will then return to normal. Please bear with us while we are busy working to serve you better.
Meanwhile, verification for the debit card begins on December 1st. Please email the necessary documents to verification@billionairesgroup.org. These include a Photo ID and proof of address. Better is not good enough; the best is yet to come.

FINMUTUAL INTRODUCTION

FinMutual was added to Premium listing on MNO last night. I’m not sure what took the admin four months to come to my monitor, but it’s here now now so I’ll have a more detailed look at it by tomorrow. For now I’ll just highlight the main features for you.

FinMutual only has one investment plan with several variations depending on the size of your deposit. This can start from a $25 minimum via all the popular payment methods including PerfectMoney, EgoPay, SolidTrustPay, PexPay, and BitCoin. Once you’ve funded your wallet in FinMutual you’re free to deposit in the plan, paying from 1.8% to 2.6% interest for a duration of 160 business days (Monday to Friday). Your original principal is already included in the daily earnings and therefore won’t be returned on expiry. Over the last four months online the first investors in FinMutual have profited nicely, but I sincerely hope that the program will survive Christmas and will enter 2014 on Paying status on MNO as well.

Despite its age, FinMutual might be seen as an interesting program to consider. The site runs off a licensed and quite expensive ShadowScript whose developer was also interviewed on MNO some time back (click here to read it). FinMutual has already an established record of prompt payouts to members, is SSL-secured by Comodo, and is hosted on a dedicated server provided by Noc4Hosts. More on FinMutual will be discussed in my upcoming review.
