Hi everyone, hope you all had a great Christmas and Santa was good to you this year! Next up is the New Year celebrations so I hope you’re still in the party mood. I know a lot of you will still be on holidays but back to work as usual for a lot of folks after yesterday, and I was surprised at how much news there is to get through in this evening’s update, ie more than I was expecting, which was nothing. Apart from the regular news stories I also have the results of the last MNO reader’s survey which gave some very pleasing results I can tell you (more on that in a few moments) and also a brand new program just added to the Premium Listing on my monitor. USDTRADING – IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON ACCOUNTS RESTORATION

Some bad news on Christmas day was sent by the admin of UsdTrading (reviewed here). The program was monitored on MNO for barely a week when a hacking incident resulted in the disappearance of the entire database. To my astonishment, the admin reacted very quickly and issued a first newsletter just hours after the incident took place, offering refunds to any members who request them. So if that’s what you want please contact the admin with proof of your deposit in UsdTrading before the hacking occurred as suggested. If you wish to stay with the program, please keep reading and I will discuss the detailed instructions given by the admin in the second newsletter:

The second update mentioned the failed attempt to restore the database due to not having a saved version while also offering a solution to the active members of UsdTrading who already had deposits via SolidTrustPay, EgoPay, LibertyReserve, or PerfectMoney in the 7%-9% per business day for 30 days plan. First you will need to register a new account in UsdTrading and then contact the admin and provide all the required info regarding your original deposit made before the hacking incident occurred. Then you just need to patiently wait for a 24 hour maximum while your deposit is added manually. You then start earning a profit in UsdTrading once again. If you don’t like the sound of that, the admin promised to issue refunds to anyone wishing to leave.

I believe though that the admin should be given another chance as he realized the mistake and reacted quickly. And the fact that he’s offering a refund, well, you can’t be fairer than that. I can confirm that I was given another deposit already yesterday and was successfully paid the first interest payout today. Hopefully, this serious approach to his responsibilities as a HYIP admin will help him get through and will only benefit UsdTrading in the long run. Here’s the latest newsletter from them, so please follow the instructions on account restoration carefully, especially if you’re an active investor and wondering why you can’t login for a couple of days:

STALLIONGOLD – CONGRATULATIONS FROM THE ADMIN

Two bright winter holidays Christmas and New Year were mentioned by the admin of StallionGold Edward (interviewed here) in the short letter posted on the website. All members of StallionGold that has been paying 1.5%-4% for 100 business days with principal returned on expiry for about four months now were wished a prosperous New Year ahead. I hope that those who invested at least the $1 minimum via EgoPay, PexPay, PerfectMoney, or LibertyReserve will see a good profit in the new year and that StallionGold (reviewed here) will contribute to this prosperity. MNO READERS POLL RESULTS AND NEW QUESTIONS ADDED

I’d like to look at the recent reader’s polls now from the MNO TalkBack page. If you’ve been following it you might know that over the last couple of weeks of been running a couple of opinion polls/surveys, partially just for everyone’s amusement but partially for information as well. There’s always two of them running at the same time, one related to the HYIP industry and the other about something else. If you haven’t seen the TalkBack page by the way (click here to see it) it combines the main shoutbox which is a members only service you need to sign in to if you want to post with a second chat box which is free to use for the discussion of anything not on MNO. But anyway, I must say the results of the latest polls threw up some really eye-opening results (in relation to the HYIP industry at least).

The first question on a more personal level asked MNO readers “where in the world do you come from?“, though I have to be honest and say this didn’t really surprise me personally. As the owner of MNO I had a general idea of where my own traffic is coming from, plus judging from the e-mails I get from readers the results were kinda what I expected anyway. But for the benefit of the readers themselves (that’s you!) the biggest single group of you come from Europe. 37% of you in fact. That’s closely followed by readers from North America, who contribute 35% of MNO readers. That’s almost three quarters of you between the two groups alone, which I suppose is only natural as MNO is run entirely through English and will appeal more to an audience that is either native or highly fluent in the language. Next in the list trailing but with a significant minority is Asian readers, who account for 22% of MNO readers. There was very little to separate the remaining readers, with 4% from Africa and 2% each from Australia and South America making up the numbers.

The real surprise (and a pleasant one, I must say!) came from the question “what profit did you get from HYIPs on your investment for 2012?”. This related to your activities over the entire calendar year now, and not just with one or two recent successes/failures. I suppose I shouldn’t be all that surprised as I know the majority of regular MNO readers are a bit more savvy and experienced, but at the end of the day we are talking about an extreme high risk activity here, and one that is essentially a form of gambling. Therefore I was really pleased to note that the overwhelming majority of you managed to gain something out of the year and come out on top. Obviously some of you made more than others, and granted the most unpleasant aspect of online HYIPs is that the profits of one person are invariably financed by the losses of another, but the fact that almost two thirds of MNO readers managed to get something back from this business is very encouraging and I should also point out probably way way higher than the industry average. I’ll give you a breakdown of the numbers now, but congratulations to everyone who came out on top, and I sincerely hope that my blog and monitor, not to mention the sometimes lively discussions between readers that happen on my shoutbox, made some contribution to helping you achieve this. Because I really don’t believe that these figures are representative of the industry as a whole, and I can tell you there’s no way I believe any other monitor or news resource will have such a massive success rate.

So to give you the numbers, first of all 35% fall into the category of those who lost money for the year overall. I can only say sorry and express my sympathies with you if you’re in that group, but you know I do have to remind you this is a business for adults only, and as such will accept the risks that they bring on themselves by participating, something that none of you are actually forced into doing. So I hope you remembered never to gamble with more than you could afford to lose, and wish you the very best of luck for 2013 in recouping those losses (assuming you’re going to continue playing the industry that is). The remaining 65% of you all manged to come through the year with a positive return on your investments, and the single biggest group of you – 35% in total – actually doubling your money or better. Again, sorry to repeat myself here but given the nature of the HYIP industry and the extreme risk I have to say that’s a simply staggering success rate. Others saw a more modest return, but then again any profit at all is considered a good result. Such as the next biggest group for example, which is the 11% of readers who estimated their profits to be something between 51% and 99%. That’s followed by two groups making up 7% each, those readers who saw a profit of between 21% to 50%, and the other 7% who say the just about broke even but didn’t lose anything. And then the remaining 5% of MNO readers say the made a smaller profit of probably less than 20%.

Thanks again to everyone who took the time and trouble to think about the questions and vote, and I hope you found the results interesting. I’m going to continue the polls with two new questions this week which I also hope you won’t mind sharing your thoughts on. First of all relating to the HYIP industry, I’m asking “what’s your favorite term program?”.
The options are a) Short Term, ie a cycle of 15 days or less, b) Medium Term, with a cycle of 15 to 45 days, c) Long Term, with a cycle longer than 45 days, and d) I don’t really have a preference for one over the other.

The second question is more personal in nature. As we enter the final days of 2012, a lot of people make “resolutions” around the time of the New Year celebrations, promises to themselves to improve their lives and their surroundings in some way over the coming 12 months. OK, not everyone succeeds exactly, but identifying a problem and working towards fixing it is in itself a positive step and a success in its own right. So what would you like to change for 2013? And remember it’s anonymous so don’t be afraid to tell the truth here, otherwise it’s pointless even thinking about it.
So the choices are a) Work on the general state of my health and fitness, b) Work on improving my career or education, c) Improve the state of my finances d) Work on relationships or family life, or e) I’m satisfied with my life and will simply continue living it as usual.
