With the HYIP industry being so slow this October and considering this month would usually be so full of activity from both HYIP admins and investors alike it’s almost impossible to believe October was once the most fruitful month for investors, but in the 2020 Covid ravaged industry there seems to be a set of totally different rules. Rather than being too negative about the HYIP industry right now we should concentrate on the positives which see less programs and less activity overall compensated by such well run long-term programs like GlobalCryptox (reviewed here) and QubitTech (reviewed here) which can be found on the MNO monitor. Plus we can anticipate an upcoming industry revival fuelled by the ongoing surge of cryptocurrency value with BTC hitting almost $13,500 – the highest of the year so far. I doubt there is a limit to that growth as people start switching their savings to BTC following plummeting bank rates which are now little more than zero in some areas giving next to no motivation for people to save. BitCoin on the other hand is quickly gaining momentum and popularity which can be further boosted next year by the delayed effect of this year’s halving event – the same as happened in 2017. So, overall HYIP investors are right to be cautiously optimistic. MNO TALKBACK – RESULTS DRAWN AND NEW QUESTION POSTED

As always, almost anyway, the final item up for discussion on today’s news update is the result of the last MNO TalkBack page’s opinion poll and the posting of another new question. Getting straight to the point then, there’s not really a great deal of choice around the HYIP industry at the moment but a lot of what could be deemed the more quality programs out there seem to be longer term. Trends come and go, I know, short term HYIPs will have their day in the sun so to speak again at some point, but for now it’s long term programs that dominate. I asked how readers feel about this. Personally speaking as a monitor I don’t really have a preference, I mean I’d be looking at a bigger picture in that sense anyway and would see the benefits of everything without having personal expectations. But I also know that isn’t necessarily how investors see things. A lot of people are in the HYIP industry because they are in financial need of a fast profit for their own reasons so needed to wait three or four months to break even simply isn’t an option for them. Then on the other hand there are some people who perhaps don’t have any particular urgent need of a fast overnight buck but like a steadier more constant income stream from the HYIP industry from one month to another. My exact question to readers then was as follows: Do you invest in long-term programs that take months to break even?

For the most part readers seem to have no real problem with the concept, a big majority of you voted “Yes, if the program looks really good”. This constituted some 73% of the votes, so it’s fair to say that most MNO readers take a longer term view and have no objection to their money getting tied up for a couple of months as long as they can see good results in the end. Now, like I said when I first posted the question, there isn’t any right and wrong answers. I just wondered what readers feel best suited their needs at this point in the industry any what they are looking to get from it in the here and now. With that in mind, 18% of you voted towards the other extreme and said “Never, under no circumstances”. As always, when it comes to other people’s money I would never presume to tell you this is either a right or wrong choice, it’s just whatever happens to be best for you on the day. The remaining 9% of you took the less extreme view but still voted more or less against the idea by saying “In exceptional cases only to diversify”.

It’s always interesting to see where investors stand on different issues at different times. I have no doubt that if I asked the same question at the same day next year I would get a completely different result, but then that’s what makes the online HYIP industry so interesting – to quote a famous radio DJ speaking about his favourite music performer “always the same, always different”.

Moving on now to a different topic, there’s been a lot of discussion in recent weeks about where exactly is the best place to make money online. We all like doing it, let’s be honest it’s the reason most of you even read this blog, but how to actually achieve this is mostly your ultimate goal. One way is the buying and selling of BitCoin. The dramatic rise and fall in the hard currency value of it is, to me anyway, just jaw dropping. With a relatively small input you can either make or lose a month’s salary in a day. Not something that interests me personally anymore, but people will always like to try their luck at pretty much anything. So, my question for readers in the next MNO TalkBack poll is this:

With the current BitCoin price surge what is the most profitable investment now?

You can select your answers from the following options, remembering that there isn’t any exact right or wrong reply and also that you can just pick the one that comes closest to your own opinion:

– Invest in HYIPs only as they are more stable due to the growth of BitCoin
– Forget about HYIPs and keep it in cryptocurrencies for the value to grow
– A mixed portfolio partly in HYIPs, and partly hold funds in BitCoin
