21/11/08. TrafficAlmighty Review and Other News

Today I want to review a new program from an old admin. The program is TrafficAlmighty and the admin is one that should be well known to many of you. He is Tysin, a veteran admin with many online ventures under his belt, and a well known figure on several forums. The debate on his merits as an admin is already getting pretty lively, but I will comment on that later. First I want to give a totally neutral review of the program itself. I will then discuss if one should actually join it.

Uptake of the program has been brisk to say the least with around a thousand members after the first week. And what’s on offer to these members? Well, TrafficAlmighty offers to pay 13% for 11 days in return for you surfing 25 sites. That’s 143% in total so quite similar to the popular 12% for 12 days plan. Except this one pays out a bit faster. It’s an automatic regime, with payouts being made on expiry. The payment processors of choice are AlertPay, SolidTrustPay, and LibertyReserve with a minimum investment amount of just $3. The Maximum allowed is $5,000. Each ad cluster will set you back $1, which you need to deposit to your balance and then upgrade. And this part is important. It’s an internal process within the site where you deposit first, and then buy your desired upgrade. If you neglect to do this, your deposit will just sit there not working for you. And if you miss a day’s surfing? You don’t lose a day’s earnings as expiry is not until the ROI reaches 143%. Just a quick word on referral commissions. So-called “free members” get 1% on the ad packs bought by their referrals, while upgraded members will earn 4%.

The security of TrafficAlmighty site is something of a gray area to me. The script is decent enough, the same as AggeroInvestment in fact, and it is on a dedicated server. But I really know nothing about the hosting provider because I’ve never heard of them before. So I can’t really comment on that for now. That is an issue I would like to pursue with Tysin, should he agree to take part in an interview with me soon. I’m sure it’s OK, but everybody likes a bit of peace of mind when it comes to things like that.

Overall TrafficAlmighty program is quite a good one. It’s a solid, dependable model, which, if managed competently and responsibly, has the potential to see us all do rather well from it. And so that brings us to the somewhat thorny issue of the admin. He has a large number of both admirers and detractors and the debate between them is nothing if not vociferous. He does have quite a long track record in online investment programs, that much can’t be denied. But to be honest, it’s a pretty abysmal one. While some other blogs have displayed a shocking level of amateurness and downright irresponsibility by shamelessly promoting it without any due diligence, I prefer to examine the facts first. And the facts are pretty damning. Let’s have a look.

CouncilOfGold was a previous project from which almost nobody saw a profit. Nobody except Tysin that is. It offered 165% after 10 days or 15% daily for 10 days. Except it closed after 9 days. Payments were never processed and only those who joined on day one but never re-invested saw even a slight profit. Token refunds were made, but nothing substantial. One man who lost $680 was offered a rather insulting $25. And Tysin’s reaction to this? He accused the man of a lack of gratitude and suggested withdrawing the refund altogether.

This was followed just two days later with ProfitSharePro. Beating his personal best, this one closed after just six days. Again selective refunds were paid but only to the admin’s online friends and supporters, i.e those most likely to fall for his next get rich quick scheme. There are others, but I think you get the picture. He was last heard from almost exactly two years ago around this time. The thing is that he does seem to prefer opening these programs in the period leading up to Christmas. And here we are again, just four weeks before the holiday season with another program from Tysin.

So the million dollar question is this: Would I invest my own money in TrafficAlmighty? The answer is yes. But a qualified yes. First of all, because of the fast closure of some of his previous ventures, sometimes before the first payouts were ever made, I would urge caution. Wait and see if indeed the payments are actually made. Then be aware of the fact that hit’n’runners seem to be the most likely ones to make money from his programs and it is a strategy I would have to at least consider.

To finish I would just like to remind anyone who may not agree with my thoughts here, that everything I have said is a matter of fact, and freely available if you make a little effort to search public records and forums.

Other news for today.

I would like to start today’s news by addressing some concerns raised by the members of DailyProfitPond. It seems their support service wasn’t working too well for the last couple of days. Some upgrades were missing for a while and some payouts were delayed. All this caused some troubles for several members that started badmouthing DailyProfitPond administration on forums. Finally, it seems that every issue is resolved now and I hope it will not be repeated in the future. Here’s what the admin of DailyProfitPond (reviewed here) had to say:
“All pending withdrawals have been paid for the day.
A few of our members have entered wrong withdrawal details; as such, we’re unable to fulfill their withdrawals. Some members have entered email addresses on withdrawal details for LR and STP instead of their correct LR or STP user ids
For such withdrawal request, we have refunded the funds back to your account. You may therefore withdraw again and please do ensure that your withdrawal details are correct.
Also, it is important to note that you can only withdraw to the payment processor you have used to place your purchase. If you purchase using LR, you get paid with LR. Else if you purchased using AlertPay, you will get paid with AlertPay.
Again, as a rule all withdrawals are honoured within 48hrs to 72hrs except Saturdays and Sundays!
Thanks for your membership at the pond of profit as we work toward our 5,000 membership base.”
Apart from these issues it seems that DailyProfitPond is growing nicely and paying on time. I received the following newsletter from the administration yesterday which shed some light on the program’s success and touched on the missing upgrades issue:

Missing upgrade Issues:
Although we have STP, StrictPay, LR, and AP upgrade automated but we still have some rare situations of upgrades not reflected on members areas. Due to server errors some upgrade don\’t automatically reflects on the members account. If this affects you, please use the support ticket form to contact us and please include the following in your ticket:
(i) Payment processor type.
(ii) Your username and payment id.
(iii) total Purchased profit spots.
(iv) Date purchase was made.
Finally, all upgrade payments are usually completed within 48-72hrs or earlier. WE always try to be on time.

Another autosurfing program called FastProfitSurf (reviewed here) is making bit of a splash now and growing by the day. After careful consideration the admin, Paul, decided to raise the maximum available for deposits from $10K to $30K and introduced a 30% cashout rule for all members with deposits over $10,000. I think it was a wise decision especially if you consider that it will give the FastProfitSurf program some additional funds and eliminate hit-n-runner problems at the same time. Anyway, I believe in Paul’s decisions and I honestly think he’s a sharp admin who knows what he’s doing. Here’s the latest update:
“After many requests from members I’ve decided to raise the maximum upgrade to 30.000$ instead of 10.000$ as it was before. However for preventing “hit and run” tactics I’ll have to put a 30% reinvesting rules for this which will be implemented probably tomorrow. I hope you’ll enjoy this“.

GigaLido (reviewed here) which is also paying 12% for 12 days is doing great as well and finally the admin’s account in AlertPay has been verified which allowed her to add it as an additional payment processor for the program:
“Today I have some great news, AlertPay is now added as one of our payment processors!”
In addition, the admin of GigaLido announced another contest that will end in a couple of weeks for the best review of the site. Don’t forget about the referral contest that is running currently as well:

The admin of AggeroInvestment Roger (read my interview with him here) also announced another contest that will be devoted to his program going private in less that a week. You still have a chance to sign-up and participate in this contest so don’t miss your chance. Here are the rules and the update from the admin:

SilverInvest program (reviewed here) is starting to accept new members for a limited time so there’s no need to ask me for a invitation code anymore. Today’s weekly rate was only 4% but I hope the next weeks will be more profitable. Anyway, SilverInvest is now offering a special plan for VIP members and the admin outlined it in his latest update sent out to all members:

8DailyForever site (reviewed here) is back online after prolonged downtime. It seems it is not accessible to everybody yet but I can load it fine and already surfed for today. Everything was smooth and if you still have some difficulties with loading the site please be patient and I’m sure all will be ok soon. Anyway, the admin of 8DailyForever Susan recently posted quite a long but also an important update on her blog informing everybody about what happened recently. You should definitely read this update if you are a member as it concerns some current issues which I’m sure Susan will fix soon:

Through the night the encryption that had caused the server problem was removed , and now the new servers are operating as expected……fast and smooooooth! Folks, we were almost a full week offline, or “up and down”. Together we have faced many challenges……..upgrades not going through due to STP issues; my inability to process payouts for 3 days due to the crippled server; your inability to login to the main site. When I finally logged into the database this morning I was almost overcome by the sheer enormity of all that needs to be accomplished these next 2 days to catch us up!!!! 1) Unless you have support needs that are VERY urgent, please hold off emailing us for a couple of days so our work can be done in the database. (Please check your account first though, as I have just upgraded at least 60% of you !)
2) No need to tell us that you have a day’s surf holiday still missing! Charlie added surf holiday for the 17th and 18th. The 19th cannot be added till tomorrow, when the system “rolls over”!! (Remember that the system will only add a surf holiday for the days you were unable to surf. We have an incredibly smart system!
3) AlertPay seems to be running slowly, and if you are able to accept funds/payouts into STP for the next day or two, it would speed up your payout. Please make sure your STP username is added to your account.
4) We don’t want to remove the Lucky 13 if at all possible, as we know how many of you love this plan. However, members have asked which plans would most help us continue as a strong program in spite of this huge server challenge that put an almost “full stop” to our incoming funds for almost a week. Here they are folks: Plans 1, 2 or 3. We will also add a new longterm lower %age plan to give you yet one more option. Additionally, I am willing this one time to pay your Pending cashout back to your account into Phase 1, 2 or 3. Friends, you all know I’m an honest person and sincerely care for my 8DF family, and I want to be completely upfront with you. I personally believe that 8DF is strong enough, and trusted enough in the internet surf community to pull through this hiccup caused by server issues , even STRONGER than before. We have proven ourselves these past 6 months, and are firmly established. We are now officially a “million dollar business” ! We have much to be thankful for and a LOT to be proud of.
I will not pretend though that together we don’t have a challenge to meet. We are at a critical point at this moment, again due to the server issues, because though very few adpack purchase funds could roll in (no one can send them if they cannot login), adpacks still automatically expired and are waiting to be paid. To show you the complete picture, the percentage of funds coming in these past 5 days and funds needing to go out are about 20% in to 100% out. I firmly believe that as Pendings are paid today, most (as before) will reinvest. I also believe that once the community at large knows we are open for business again, we’ll gain many more new members. Also we do have funds invested that are waiting to mature.
Lets get back to the Banner Challenge folks! (You’ll find this in an older blog). Lets once again flood the forums and websites with 8DF banners …..we are waiting for new ones to come in from our designer, which will update the ones you see now. As soon as he completes his updates, they’ll be available to you, in a couple of hours he says.
Folks , after all ups are added to your accounts, I’ll begin the Pending payouts, paying the earliest requests first, and beginning with LR and STP. PLease, please report in the forums when you are paid, whether the amount is large or small, as this will help ease any panic that was developing there these past few days.
To reduce the large number of Pending payouts, I’d like to suggest that the minimum withdrawal for VIP members be kept to $50 if at all possible, and all others to $8. For now, I’ll leave this as “voluntary”, but ask for your cooperation please.
Ok folks, I will get back to work now and will be “nose to the grindstone” till midnight (along with my cough syrup and aspirins!!) to pay as many Pendings as possible.”

Ok, as I predicted VolcanoInvest is officially closed now. I hope you all listened to my warnings published on my blog a couple of days ago and were able to get out of this program while it was not too late. I’m sure many of you have benefited from this program as it lasted for more than a month before the first issues occurred which is not too bad for such a program (just compare this term to some of Tysin’s programs to understand what I’m talking about!). Anyway, VolcanoInvest is closed now and as I know the admin you shouldn’t expect a refund as in all his programs refunds were also promised but very few actually got them. In my opinion, we should expect another program from the same admin soon but I really don’t know if I’d support him again. He was quite rude with me and many of the members this time and I don’t really know if he deserves any further support. This is the official announcement with the reasons behind the possible closure (Forex failure, for sure, lol, I would say MegaLido’s failure, sounds more realistic to me):

On a past week one our trader has has done fatal mistake during trading session on a FOREX market. As result he has lost big amount. He good man and good trader, but unfortunately life is life. We decided to put more own money to compensate this fault and continue work. Unfortunately this action – temporal effect. Within several days the situation backed to unstable again. We decided temporary close/refund members accounts who already been in profit (fully returned initial investments and got profit). Unfortunately this action generated a wave of negative emotions, negative comments on the public forums and monitors, negative reaction from some monitors. Due to this, we can’t continue to keep VI site. Of course, the main reason is a trading failure. Please, understand it.
Re: So what now?
Now we working to prepare refund process.
1. Every account will be reviewed manually.
2. All Bonuses will be deleted.
3. All deposits will be updated with initial amount. All re-invests will be removed.
4. All members accounts with status “In profit” will be closed. We take payments history to/from e-currency account to calculate who is in profit.
5. Only initial amount will be refunded.
Approximately this process can take up to 2 weeks.
Re: How to get refund?
The refund process will start as soon as all members accounts will be reviewed by our staff. Please, be patient. Do not send e-mails to us with question when, when. Read our updates on site.”

Warning for all the members of Commoditex! Please check your accounts and if your LR or PM accounts are changed to the wrong ones please change them again to the right ones belonging to you. It appears that there was some system failure and Commoditex script set it to unknown accounts. I hope no security was breached and no accounts’ details were compromised. I really hope it was some kind of incident that will not happen in the future like Commoditex administration promised in his email to the members (you can read my detailed review of the program here):

For now all my pendings were processed to the right account which was changed by me and if you also noticed this discrepancy please check your Commoditex account and make all the necessary updates by changing your LR and PM accounts. It’s very important so do it now!

Some good news and updates came today from StrictPay payment processor (read my interview with the admin here). The most important and convenient thing announced is that you can finally not only fund your StrictPay account via SolidTrustPay but you can actually withdraw from your StrictPay account to STP as well. The maximum amount to withdraw is $1,000 and the fee is only 2%. I wish more payment processors would cooperate with each other follow the example of STP and SP. Also from now on instead of a Visa debit card you will sent a MasterCard debit card which is not so important in my opinion. The most important thing that the StrictPay debit card will only cost you $19.95 and you can use it in any ATM worldwide that accepts MasterCard. I have already received my card from StrictPay and tested it. So far – so good, that’s why I would recommend you to use it as well. It’s very handy, believe me! Ok, this is the latest from StrictPay administration:

We feel that the time has come to offer StrictPay members the option of withdrawing funds directly into your SolidTrustPay account. We have been asked numerous times why a merchant would be more likely to accept StrictPay as a payment option based on the suggestion of a single person, rather than because we ourselves contact them. The answer is simple; every successful company values their customers, because without them the company would not exist. And a simple email to their support center, or post in their forum, means a lot more to them than an email from a company they likely perceive as “trying to sell them something”. We can talk about the advantages of using StrictPay all day long, but in the end it means a lot more to them when it comes from you.”

Finally, when I wrote the news section I received another update from Froggie, better known as Jake or the admin of Frogress autosurf (read my interview with him here). Everything is going great and Jake never stops surprising me by adding new features. After the exchange service that has been added just recently the blog and forum were added today and I believe this will benefit all the members. This is quite a long update (but worth reading!):

Frogress is really getting a lot of attention the past days. Today it was DDOS attacked for some hours that cause the website to perform slowly but it was still up. Good thing BlockDos did a good job in protecting Frogress from DDOS attacks. It really was very convenient and worry free. Froggie thanks BlockDos for the great service.
Now about the exchange service. Remember to pay using the PENDING link in your order details in your members area. After doing so Click the Inform link to put the batch number then so I can identify those who transferred the funds from those which did not so I can process them
Also now about the cashouts. I get so many emails asking why they cannot cashout their expired upgrades earnings. Well you see you do not need to request cashout for your earnings because they automatically get cashed out once your upgrade is fully expired. They do not expire exactly after you finish surfing for the 12th day. They expire at 00:00hrs after the 12th day you surf and then will be put to pending after you login on the 13th day. If you can login at 00:01hrs on the next day then sure do it so it goes to pending fast LOL! Now seriously please do not ask why you cannot cashout expired upgrades, they will automatically be cashed out for you. You can only cashout commissions.
Another reminder about cashouts. Please please, froggie asks you all to not email me to ask why your cashout is not yet processed in 5minutes!!! Come on please be considerate. 5 minutes is not even a long time or even 1 hour. LOL!

I hope it’s not the admin’s intention to close the program in 2008, lol. 2008-N looks not bad, has a protection from BlockLotus and original script (looks like modified GoldCoders). The plans are: 2.5%-3% for 100 days with principal return. The minimum to invest is only $5 and LibertyReserve and PerfectMoney are accepted as payment processors.
