13/02/09. Nova-Surf Review and Other News

Hi guys! Hope your all looking forward to the weekend. I have a few articles in mind that I hope you might find interesting so if you’re not too busy I hope you might be able check out money-news-online again at some stage and have a look. But first things first though. For today’s review I want to get back to autosurfs. More specifically a recently launched surfing program called Nova-Surf. I have had my eye on this one since it launched a few days ago on February 9. I was impressed with the potential of this one from the start. I kinda put off reviewing it for a couple of days due to there being a couple of technical flaws to be ironed out. But when I contacted the admin, Irina, about it I must say she was very helpful and quite pleasant to deal with. So it seems NovaSurf is back to business as usual now, so time for that review.

So we’ll start with what most of you want to hear first. The plans. Or rather the plan. There is just the one as Nova-Surf does not offer the non-surfing option available from so many autosurfs now. I don’t really mind that though as I’m not an enormous fan of it personally. What is on offer here though is the chance to earn 10% daily on your investment for 14 days. In return for which you will need to surf 10 sites per day. That’s a total payout of 140% and will be paid on expiry. The minimum amount to spend in Nova-Surf is $10 dollars for one ad pack. More expensive than most autosurfs but hardly beyond the reach of most people who have daily access to a computer either. The maximum number of ad packs you can buy is 5000, or $50,000 worth. At the moment there are three payment processors accepted which are LibertyReserve (as usual) as well as StrictPay and the most recent addition of AlertPay. I believe there may be others to follow. You are asked to allow 48 hours for payments to be processed, but I think it’s fair to expect them a lot faster at this early stage.

The first thing that may strike you about that plan is that at 14 days it runs slightly longer than the typical autosurf. A minor drawback for some perhaps, but not without some advantages either. It may in fact just contribute to the long term stability of the whole thing and at the end of the day that has to be considered a major advantage for all members. Another advantage, not to mention a strong motivational factor to get more involved, is a three tier system of referral commissions. 6% for your first level referrals and 2% each for the next two. That means you can make an extra 10% for yourself if you can make an extra effort to get more involved with the promotion. And why not? It is in the best interests of all members to do so. Unlike your investment returns, ref commissions are paid daily.

The script being used by Nova-Surf is Neversay which must be the almost universal choice among autosurfs by now. It’s also being hosted by CIF Hosting. It’s not actually a dedicated server. But the quality of hosting and DDoS protection offered by them is quite reasonable and I know that should the need arise Nova-Surf can be moved to a dedicated server by them easy enough. But for now Nova-Surf shares its server with the CIF hosting site itself so I think it’s in good enough hands. Certainly I expect nothing that can’t be easily remedied to happen them.

My overall experience with Nova-Surf has been a positive one to date. Albeit still in its infancy, the admin has made her intentions clear. She seems determined to run an efficient and professional program with a high level of customer support. And this should never be underestimated. It’s the members that make or break any autosurf and it is essential to look after their interests first and foremost. As a famous cartoon character one said “the customer is always right, that’s why everyone likes us!” There has also been quite an effort made to promote this program so if anything this would be another indication of their long term ambitions. Just to remind that there are no guarantees in this industry and not to spend what you can’t afford to lose. Keeping that in mind you should then be able to plan a successful and profitable relationship with Nova-Surf.

Other news for today.

URInvest program (reviewed here) is still holding off on AlertPay and SolidTrustPay joining the program. I myself don’t understand why it takes the admin such a long time to add AP and STP. Although testing the script thoroughly might be one of the reasons why the introduction of new payment processors are being delayed. I will let you know on my blog when they are added to URInvest but meanwhile you should read this latest update from the admin:

We received several reports from users on that their withdrawal requests are missing. As we can see different people have different celebrations: some commemorated Charles Darwin yesterday, others like to watch horror movies on Friday, the 13th others prefer to have a romantic dinner on Valentine’s Day tomorrow. Serious programs like TrecInvest (reviewed here) prefer to celebrate Presidents’ Day because of their involvement in trading in American markets. So be aware that no profit will be credited on Monday as their London office will be closed on that day. TrecInvest is certainly the next big thing among low-ROI HYIPs which London address I’m going to verify in March. Anyway, the profit is being paid quite fast so far and the communications from the admins are top-notch. This is what they had to announce regarding the coming holiday:
“Holiday Announcement – Presidents’ Day – February 13, 2009
US markets will be closed in observance of Presidents’ Day on Monday, 16th February 2009.
For TrecInvest office closed on Monday, there is no daily interest payout. Investors will be able to request withdrawals as usual, it will be processed within 12 hours.
TrecInvest will resume paying daily interest on Tuesday, 17th February 2009.
There will also be a scheduled server maintenance tonight later by TrecInvest‘s hosting provider and hence might be a short disruption in TrecInvest website, kindly please be noted.”

AcrylicTrade though being a very new program which launched only a couple of days ago has already attracted some attention not only from investors, but from spammers and paid voters as well. Despite the first payouts that have been processed already the unannounced war has already begun. This is the email I received from AcrylicTrade administration recently:
“Some paid bad voters try to damage our program. We request all monitorings admin to remove their votes and ban their IP address.”
Sometimes I really appreciate the fact that voting is not allowed on my monitoring page. This thing will certainly help eliminate bad voters and spammers. Remember that if you have any issues with payouts in any program I monitor just contact me at abramsonp@gmail.com and provide the proof that you have not been paid. I will check it with the program’s admin and if the fact of non-payment is confirmed the program will be placed to Problematic status on my monitoring. I think it’s very simple and efficient approach that lacking on some other monitoring sites.

Yesterday it seems that discussion on my blog regarding Z-Finance gave way to some more thoughts from my readers which came to my email address as well as was poured out in my shoutbox. I must say that some DD on the programs can really have a very negative affect on them and even cause their closure. That happened with such programs as CadillacVentures and Z-Finance. On the other hand, I have no idea why those programs continue to put false information and registration documents which can be easily verified with government officials of the countries they are claiming to be registered with. So if you as an admin put any false info on your site I suggest you should take full responsibility for any bad consequences it may have on your program once your lies are exposed. There are some reasonable questions that may appear from the info you yourself put on your site.

Let’s have a closer look at the recently reviewed 4BrothersInvestments program (read the review here). As you might remember I suggested that despite of their assurance that “4 Brothers Investments Ltd is authorized and regulated by the Financial Services Authority of the Cook Islands” I doubted this info very much. So I decided to contact the official representative of the Cook Islands where 4BrothersInvestments is allegedly registered. Well, as I expected such a company doesn’t exist in the Cook Islands. This is the official reply I got from Mr. Ngametua Arakua who is employed by the Financial Supervisory Commission of the Cook Islands as Registrar of International and Foreign Companies:
“Dear Paul, Thank you for your inquiry. Firstly we in the Cook Islands don’t have a Financial Services Authority. We are the Financial Supervisory Commission. Secondly I have no registered international company by the name of 4 Brothers Investments Ltd which means there is no such international company registered here in the Cook Islands. I hope this will assist you.”
This means that 4BrothersInvestments is lying about their registration. I don’t know if this lie will affect the program’s performance which is still paying by the way. But anyway I would advise you to exercise extreme caution when you’re dealing with liars. I had a clear vision regarding 4BrothersInvestments that it was just another ponzi-game pretending to be a real financial venture but now when their lies are exposed I’m not sure for how long they will stay online. Sorry, but I will not be concealing any information I find out from my readers even if it can negatively affect a program. Again, in my opinion the admins of the programs should take the responsibility for what they are putting on their sites and avoid the lies.

It seems that NordicMutualFunds is having some problems with the script again. My account wasn’t credited for a couple of days already and the admin of the program seems not to be contactable. I have no choice but to move NordicMutualFunds to Waiting status on my monitoring page until the script issues are fixed and the program is back on track again. Anyway, it seems there is really some hope that the problem will be solved soon as I just noticed the following warning on NordicMutualFunds site: “We are upgrading our script at the moment so your daily interest might not be added on time.”

I also have to move BigBangSurf to Not Paying status today for the reasons that were already was discussed on my blog a couple of days ago. Other programs seem to be doing well and paying.
