06/11/2012. GoldenGambit Review and Daily News from the Industry

 Beware! GoldenGambit has stopped paying! Do not invest there!

Hello everyone! Before we move on to today’s news stories I want to look at a new short term program called GoldenGambit for you in a bit more detail. They’ve been running for about a week or so now, and has joined the MNO monitor two days ago. They have an interesting mix of plans that vary from on expiry payments to daily ones. I would have to say I had a few reservations about the plans at first in terms of how they were researched and calculated which I’ll get to soon, but first let’s run through the main features of GoldenGambit and see if there’s anything there to interest you.

What you have on offer to you in GoldenGambit is a series of four plans. The first is called The Blackjack Plan and you can join it for a $10 minimum deposit. It runs for a term of 7 calendar days and pays you just once on expiry. The maximum deposit is $999 and for any amount deposited GoldenGambit are offering a return of 114%, principal included. So in other words a $100 should get you back $114, or your own money back plus a 14% net profit.

The second plan is a slightly longer term option, running for 15 calendar days and costing a $20 minimum to join. It’s called The Poker Plan and differs from the first option by offering a daily interest payment. Anything from the $20 minimum up to a value of $9,999 will be paid 9% interest per day adding up to 135% by the time the last payment is received. As is generally the case with the majority of shorter term HYIPs GoldenGambit are including your initial principal as part of those payments, so it’s your own money back plus 35% net profit. Or to put it in monetary terms, another $100 invested here should get you back $9 per day until you have $135 in total.

The final HYIP style plan is The Roulette Plan which runs for a term of 31 calendar days and can be joined by anyone willing to pay a $30 minimum or anything up to a $9,999 maximum. GoldenGambit make a daily interest payment of 7% for the terms duration, adding up to 217% in total by the end. That figure too includes your original deposit so will not be returned, meaning you have a 117% profit for yourself. In more practical terms that would mean a $100 deposit here should get you back $7 per day until you have $217 in total.

Apart from that GoldenGambit also have a Game Dice Plan. Unfortunately I’m at bit of a disadvantage here when it comes to commenting on it, due to the fact that it only runs once per week on Friday (00.00 to 23.59 GMT) and I’m writing this on Tuesday. But the basic premise is that you invest between $100 and $500 on Friday for a return of 110% to be made the following Monday. This is of course simply a vehicle for the admin to collect money and I can see no real reason for this to be done the way it is (ie, why only on Friday?) if it isn’t the admin’s ultimate intention to scam over the weekend. I don’t mean it’s going to happen this weekend of course, just any weekend. Incidentally, the reason I didn’t include this plan on my monitoring page is because it only runs one day per week.

Despite their being no less that four separate payment options in GoldenGambit, I still think there’s plenty of scope for improvement there. A lot of you might be happy enough with the list I suppose, with EgoPay, PerfectMoney, PexPay, and LibertyReserve all making the grade. All completely irreversible transactions of course with refunds being out of the question with all of them in the event of things not working out the way you wanted, but that’s all in keeping with GoldenGambit‘s gambling theme I guess. Withdrawal requests are processed manually by the admin and so will need to be made from within your private members account area. Once done the GoldenGambit admin asks you to allow anything up to 24 hours for all transactions to be completed.

On the security and design aspects of the program, GoldenGambit is hosted on a dedicated server with support and protection provided by BlockDos. The website is fully SSL encrypted in both public and members areas by RapidSSL for safer browsing and more secure transactions. GoldenGambit is also running off a modified version of the ProBiz script. The admin says this was not obtained from ProBiz themselves but rather from some other source. I don’t really know what to make of that (it’s hard to be positive about it anyway) though given that the cost of getting hosted by BlockDos isn’t cheap it’s hard to imagine the admin wanting to deliberately cut corners with something like this. Regarding the business plan behind the program and backing the whole thing up, if the name GoldenGambit itself doesn’t give you a hint then you’ll find it glaringly obvious as soon as you see the website. It’s basically a gambling themed website and the texts which seem original describe the owners as a group of professional gamblers. It’s a line I’ve heard many many times in the HYIP industry before and it always comes back to the question that if it were really true and somebody can magically guarantee they win in a poker game, why on earth would they need to ask for HYIP investors’ money in order to play? I know if I could do that I’d have retired years ago. I’m also kinda curious about what happens when one of these gambles who can’t be beaten comes up against another one who also can’t be beaten, lol! But let’s leave that for another day! For now I’ll just say as always to treat GoldenGambit like any other online HYIP, and in that sense it is true that it’s all about gambling except that the risk is 100% on your shoulders, not the admins. That means you need to establish a clear and modest spending limit that you will not exceed under any circumstances and that you can comfortably afford to lose. Plus if joining GoldenGambit at all then it’s best to do so as part of a wider more diverse portfolio.

DAILY NEWS FROM THE INDUSTRY

FELMINAALLIANCE – NO INTEREST CREDITED YESTERDAY

If you noticed that no profits were credited to your FelminaAlliance account for Monday on the either of their two plans – 0.8%-1.4% for 90 business days and 1%-1.6% for 180 business days with the principal return on expiry – there is no need to concern. Yesterday they just celebrated another official holiday in Panama which along with the US are two countries the banking holidays of which they observe. And since FelminaAlliance pays on business days only then Monday was a day off. Here’s the info on that from the latest newsletter from FelminaAlliance (reviewed here):

PROFITABLESUNRISE – NEW 100% COMPOUNDING PLAN

Please note that recently I was informed by some of readers of a new compounding plan launched by ProfitableSunrise. Starting from November the 1st you can join the new 2.7% for 240 business days on full 100% compounding plan which will only be available till March 2013. I would NOT recommend joining this at all because although ProfitableSunrise is one of the most popular programs on MNO now taking #2 spot on my Premium list and running for about a year, I still believe putting money there would be a big mistake. There is no way the admin would be able to pay you such high interest in eleven months time (that is 240 business days!) and the thing that you can’t withdraw anything for almost a year makes this plan totally useless for anyone. I’m not sure if you could see ProfitableSunrise up and running after eleven more months. However, I am really satisfied that the admin is kinda proactive on this front and that he’s trying to collect more money from unsuspecting members who don’t know how the industry works and hopefully use this money to pay off on the original investment plans paying 1.6%-2% for 180 business days with the original principal returned on expiry as analyzed in my review of the program published here. I hope that ProfitableSunrise continue the old via SolidTrustPay, EgoPay, LibertyReserve, or PerfectMoney of course, but please stay away from the new plan which is now available for a minimum price tag of a staggering $500. A new set of rules was established for the new Long Haul investment plan and published on the website by the admin Roman (interviewed here). Here they are, just for your information:

“Long Haul Plan.
– Long Haul is one of the investment plans available at ProfitableSunrise.
– 240 business days from the date of the first deposit is the duration of the Long Haul investment plan.
– In the Long Haul the compounding is set at 100% and cannot be disabled during the whole investment term.

– The Long Haul can only be started from November 1, 2012 till March 1, 2013.
– The minimum deposit in the Long Haul is $500.00

LLLTD – SOLIDTRUSTPAY WITHDRAWALS DELAY

I have no idea what prevents LLLtd from processing withdrawal requests to STP as it seems all other programs have no problem doing so, however according to the admin he had a technical issue sending automated payouts which he hopes is fixed soon. Anyway, I can confirm that I was paid by LLLtd to all other payment processors except STP, and I hope which I hope the admin can solve as promised. Here is the latest from him:

LLLtd was launched two weeks ago and during this time has been paying fine to a plan of 6.75%-7.5% for 20 days. They accept SolidTrustPay, LibertyReserve, and PerfectMoney deposits starting from $10 and you can read my full review of them here.

CARBONDEALS – EXPLANATION FOR PENDING WITHDRAWALS

CarbonDeals (reviewed here) is delaying payouts as well but this time it concerns the withdrawals to all the payment processors – LibertyReserve, PerfectMoney, EgoPay, and SolidTrustPay. After 24 days online the program already established itself as paying pretty fast and it never took me the full 24 hours requested for any of the following investment plans – 108% after 1 week, 10% for 2 weeks + principal back, 5.2% for 28 days, 4.2% for 42 days, 3.8% for 56 days, or 3.6% for 70 days. I guess it’s good that the admin Peter issued a newsletter explaining the delays which will alleviate some concerns that investors might hold. However we should remember that we can’t know for sure if these technical difficulties are true and if CarbonDeals is going to resume payouts soon enough. Anyway, we will see tomorrow if the payouts are back to normal which will decide the status of CarbonDeals on MNO. I am going to watch the situation closely and report on my blog if and when payouts resume:

GANGNAMINV ON WAITING STATUS, FRMOEG ON PROBLEM STATUS

Unfortunately the GangnamInv website was an apparent victim of malicious DDoS attacks on their servers by extortionists and till now it appears their current hosting provider cannot do anything to mitigate it. I believe that if nothing is done within the next couple of days GangnamInv will have no chance for survival. Of course it helps that the program is quite new and therefore didn’t collect much money, however the momentum might be lost pretty soon and I don’t believe the admin is going to be respected by his members if he cannot do anything about the attacks with his current hosting or just switch his program to a new more reliable one. At least he replied to me yesterday, so I will wait for a couple of more days and see what happens before moving GangnamInv to Problem status on MNO. They paid fine while still online but been moved to Waiting status due to the inaccessibility of its website as explained in the following email to me:

“Hello, we are under a huge DDoS attack, that guy asked for $250, we refused. We have contacted our DDoS provider, and they said they will try their best to resolve this problem asap. Thanks”.

As I expected Frmoeg become a fast scam as the admin apparently had the malicious intention of it being so in the first place. I remind you that the program was praised (mostly by himself) as allegedly being run by an honest admin, a title the admin presented to himself of course but didn’t actually earn. To tell you the truth, there is absolutely no such thing in the HYIP industry. You see, while the admin of Frmoeg (who was also the former admin of IntraFunds) issued refunds for his old venture, I doubt very much he’ll do the same for Frmoeg. Generally speaking refunds in the HYIP industry are made in order to create the illusion of trust, and once done the admin hits you with an even bigger scam. Thankfully he failed as he wasn’t particularly intelligent, though I know that’s not much comfort to anyone who was caught out. The only intention of the newly launched program was to collect some fast cash from the former members of IntraFunds who swallowed the bait and fell into the “honesty” trap carefully crafted by the admin. Anyway, those who fell victim of this fast scam will hopefully learn their lesson and next time will see the double meanings and suspect the real agenda of an admin refunding money to anyone in round one and then launching a round two or a totally different program. Please note that any further investments in Frmoeg are not recommended as the program is only paying to STP at the moment while ignoring the payment requests to other payment processors (obviously, the admin fears that his STP account will be suspended if he stops the payments there). Frmoeg is on Problem status on MNO and will be removed to Scam shortly!

INTRODUCTION OF NEOFUNDS

Today one more program joined the Premium list on MNO – NeoFunds. The program has just launched today and is offering a simple investment plan paying you (depending on your investment amount) from 8% to 9% daily for the duration of 15 calendar days with no principal back on expiry. So you should expect your total profit from 20% to 35% at the end of your investment term with NeoFunds. They accept four payment processors – LibertyReserve, PerfectMoney, PexPay, and SolidTrustPay – and the minimum to invest starts from $10. Please note that in order to invest in the chosen plan you first have to fund your account in NeoFunds from the payment processor of your choice. It’s one of the peculiarities of the Gotenks script which NeoFunds runs off. The program has some kind of template design which I saw in other programs already, the site is SSL-secured, and is hosted on a dedicated server with BlackLotus protection. Hopefully NeoFunds will prove to be a decent program and I’ll see how it develops with the full review of the program scheduled to be published on MNO tomorrow. Here’s the first short message from the website all new members are greeted with:
