12/03/2010. HarmonicMarket Review and Other News

Hi guys! I get a lot of e-mails from time to time asking my opinion on various programs not covered on MNO. Typically I can’t really comment on what I don’t monitor (I simply haven’t the time) but over the last number of weeks I’ve noticed more of you than usual have been asking about a short to mid term HYIP called HarmonicMarket. Call it bowing to public opinion if you will but it did look quite interesting so I decided to add it to my listing a couple of days ago. And today, as I sit on a train from Toulouse to Marseilles, I would like to have a closer look at some of the features.

There are a series of three plans available from HarmonicMarket, all of which last for 30 days. The first thing I noticed about them is that they accept Euro deposits as well as dollars. Not exactly unique but every other program I have seen that takes Euros usually does so at a ratio to dollars of a flat 1:1. Not so with HarmonicMarket so if you prefer to use the currency of the revived Roman Empire then pay close attention.

The plans themselves are referred to as “blocks” and work along the lines of selling you individual units at a certain price each rather than you deciding on a specific amount. For example, if the price of one block is $25 then you may only invest in multiples of that, i.e $25, $50, $75, and so on. Those of you who enjoy autosurf programs will be a bit more familiar with the concept.

So the first plan we come to, Block A, sells shares for a price of either $25 or €20 each. There is no stated maximum number of shares you can buy, but obviously you need to keep it at a sensible level. But whatever you decide, you will be paid 3.7% interest on your deposit per day for 30 days. Your principal is already counted there so it will not be returned at the end. So in practical terms it will take you 28 days to break even and you should finish the plan with a total return of 111%.

Next is Block B. Unit investments here are priced at $500 or €400 each with no stated maximum for the number of units you may buy. The plan runs for 30 days, during which HarmonicMarket offers you an interest rate of 4.4% per day. With your principal already factored into these payments you may expect to break even after 23 days and finish the term with a total return of 132%. As an added incentive to the big spenders out there HarmonicMarket are, for a very limited period, offering a bonus in this plan. If you pay for three Block B units you will receive an extra four units in Block A free of charge. Offer expires March 24.

The third plan, Block C, also runs for 30 days. You can only invest here in units priced at $3000 or €2400 each. HarmonicMarket offers you 5.1% interest per day here meaning you break even after 20 days and finish the term with a total return of 153% which includes your principal.

Now I know the above interest rates may not sound all that appealing compared to the returns offered by other HYI programs with similar length plans, and I also know that high and fast returns are what most folks are looking for in this business. But what HarmonicMarket lacks on that front it more than makes up for in terms of longer term stability which has to be considered as well. They may not pay you as much as their competitors, but they are more likely to pay you for longer.

Some other points you need to be aware of concerning the plans is that compounding is allowed and you will be asked to set the rate to 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100%. Or of course you may also choose to ignore this and set it zero, the choice is yours. I need to warn you however, that the admin has set the default setting for compounding to 100% so you will end up doing it whether you want to or not. Please remember to re-set this to zero when you are making a deposit.

The program is unfortunately let down by the dismal choice of payment processors. Or should that read lack of choice, as HarmonicMarket so far only accepts one option which is LibertyReserve. Granted they’d be the single most popular option anyway but I know enough of you would also rather avoid them. That will be the admin’s choice but if it isn’t dealt with soon then it will only serve to limit the appeal of a program that really deserves to do better. If that’s a problem for you then keep an eye on my blog and I’ll let you know if the situation changes.

By the way, one curious feature to HarmonicMarket is the offer of suggested investment strategies. If you have a certain amount of money to spend but are unsure about just how to spread it between the plans, then the site has a feature that will suggest the most suitable spread for you as recommended (one assumes) by the admin. But it’s just a suggestion. You are as ever free to take or leave any advice as you see fit.

The HarmonicMarket website was quite an eye-opener I thought, and probably the most interesting thing about the program as a whole. BlockDos are the hosting provider and are keeping HarmonicMarket on a dedicated server. It’s the script however that really stands out for me. It’s totally unique and custom designed and looks like some of the popular online shopping websites where you add items to your basket, review your purchases to make sure everything is in order, and then proceed to checkout. Quite an interesting approach from an online HYIP to say the least.

HarmonicMarket also has its own integrated forum where members can raise any questions with each other or just discuss a broader range of topics relating to the program. That’s not the only way to contact the admin however. There is the usual support ticket form on the contacts page as well as a direct link to the admins e-mail address if that’s what you prefer. Live Chat is also available so you can get your questions answered in real time when an operator is available. Telephone support (of sorts) is provided as well, however you are unlikely to actually speak with anyone. A phone number is provided but only as a voice mail messaging service.

And finally HarmonicMarket is also using SSL encryption to protect their member’s accounts.

The texts are original, just about everything about HarmonicMarket is, though I still prefer to take any claims about their adventures on the global stock markets with a liberal pinch of salt. Stories with any substantiated evidence are to be treated with no more than curiosity when it comes to handing over money as I sure you are all well aware. But despite the fact that the program is running for the last two months I think the low rate of interest keeps HarmonicMarket remaining a viable option for online HYIP players. Plus it’s one of the most unique and interesting sites around right now.

They claim to make money on the stock markets and give some kind of information about that on the website along with non-disclosure agreement that disallows them from giving the full names of their traders due to security issues. Anyway, this information can hardly be verified and you should take it with a liberal dose of salt. Of course I will ask the admin of about that if he agrees to give an interview to MNO later.

OTHER NEWS FOR TODAY.

Not long after I published on my blog last night about the PTVPartner script issues that caused some downtime on the site it was back to normal. It seems there were some database issues causing some disruption with the requested amounts some of which were canceled (the ones affected by the database loss). So the admin of PTVPartner Garrett (interviewed here) asked everybody whose cashout was canceled to resubmit it by sending a support ticket with all the necessary information needed to manually verify your cashout. Here is what you should do in order to receive your canceled payout (if you have one as some accounts were not affected at all):
“Earlier we had an error in an update to our script that affected your withdraw.
We have canceled your withdraw.
We need you to create a support ticket with the specifics of your canceled withdraw including:
the date of request
the exact amount of request
the request ID
the payment processor you requested to (LibertyReserve, StrictPay, PerfectMoney or GlobalDigitalPay)
Once you send the support ticket we will rectify the problem in you account.
Garrett”.

Apart from this small glitch PTVPartner is still doing well and paying on four investment plans (110% after 10 days, 125% after 20 days, 145% after 30 days, 190% after 40 days) for over 6 months already with absolutely no issues. I can see no troubling signs so far and expect PTVPartner to successfully last for another six months as well. Due to its high-quality performance PTVPartner has already reached the #3 spot on my monitoring page and keeps climbing. There is definitely no competition to them if you compare the level of communication from the admin and the team of support moderators in the chat room. Garrett himself tries to update the members regarding any changes and upcoming events on a daily basis and usually he and his team are very fast and efficient with handling any issues you might have and answering all questions in detail during the investors meetings. By the way, please note that even if you see some incorrect amounts in your history of recent withdrawals don’t sweat as it will not affect anything other than the previous cashouts which have been fulfilled previously. The current withdrawal requests are still working fine and are being processed on time. In the latest newsletter to the members the admin of PTVPartner Garrett told us in detail about the problem yesterday, and also the regular sections of the newsletter like Blog article of the day and Joke of the day. We are continuing to work to correct this somewhat inconsequential error.

The admin of XagaEnterprise Kevin (interviewed here) gave us the latest stats about the allowed amount to invest before the program goes private (will be closed for new investors and deposits for the time being). According to him after yet another $30K is deposited the investment button will be closed. So if you are still considering investing in XagaEnterprise (reviewed here) which has reached #5 on MNO you should do so now or within the coming days as I believe this target will be reached pretty soon. Another program from my top 10 which is showing simply amazing results after being online for nearly one full year is Verifield (reviewed here). It reached #6 in MNO’s rating and rightly so. I’m glad to report that it seems GeniusFunds is catching up with their pending payouts slowly but surely as I have received all three of my pending payouts to LibertyReserve today. Moreover, many MNO readers reported to me that they had been paid as well. I sincerely hope that by Monday they will pay to everybody and those script issues will be a thing of the the past. So far GeniusFunds (reviewed here) has been the best performer and I hope it will stay this way despite the current obstacles.

CSMFinance (reviewed here) updated their performance page with new trading results allowing them to pay high profits to their investors on 1.7%-2.1% for 200 days with the principal returned on expiry. The long-anticipated newsletter from GNI came out today where the admin Robert again explained the reasons behind the collapse and gave detailed instructions on how to proceed with requesting a refund which will be paid within a 30 day period beginning from May 15. That’s two months after applications will start to be accepted by a specially created support desk dedicated exclusively to the refund process. Every member not in profit should receive a 101.5% refund soon and the order on how it will be done is discussed by Robert in the following email. At this point the future of GNI is unclear and if I have more news I will let you know on my blog. I continue to have the deepest respect for Robert who despite the naysayers continues to put his members first. Hey, it’s the HYIP industry guys where refunds are as rare as the flowers in the Sahara desert. So we should really appreciate the efforts GNI are putting into this which hopefully will be completed within the promised timeframe. I just don’t get Robert’s remark about the charities and the non-willingness of the members to help others by making donations. It was stated that only about 5% of GNI members donated. However, I must admit that if those charity sites had been less, well, questionable and were not selected so dubiously (there are many internationally recognized charity organizations around the globe) I’m sure there would be more people willing to donate. So I honestly can’t see how the members can be blamed for that. Otherwise, I fully support the latest news from GNI and would appreciate if MNO readers not in profit (which is very few of you) reported to me after they receive their refund. After that happens no one can deny that GoldNuggetInvest has been an honorable program that lasted for a long time and finished on a very positive note. Consistent with our announcement earlier this week, GNI has closed its operations and a call to our traders has been made advising them to send forward the funds required to ensure our members who are not in profit, will be made whole.
I have taken some time to go through the forum to not only read, but digest some of your comments made to me, at me or about me (and the GNI Team).
Some of what was written, given the level of effort, work, time and resources; taken from me, my family and my life, with the often stated intent to help those people try to have a better life, has been EXTREMELY difficult to endure.
I have been called a liar, cheater, thief and many, many other fine names because the program cannot sustain itself in its current state.
Our restructuring came too little, too late. The reason for this was simple. I wanted, to overcome the adversity without having to modify the program. We were led to believe the funds which were frozen, would be released. Had they at any time up until the end of December, we wouldn’t be having this discussion now.
I gave all of you, EVERY SINGLE member in this project, 100% of my best effort. It wasn’t enough; and because it wasn’t, we are considered by many of you, who have made thousands, tens of thousands of dollars; to be disingenuous, evil, liars, and whatever else you feel like lobbing at me.
Instead of counting your blessings and your good fortune, you have become spiteful.
I would appreciate for a moment if we could reflect on something that has been the motivating factor that drove GNI to its one-time pre-eminence of the on-line investing community. What I am referring to was the call to arms we made during the Holiday Season.
Since early fall, we made very clear the need for the GNI Family to share some of their good fortune with two charities selected on the basis of need and impact we could make as a cohesive group. In December, when it was time, we made it easy for all to participate. It was our opportunity to proclaim our concern, not just for financial gain but to help those who were unable to help themselves, orphaned children in Africa, or those stricken with AIDS.
The total turnout, 4.5% !!!
For those of you who struggle with math, it means, despite our requests for your help, 5 out of 100 GNI participants stepped up to help others. Ninety-five out of one hundred (95 out of 100), did NOT. Some had your own causes that you supported, but the majority of you DID NOT.
Given these statistics, I am compelled to ask those of you who feel I am less than honest, have you taken a moment to look at yourself? When I asked for your help, not for myself, but to help keep children from starving to death, where were you? What have you done for your fellow man?
2. Time-Frame for the Liquidation of GoldNuggetInvest.
To conclude GNI in a manner that is both timely, but will allow for those members who are out of contact, or otherwise unable to establish communications with any GNI associate, Applications for Refunds will be accepted until May 15th, 2010. We’ll start accepting applications as from Monday, March 15th, 08:00 GMT. Before that date and time the given link for the refund support desk will be disabled.
We believe we can reconcile and refund the bulk of the undisputed refund requests within thirty days after the May 15th, 2010 deadline. Much will depend on the GNI member to properly complete the refund application in an organized and honorable fashion. Let it be known, any member who tries to obtain funds in a manner that is fraudulent, will have his or her refund placed at the end of the stack and will be gone through when all else is completed. An evaluation will be conducted and a decision to return any funds will be made at that time.
It is our intent to refund all of those customers entitled to receive one. Please DO NOT jeopardize our obligation and your right to receive funds you are entitled to.
3. New Support Desk Dedicated to Refunds Only
To better stream-line communications between the membership (who is entitled to a refund) and GNI, a new Support System will be installed on the same server which hosts the Forum.

This is self explanatory.
Assuming there are no significant discrepancies, those funds in which there is an agreement will be:
1. Verified
2. Re-checked and confirmed
3. Submitted for payment
If there is a disparity between what claimant thinks is owed and what GNI think is owed, it will not hold up the payment of funds. For example, claimant submits a Request for a Refund totaling $35.00, GNI completes their review but finds that claimant is owed $25.00, not the 35.00 as submitted. GNI would authorize payment on the undisputed 25.00. Upon conclusion of all payouts, GNI would then take a further review, with claimant and attempt to resolve the matter. It is not anticipated there will be any open claims after concluding this liquidation.
5. GNI’s Future
It is now often asked, what will become of GNI? At this juncture, all that is important to know is there will be a GNI. It will consist of a group of clients who know honesty when they see it and integrity when they feel it and an opportunity when they smell it. Not often does a situation like this come along. Only serious investors welcome.

I have added another program to my monitoring today. It’s called Bunder & Joshy Investment Fund, or simply BJInvestment. The program just launched yesterday and features quite a decent design, running off a licensed GoldCoders script and is hosted on a Staminus dedicated server with DdoSWiz DdoS-protection with a seceure SSL-certificate by Comodo. The minimum to invest in BJInvetsment is $10 and the payment processors accepted are LibertyReserve, PerfectMoney and AlertPay. BJInvestment is a medium-term program with the following plans on offer: 5.1%-7% for 30 days (the rate of interest depends on the amount invested and the principal is not returned) and 3.3% for 40 days (with $501 minimum and principal returned on expiry). More about the plans and the program itself will be in the upcoming review published on MNO after I receive my first payout from the program.

The second program I have added today was suggested to me by one of my readers who was pretty impressed with the performance of one particular HYIP called Oico which has been online since November 2008 (!). This was a really impressive lifetime for any HYIP, even for one that offers only low-ROI plans of 1.8%-2.2% for 150 business days. Please note that your principal is already factored into the daily payouts and will not be returned after expiry. The minimum to invest in Oico is $10 and you can do it via all the popular payment processors including LibertyReserve, PerfectMoney, AlertPay, SolidTrustPay and StrictPay. As you can see the choice is pretty good. Oico is hosted on a dedicated server with DdoS-protection by DdosLock and is running off a licensed GoldCoders script meaning you should request your withdrawals manually and can choose any level of compounding to increase your profits. I still think that 170% pure profit after 150 business days is more than enough and considering the lifetime of the program I can tell you that it’s pretty stable and reliable already. A full review of Oico will be published on MNO next week so stay tuned for that.
