27/10/2010. TerraProfits Review and Daily News from the Industry

BEWARE! THIS PROGRAM HAS STOPPED PAYING! PLEASE DO NOT INVEST!

Hi everyone! I have a pretty long journey in front of me this morning as I continue to Sibiu and in a few days to Brasov where I’m looking forward to spending the next week. And I guess any aficionados of horror movies will agree, who wouldn’t want to spend Halloween in Transylvania, eh? Fingers crossed I can avoid the werewolves and the vampires before I finally return home! Speaking of horror movies though I couldn’t help but laugh last night when I went to the local cinema to see the new M. Night Shyamalan film “Devil”. If you haven’t seen it then don’t worry, I won’t spoil the plot for you here. But there was a scene where a man who was the admin a Ponzi program that scammed a lot of people meets the ending I know a lot of HYIP players probably think he deserves. I won’t tell you any more about it but HYIP admins beware, I doubt so many cinema goers have ever been applauding Satan so much, lol!

Anyway on the plus side I find myself with a few spare hours here on the train so can get a little work done before arriving. And the first thing I want to do is look at a recently launched HYI program called TerraProfits that looks a little more serious than some of the new ones we have seen of late. For one thing it’s a bit longer term than many of the newer ones and has a wider selection of payment processors. TerraProfits is also more affordable than most, costing just a single dollar to join. There are four plans in total you can join and the minimum investment is different depending on which one you join, but something you need to keep in mind beforehand is that due to the higher fees associated with AlertPay the minimum deposit required to use that particular payment processor will be $10, regardless of the plan.

The first of TerraProfits plans runs for 30 calendar days and costs a $1 minimum to join. The plan makes daily interest payments for the duration of 1.2% per day. At the end of the term TerraProfits will then return your principal. So if we take a $100 investment as an example you would earn $1.20 per day for 30 days, adding up to a total of $36 on expiry and which can be considered 36% profit after the initial hundred gets returned. Maximum spend is $100.

And that’s more or less the way the remaining three plans operate, with a few variations of course. The second plan runs for 60 calendar days and will require a minimum of $101 to join. In return for that TerraProfits are offering a daily interest payment of 1.5% per day this time, with your principal returned on expiry. So an investment here would add up to 90% total profit after your principal gets returned. Maximum spend is $1,000

TerraProfits third plan is the first one that will actually see you in profit before the investment term expires. It runs for 100 calendar days and offers you a 1.8% daily interest payment on deposits between a minimum of $1,001 and a maximum of $5,000. So if we make an investment we can expect our daily payments to break even after 56 days, and finish the term with payments accumulating to 180% of our deposit which can be counted as profit once the initial spend is returned.

And finally for a minimum investment of $5,001 TerraProfits final plan offers a daily interest payment of 2.1% on deposits up to a maximum of $20,000. The term runs for 150 calendar days. To put it another way that adds up to 14.7% interest weekly which some may very well question the long term sustainability of. Examples are mixed, but there are enough programs to have maintained a similar level of payments for months on end in the past, so with good management and no small measure of good luck let’s hope it can be sustained here too. An investment here would therefore allow you to break even after 48 days, and finish with a total of 315% profit on top of the original deposit getting returned. This is also what I fear may put an unwelcome drain on the program’s resources in the weeks after it expires. But as that won’t happen until the end of March of next year allowing all of us to earn a profit no matter what plan you choose, I wouldn’t get overly worried about that particular aspect of TerraProfits just yet. And the fact that a $5K minimum is in place means the plan is unlikely to get much attention so it’s probably a moot point anyway.

Unusually for many of the more recent long term HYIPs TerraProfits is accepting a wider range of payment processors than most. The usual favorites of LibertyReserve and PerfectMoney are there of course, as well as the less popular but convenient GlobalDigitalPay and AlertPay for those looking for a verified option. As well as the good choice of payment options there is the added bonus of instant payouts. Just log into your account, request your payment, and it should be in your e-currency account within seconds. In the event of this service being suspended for some reason, eg technical, security, etc, then the admin reserves the right to take up to 3 business days to process the payments manually.

Something I like about TerraProfits is the fact that they are running off a unique and custom-made script. In order to make a deposit you have to add funds to your account first and then make a new deposit from your account balance. The security of TerraProfits is also good as it’s SSL secured and hosted on a Staminus dedicated server with DdosWiz protection from possible attacks. If you need to communicate with the admin with any questions or support related issues then you can submit a ticket by filling in your details on the form provided on the contacts page. There is a Live Chat feature but it’s not a 24 hour service and has nothing to indicate what kind of timetable – if any – is kept there.

Texts are original (if a little vague) about the business, which proves little beyond some level of originality. But that’s welcome anyway as if you’re trying to catch people’s attention in a crowded and competitive market you’re never going to do it by copy/pasting anything from a dozen other websites. They’re also claiming to be a registered company in Panama, something not verifiable by just visiting the TerraProfits website as documents relating to this are available to members only upon request. As a member I could have submitted a support ticket for this but to be honest I have little interest in doing so. As MNO is also a registered company I know the ease with which these things can be done and I know exactly how much of a safety net they provide in relation to your money’s safety (ie none). But again like the original texts it does take an extra effort and an extra expense from the admin so it does at least add up to making the website more distinctive from the rest. TerraProfits claiming to be in business for almost four years but without having a functioning website until last Monday would also indicate how you need to be approaching this with regards to how much money is safe to spend.

All and all however it’s not a bad looking website, but still a game you understand. So remember to only use it as a small part of a wider portfolio and only ever spend money according to what you can afford to lose rather than what you would like to win.

DAILY NEWS FROM THE INDUSTRY.

Let’s start with some positive news from one of the undoubted leaders of the short term programs now – EarnPlaza (reviewed here). The program has been paying smoothly so far during their 37 days online for three investment plans: 110% after 5 days, 130% after 10 days and 160% after 15 days. Those of you who joined the program in the very beginning already got their profits and hopefully will be receiving more as long as EarnPlaza keeps progressing. The recent transfer of the website to Dragonara servers proved to be a smart move as after that EarnPlaza stopped having any of the serious accessibility problems that were blighting their coverage with the previous host – DdoSWiz. The admin of EarnPlaza Matt (interviewed here) is constantly working on improving the program to attract more and more new clients. In the recent newsletter from EarnPlaza I received last night Matt promised to add some new features to the members area and support page including the adding new banners to reflect the current rebranding of the program with the slogan “Next HYIP Short Term Industry Leader” which is actually not far from the truth provided the lack of good-quality long-running short-term programs now. You might also have noticed the Shoutbox that has been installed in the member’s area which will ensure it will not be spammed and useful for inner-site communication with the admin and between other investors. Matt also promised to implement multi-lingual Live support pretty soon (the first language supported will be Russian) and reminded us of the current running bonus of 5% which every investor depositing over $333 via LibertyReserve will receive to his account. BrilliantsInvestment (reviewed here) keeps doing well and continues to process instant payouts to LibertyReserve and PerfectMoney accounts for the last eight. The plans the program offers can’t exactly be described as sustainable so only invest at your own risk! BrilliantsInvestment offers 107%-122% after 1 day, 122%-170% after 3 days, 150%-250% after 7 days, 172%-320% after 10 days, 220%-515% after 15 days, 1000%-1122% after 30 days with a minimum of $10. In addition, the admin of BrilliantsInvestment announced that their program was ranked #1 in the most searched programs category on the Allhyipmonitors site. I don’t think it is hard to achieve such a rating but apparently the admin is really proud of this and he even sent out a newsletter saying as much to investors. Here is the latest from BrilliantsInvestment:

It appears that we have a new “anti-record” for longevity which was set by the Qweez program which managed to last only one and a half days! This would be really hilarious if we didn’t pay attention to the downtime that hit most of the sites hosted by DdoSWiz today when they were not available for several hours. Perhaps it severely hit the program offering extra short-term plans for 1-4 days and drained out their reserves. I’m not defending this program here as obviously it was a fast game but we should take into consideration here all the factors that might lead to the premature collapse of Qweez and the downtime was definitely one of them. This reminds us again and again that such programs like Qweez offering short-term plans can collapse without warning at any time, that’s why it’s important to remember to only invest what you can afford to lose. The last statement generally applies to all the HYIPs anyway so be careful!

Another short-term program also under question is UnitForce which was already reported on my blog yesterday due to delayed payouts. Apparently today only several small payouts and payments to monitors were processed while other investors were simply ignored. I have contacted the admin of UnitForce already and hopefully he will explain the issue soon but the selective payouts don’t look good at all. Please be careful with UnitForce and I will move it to Waiting status on MNO for now and will report tomorrow about the change of this status to Paying or Not Paying. Be sure that MNO will not tolerate selective payouts from any program!

Saying that it is confirmed now that FxTradingWorldwide and OrderDollar became scams. Their admins don’t reply support tickets and delaying payouts which could be only one huge warning sign for the investors. So please do not invest into those programs!

Another short-term program – StablEarn – was been added to MNO late last night and I haven’t introduced it simply because it was after I posted the last update. StablEarn offers two investment plans with instant payouts to LibertyReserve and PerfectMoney – 106%-118% after 1 day, 40% for 3 days and 5% hourly for 24 hours. However only the first plan is seriously viable for the vast majority of investors who can start making deposits from $10 (as for other plans they have very high minimum investments and therefore are not advised). Payments from all the plans are promised to be instant and I can confirm that as I was just paid on my own first expiry in the one day plan just a couple of hours ago. StablEarn is quite a good setup as it’s uses SSL connection, runs off a licensed GoldCoders script and is protected by BlackLotus on the highest Enterprise level of protection. It’s obvious that the admin of StablEarn Jonathan didn’t spare any time or expense in creating a quality and safe program for investors. Will it be sustainable in the long run? I don’t know but time will tell. I’m going to prepare a more detailed review of StablEarn on my blog tomorrow so stay tuned for that, guys!
