26/03/2010. Interview with the admin of UnblockExchange

Hi everyone! For the first update today (the news will be published later) I am pleased to have something a little different for you. It’s an interview yes, and I know we’ve had thousands of those, but today it’s with the admin of an online e-currency exchange provider. The service is called UnblockExchange and it’s quite a competitive website. I do hope you find it interesting because remember that if you want to earn money online it’s always more beneficial to you if you keep yourself informed about how different aspects of the industry work.

The admin’s name is Mircea and he comes from Iasi in north eastern Romania (for the benefit of non-European readers that’s pronounced “yash”). Mircea might be known to a few of you already though. Prior to UnblockExchange he was a former admin of a couple of autosurf sites, one of the very few I might add to ever get out of the business and keep some kind of decent reputation still in tact. Anyway, in case you’re wondering why we need another exchanger or what’s so different about this one, there are a couple of features to UnblockExchange one doesn’t normally associate with sites like that. But let’s let Mircea explain all of that himself.

“1. Hi, Mircea. Please introduce yourself to the readers of Money-News-Online and tell us a bit about your background in the online investment industry.

My name is Mircea Ianciac and live in Iasi, Romania. I’m not so long in this online investment industry, only for about five years. I started by trying to make money online with Autosurfs, HYIPs, Doublers, Cyclers, etc., as an investor. Then I tried myself to administrate two Autosurfs and a HYIP but my attempts were truly a “fiasco”. I did not have any real offline business to back them up, despite my good intentions and dedication. I have been asked since 2007 by many friends around the world to help them open an exchanger. And so the idea came to me in the spring-summer 2009 to go ahead and do it based on a company founded here in Romania, in accordance with the laws of Romania and the EU was brought to life.

2. So tell us about your own site? What exactly is UnblockExchange and of what kind of services are you offering investors? Also could you tell us about what kind of technical experience or qualifications you have that enable you to run UnblockExchange?

UnblockExchange is a specialized website that provides the service of interexchange between e-currency systems and also the buying and selling of e-currencies via a bank wire system. After I was in this industry for about five years and have run a few sites I can say with confidence that I’ve gained enough experience to ensure the necessary qualifications to lead an e-currency exchange site.

3. Most of the existing payment processors already publish a list of approved exchange service providers and to be blunt there hardly seems to be any shortage of them. So why do we need one more? What are you going to bring to the business that we can’t get from so many other exchangers?

There are often moments when other exchangers do not have enough funds in one payment system or another, so I say there is always room for one more. On the other hand, with a legal firm established in Romania, we are able to provide our Romanian customers off-line exchanges either instant (if the customer has an account as the same bank as us) or within 24 hours (in any other bank from Romania). For international customers we can do exchanges within 48 hours (after obtaining approval from payment processors that require it).

4. What payment processors are you currently handling? What are the fees you charge for transfers between each and how long after I request an exchange can I expect it to be completed? Do you currently have minimum and maximum levels that you accept for exchange?

For the time being we offer exchanges between four of the most popular electronic payment systems: Solid Trust Pay (STP), Liberty Reserve (LR), Strict Pay (SP) and Perfect Money (PM). We complete all applications within few hours of the request (or after we receive approval from payment processors that require it). The minimum exchange is the minimum required by the various payment processors, so they determine that. The maximum exchange can be determined by whoever is looking at the site on the left side of the page (the e-currency reserve).

5. I can also see that one can buy and sell e-currency using UnblockExchange. Please tell us about the whole procedure how to do this and what options you offer to your customers.

The procedure is simple. If they want to sell e-currency to us or to buy e-currency they must contact us first. In both cases we will guide the clients through the whole process of payment, providing detailed information about fees, bank wire details, processing time and so on.

6. What is the purpose of registering on your site? Why can’t it possible to process exchanges without such a registration?

It’s in the best interests of the clients to register because by doing that they are the first to be informed when we have enough funds for their exchange requests. Also by doing this they can benefit from the affiliate programs we have.

7. Why don’t you handle AlertPay? Why in your opinion do you think they are so resistant to online exchangers? Especially as they operate from the same legal jurisdiction and subject to the same laws as SolidTrustPay who don’t seem to have any problems with it.

We already have a Verified Business account with AP but still need some time to decide if it’s worth adding to our site because we’ve heard too many bad stories regarding them. However at the customers request we may consider adding it later.

8. I see on your website you made the statement “this company is licensed”. Licensed by who, and licensed to do what? I saw an incorporation certificate, but not a license.

In Romania if you have a legal established company, there is no need for any other licenses or approvals. Being legally registered as a company in Romania (which is in the EU) is enough for clients to be certain that we do not participate in any illegal acts. 9. Does UnblockExchange have some any kind of official approval from any of the payment processors? Are they even aware of your existence?

We are legally approved by all payment processors we have on site and as far as we know our site is on their list of approved exchangers (if not then we will be soon).

10. Tell us in as much detail as possible about the security of the site. How safe are the transactions? Where is the UnblockExchange site hosted? Is it safe from possible hacking attempts?

Our site is hosted on BlackLotus which is known to provide anti-DDoS protection. Also planned is the addition of SSL protection in near future. Although the script can provide instant exchanges, we will only do them manual for more safety. All bugs in this script have been removed by our offline programmers. The whole database is updated every 5 minutes and we will do everything humanly possible to provide protection to our clients.

11. What kind of customer support do you have for your clients? What is the best way to contact you if any problems arise or if I don’t fully understand something about how it all works?

We have a support area on the site and also we can be found almost 24/7 online via YM (Bmircali- me or my cousin Geo).

12. How are you going to be promoting your program? Do you have some advertising budget or will you be relying more on word of mouth?

We’ve already been covered on EMF, MFC and MNO with ad banners, email campaigns, sticky topics, and of course this interview. We plan to expand advertising on other sites in the future that will help ensure our success. Of course word of mouth is important also, so therefore we offer the referral program.

13. Do you have a referral program for existing members and if yes how does it work? Can you offer any discounts for exchanges for those joining UnblockExchange under Money-News-Online’s link?

Yes, we offer at the moment (promo) 10% referral commission for any customer who registers on the site and sends other clients to us for exchange.

14. And finally tell us about any future plans to expand and improve the exchanger and the quality of the services provided.

We plan to add SSL encryption on the site very soon and other security features for the safety of our customers. Of course any suggestions from customers will be more than welcome.”
