11/11/2010. Interview with the admin of FelixFunds

Hi guys! For the first update today I have an interview with the admin of a promising new HYIP called FelixFunds. It’s an intriguing program that offers investors the opportunity to set the lengths of their own investment terms. So once you you’ve decided how much you are prepared to spend you now need to decide how long you wish to leave that money in place. You’re free to leave at anytime (subject to a withdrawal fee) so whether you’re a fan of short, medium, or long term programs you can use any of those terms to describe FelixFunds.

The program offers payments of 1.2%, 1.5%, 1.8%, and 2.3% interest per day on business days only for indefinite terms. “1. Hi Felix, please introduce yourself to the readers of MNO and give us a little background information on yourself and your experience in managing other peoples money.

Hi everybody! I’m Felix, the admin of FelixFunds. I was collaborating with other ForEx traders for few years and we were investing funds in ForEx and trading for offline people. Now we thought to move further and get more funds and of course more profits for everybody.

2. Can you share some facts about the FelixFunds business with us? How long have you been in operation? Are you the sole employee or do you have an assistant or a partner?

Everything started few years back as I’ve just said. The idea for this site came to us in the middle of last month and we started it around the 25th of October. We have a team of 10 people including me. Most of them are traders on ForEx and rest are for support, sales (advertising) and technical field.

3. Assuming someone is coming into the online HYIP industry for the first time, can you talk us through the process of joining FelixFunds? What do I need to do and what can I expect to happen next and over the following number of months?

Everybody should go to the registration area first. Once they do that, use the deposit option in the members area to invest with us. According to the amount invested they must choose a plan. Then they will start earning and can withdraw their profits every business day for how long they want. As you can see from our plans, they are long term, and we intend to keep this business online for long time. That’s why we prefer lower plans but sustainable ones from our point of view.

4. What are you offering investor in terms of plans and profits? What is the minimum and maximum amounts you can invest? How long do the investment terms run for and how can I get my principal back?

The minimum to invest with us is $1 and there is no maximum. All plans are going for as long as anybody wants. Members can request their principle back at any time by requesting it. The plans are like this: 1.2% daily, 1.5% daily, 1.8% daily and 2.3% daily, all with no expiry date and there is a minimum and a maximum for each plan. 5. What happens if I want to leave the program early? Is there a minimum lock-in period for my deposit? Is there an early withdrawal fee? Are you anticipating many investors getting in and out quickly or would be hoping for them to stay put for a longer term?

There is no minimum lock-in period. When a member wishes to live our program he just needs to ask for it. However because we do invest funds in ForEx there is a 15% withdrawal fee for requesting their principal back. As our plans are for the long term we hope that people will see that it’s better to stay with us and keep earning than to just request their principal back fast. This program has been built to last.

6. What payment processors are FelixFunds currently dealing with? What have been the most popular choices? Can I make a withdrawal at the weekend?

We are using AlertPay, LibertyReserve, and PerfectMoney. The most popular by now has been AP, probably because we have many members from the offline community already and they are using their credit cards to load funds and invest with us. In our terms and conditions we said that during weekends they will be no earnings and no payments. However because we’re still at the beginning for the next couple of weeks we will make an exception and pay during weekends too but no earnings will be added at weekends.

7. Can you give us any other general statistics on the program, for example the number of active members, total deposits, total withdrawals, etc?

Because we’re still only at the beginning the numbers are not so spectacular as many members might expect but we are steady growing every day. We have now 400 active members, around $20,000 deposits and around $2,300 withdrawn.

8. What would be the best and most efficient way of contacting you if I have any questions or problems? I see that you have a Chat Room in the member’s area. Is this a fully supported way for clients to reach you or should it be kept more confidential?

Members can contact us from support area or at these email addresses: admin@felixfunds.com or felixfunds@googlemail.com I also answer on Gtalk chat. In our members chat area we have a guy from support from time to time, as we built that area mostly for members to be able to chat to each other and help each other. That is why we opened the moderator contest. I must say that most of them didn’t realize yet what that area is for, but hopefully in time they will enjoy it.

9. What have been the most common questions, problems, or other support related issues that you have had to deal with so far? Is there anything you would like to address here so that members can avoid having to contact you?

We had only couple of questions regarding investments with AP and withdrawing with LR and we answered them fast (we don’t do exchanges). What I would like members to understand first is that they can use the chat area to help each other and so to help our support team too.

Also by keeping in contact with each other there, they will be also able to advise each other on what the best plan is and with any other things that they would like to share with each other.

10. Can you tell us in detail about the security of FelixFunds? Who is your hosting provider and how highly do you rate them as a service provider? Is your website protected with SSL encryption?

We are hosted on BlackLotus and you noticed already and we agree with you that it is a safe host for us (that’s why we chose them). We do have SSL encryption as well.

11. I’m aware that you have your own unique script (that looks very much like GoldCoders) but intend to replace it soon, is that correct? What are you going to replace it with and why is this necessary at such an early stage of the program’s development?

Yes we do intend to replace this script with a new one. It will be a new custom script with unique features for members. It’s not really necessary but we are constantly thinking of our members and want to offer them more features to enjoy staying on our site longer every day.

12. What other outside business and investment activities are you involved with? can’t see anything in the ForEx business that comes even remotely close to supporting the payments you offer, and certainly not consistently. So can we see any proof of these activities?

We just invest on ForEx (online) and don’t have yet an offline company opened. We intend to make the program bigger and more stable first and then we will open an offline company too and let members know about it. The problem with the proof in ForEx trading is that each trader has his own unique way of trading and no serious trader would share his style with others. Serious proof would be to give members access to our ForEx accounts and see by themselves but then it would happen exactly what no trader would want: anybody to see his style of trading.
So instead of giving proofs who could heart us, we prefer to make members see we’re serious over time. We are aware of how many programs claimed to use ForEx and that’s why we don’t even want to convince anybody for now. They will see this in time as we intend to be here for long time, and payment proofs will convince more then just words.

13. I also said in my review that the texts used on the FelixFunds website are not original and are copy/pasted from numerous other HYIP related sites. Why is this? Don’t you think investors will question your business if you can’t describe it in your own words?

Not all texts has been used before but I allowed the designer to add them because the ones he has chosen describe exactly what we needed. The confidence of members we thought will come more from being paid then from what texts we’ve used on the site.

14. Tell us more about the general advertising and promotional strategies being used by FelixFunds. In a very competitive market what are you doing to bring the program to a wider investment audience?

We started with a first step advertising campaign (kind of a test one) to see where is more effective to advertise first. We will move to the next step by enlarging our advertising campaign in new places soon. Also we are advertising offline too in places where we have found people willing to earn from our affiliate program.

15. Are there any plans to develop FelixFunds further in the near future? Will there be any interesting changes made soon? How are you planning to keep the program competitive with so many new programs opening all the time?

We intend to make our site big and stable for the long term, so yes, of course we have plans to develop it further. Once we open the offline company, we will add the address, phone and bank wire option for investments. Instead of adding a fake certificate on the site (like we saw so many others doing), we will add the government site link and our license number (once we have the company opened) where everybody can check for themselves if we’re telling the truth or not. We think that our hard work, honesty and dedication combined with profits paid fast day after day will help us be more competitive then others.Thank you for the opportunity of this interview Paul and please keep on going the great job you’re doing for everybody.”

Fingers crossed the program will be around long enough for most of us but of course the real advantage here is that you get to set your own investment term.
