Beware! StockFunds has stopped paying! Do not invest there!

Hello everybody! I hope you’re all having a good weekend so far, and if you’re interested in it enjoying the opening sessions of the Olympic games today. If the rest of the tournament is as good as the opening ceremony (where the Queen and “James Bond” stole the show in in my opinion, lol!) I think we’ll be in for a real treat. I caught a bit of the men’s cycling race earlier as it passed by just around the corner from where I live (I’ll go check out the women’s race tomorrow), but what I’m really looking forward to is the basketball and gymnastics semi-finals, both of which I was lucky enough to get tickets for. So I posted a bit earlier than usual yesterday on account of that, but it looks as if tonight there isn’t really a whole lot to catch up with. There’s a couple of news stories that you should probably read if you want to keep up to date with the industry of course, though otherwise it’s been a slow enough weekend. Before we get to the news though, there’s one program I wanted to look at in a bit more detail for you called StockFunds, a long term HYIP based game, though I have to say one that’s alternated between confusing and frustrating over the last couple of days for reasons I’ll explain. But hopefully the admin will settle on a plan and stick to it soon as StockFunds did seem to have some contradictions. Written all over the StockFunds website for example a statement that the program is in pre-launch mode until August 1st, though exactly what that means I don’t know because everything seems to be functioning, and the program is open for business and readily accepting money from investors already.

We’ll start as always with the plans, and on the face of it StockFunds would seem to be a relatively simple and straight forward HYIP at first glance. On closer inspection things are not quite as they seem, and you will encounter a number of hidden charges and extra fees that unfortunately the admin makes a very poor job of explaining. In fact I was already so far into the program that I got to the point of making my first withdrawal before being made aware of some! So if you want to join StockFunds there really is a LOT you need to be aware of before handing over any money, and a lot of this is information you either won’t find at all or won’t find explained particularly well on the StockFunds website.

But let’s stick to the basics for the moment. StockFunds offer two long term plans, both of which run for 150 calendar days. The first of these is called The FXStock Basic Plan which you can join for a $10 minimum. During the course of the term StockFunds are offering a daily interest payment of 1.35%. So by the time it comes to maturity your payments should add up to 202.5%. Your principal is already factored into your payments and so will not be returned at the end, which basically means you double your money in the program assuming everything works out smoothly. Maximum deposit allowed here is $1000.

Here we come to the first contradiction in the program. The home page clearly states that the maximum allowed in this first plan is $100, though after you sign up and go to your members area you will see that you may invest up to $1,000 if you wish. Something I would not recommend by the way as we shall see.

For a minimum deposit of $110 StockFunds present The FXStock Professional Plan, which also runs for 150 calendar days. Daily payments are offered at a rate of 2%, which upon expiry should add up to 300% of your original investment. Again your initial deposit is factored into the payments and so will not be returned, meaning that 200% of your return is profit. Maximum spend is $100,000.

As you can see both plans overlap each other, making the first one all but obsolete for anything other than the smallest deposits. I mean why on earth would anyone want to put let’s say $110 into the first plan for 1.35% interest when the second one offers 2% for the very same length of time? It all comes across as a bit sloppy, a bit amateurish, and kinda thrown together without much thought.

Payment options are fair enough and include the most popular options open to online HYIP players. LibertyReserve and PerfectMoney are there of course, as are Payza’s new HYIP specializing subsidiary EgoPay. But for anyone who prefers a safer verified option then SolidTrustPay completes the list. Despite the fact that plans are measured in calendar days, StockFunds do not in fact process any payments on the weekends. You will still earn money and your account will be credited, you just won’t be able to withdraw until Monday. Withdrawal requests have to me made manually from inside your StockFunds members area and can take up to 48 hours to be completed. Taking the weekend break into account and that could result in a lengthy wait if requesting money later in the week so do be patient.

Now, there are a number of other very important points you will need to be aware of about the plans before signing up for StockFunds include the following. For one thing the amount of money you think you might be able to earn from the program simply by looking at the plans and making some calculations isn’t exactly accurate. On the StockFunds home page you will see in very plain English, and I quote, “no hidden/administration fee”. But that is not exactly the truth. In fact there are several hidden expenses you will encounter that will eat into your profits.

For one thing there are deposit fees charged to anyone using STP and EgoPay of up to a whopping 3% of your initial investment. So if you wanted to invest $100 it would actually cost you $103, though you’d only earn on the $100 and never see the $3 again. In addition to that there is a compulsory re-investment scheme in operation. When you go to make a withdrawal StockFunds will only hand over 90% of your money. The remaining 10% is kept by them and goes back into a “repurchase account”. So for example if you have $7.00 to withdraw, StockFunds will only give you $6.30. The remaining $0.70c goes back to this repurchase account. As this is clearly well short of the $10 minimum needed to invest one assumes the money is held until such a time as you can then re-invest it properly. I suppose one could consider it a form of forced compounding.

Another thing you should be aware of is that all deposits must be made in units of $10, in other words it’s a bit like buying shares priced at $10 each. So you can invest $10, $20, $30, etc, but nothing in between. Smaller investors should know that there is currently a minimum withdrawal of $2, and the admin has not ruled out the possibility of raising this to $10 in the future. Indeed it was already set to $10 for a brief period before dropping back to $2 again.

As for design and security aspects of the program, StockFunds is running off a script from PHPflux, and generally speaking the programs using this script are where you can only invest in set price units rather a dollar amount of your choice. Hosting is on a dedicated server with support and protection by Koddos and the website is using SSL-encryption. For any further questions or account related issues the StockFunds admin can be reached by filling in the online support form on the contacts page and submitting it.

Texts on the StockFunds website are mostly copy/pasted from older HYIP related resources, though in one case they go so far as to present an entire article from Wikipedia without ever actually quoting the source. So it goes without saying this is not to be taken all that seriously, as the more experienced players will know anyway. If an admin can’t explain his own business in his own words then it’s unlikely to be true. So remember at all times to set yourself a spending limit that is easily affordable, asking yourself in advance what kind of situation would you be in if you lost that money. And if joining StockFunds then try to keep them as part of a wider more diverse portfolio.

DAILY NEWS FROM THE INDUSTRY

DONALDSGROUP – FAQ AND TOS PAGES CREATED, EGOPAY COMING SOON

As originally promised by the admin of DonaldsGroup on launching his program nine days ago, pages detailing the most common questions (FAQ) and terms and conditions of joining the program (ToS) have now been added. Many members requested they have these at their disposal to read more information about the program’s investment plans paying 1.6%-2.3% for 90 business days and 1.8%-2.5% for 180 business days with principal back on expiry. Currently only LibertyReserve, PerfectMoney and SolidTrustPay are accepted by DonaldsGroup starting from $10, but in the near future EgoPay should be added too. This will be announced on MNO by the admin of DonaldsGroup who is, by the way, quite active on the MNO ShoutBox too. Here is the full latest newsletter from DonaldsGroup (reviewed here):

ABSOLUTIVA – MAINTENANCE MYSTERY REVEALED AND PERFECTMONEY ADDED

As you might remember the last email from the admin of Absolutiva featured on MNO was about maintenance work which couldn’t be fully explained for security reasons. Well, it looks like some errors were found and fixed as the captcha image required to login to your Absolutiva account now contains numbers only which greatly reduce the possibility of entering the wrong combination and not being able to access your account Issues with crediting referral commissions were fixed and were also addressed in yesterday’s update from them:

Website Maintenance – 07/27/2012
This email is to inform you that we are currently replacing the old captcha with a new one. This has been done in regards to some complaints we received regarding captcha not functioning properly even when people were inputting the appropriate characters.
We’ve also fixed an issue regarding referral commissions not being credited for deposits made with PayPal and EgoPay. All account balances will be adjusted within 24 hours.
If you have any question or comment regarding this update, please do note hesitate to contact us at any given time.

Today saw further server maintenance required which the admin of Absolutiva warned members of in advance:

Emergency Server Maintenance
This email is to inform you that we are undergoing an emergency server maintenance. We are very sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you. Services will be restored within a few hours.

In an extra effort to improve the services provided to investors, Absolutiva also added PerfectMoney as its fourth payment processor today which joins LibertyReserve, EgoPay and even PayPal (!). I would like to remind you that Absolutiva offers you the investment plans with daily and weekly return and returns your principal on expiry of the following plans – 1.4%-2% for 120 business days and 7.5%-10.5% for 30 weeks. You can invest in Absolutiva starting from $10, and for all additional info on the program please refer to my review published here. This is their latest email announcing the acceptance of PerfectMoney:

Introducing Perfect Money
This email is to inform you that Perfect Money is now available as a deposit and withdrawal method. In the upcoming weeks, we are expecting to launch a multitude of features that will enhance your account experience (including but not limited to; account security, loyalty program).

INTRODUCTION OF INFLEXCAPITAL

The newest program on MNO’s Premium list – InflexCapital – launched 25 days ago and will soon be finishing its first cycle of payments. Currently three payment processors are accepted by InflexCapital – LibertyReserve, PerfectMoney and SolidTrustPay – with a minimum to invest of $10. With that in mind please note that the investment plans offered by the program are quite unusual and each subsequent plan requires an investment in the previous one first which pays less interest. Anyway, for a $10 minimum you can enter the lowest paying plan with 2% interest paid for the duration of 22 business days after which your original principal is returned. If you invest at least $10 into the first plan you are then allowed to get into the second one for a higher investment minimum of $500 and get paid 3% for the duration of 22 business after which your principal is returned. And only after participating in that plan are you allowed to join the third one with the same minimum of $500 but an even higher interest rate of 4% paid for the same duration of 22 business days with the principal return on expiry. Not clear? Don’t worry – you can read more about it in a more detailed review of InflexCapital scheduled to be published on MNO by Monday.

Other features I would like to highlight include a beautifully designed website with a lot of graphics, support ticketing center, Live Chat, Comodo SSL protection, hosting on a dedicated server with GeniusGuard DdoS protection and a modified GoldCoders script which the program is running off. To my surprise the admin of InflexCapital appears to be a very responsive and down-to-earth guy ready to improve his program as he goes and gradually make it more popular. I guess that was the idea of coming to MNO after a few successful weeks online and the addition of SolidTrustPay which happened just ten days ago. Here is that latest update in full which also includes the description of the opportunity to earn some cash or simply promote InflexCapital among your friends:

SolidTrustPay added!
Greetings lovely members of InflexCapital,
Today I am thrilled to announce that InflexCapital will be accepting SolidTrustPay as the third payment processor. This payment processor has been one of the top priorities in our agenda, and now that we’re finally verified, we think it’d further propel our site to a higher level.
SolidTrustPay is undoubtedly one of the top payment processors in the industry at the moment, and especially with Payza out of the picture now, we suspect SolidTrustPay will swoop in and take the top spot pretty soon. With that said, we think that being able to accept SolidTrustPay will further consolidate our position as one of the up-and-coming programs in the industry. If you pay a closer look, we’ve been progressively adding new features to our site, and we think that’s the best way to keep improving ourselves!
$1 per banner Promotion!
This is our incentive for you guys to promote us! Remember, if you place one of our banners as your profile picture or signature, we will pay you $1!
Now, details:
1) Click, Like and Share our Facebook page: Our Facebook
2) Place our banner as your profile pic/signature (Get them here)
3) Keep it there for at least a week
4) Make at least 5 posts over the course of the week
That’s it for today! Let your friends know that InflexCapital is paying fast, and we’re paying strong! With instant payouts to LibertyReserve and now also accepting SolidTrustPay, we are finally in a position to put ourselves against serious competition!

As you can see the admin of InflexCapital Andrew is pretty serious in bringing his program to a new level and I wish him every success in presenting it to a wider audience soon!
