10/12/2014. HashCoin Review and Daily News from the HYIP Industry

0

Beware! HashCoin has stopped paying! Do not invest there!

Hi all! It was a slow enough news day in the HYIP industry, considering it’s mid week already and normally full of activity around now. A reminder then as if any were necessary that we’re almost at the mid point of December and the holiday season is almost upon us again. Quiet then, but not asleep as I still have one minor news item to get through for you this evening, plus the result of the last opinion poll from the MNO TalkBack page and the first in a series of questions looking back on the past year. I want to start however with a closer look at another of the recent crop of long term HYIPs joining the MNO monitor. It’s called HashCoin, and on opening for business a couple of days ago joined the Standard List.

There’s only one plan to choose from in HashCoin, and the same terms and conditions apply to all investors no matter how much or how little you spend. That’s subject to the program’s minimum and maximum investment limits of course, which state that you’ll need at least $25 to join. If that’s OK then remember that you can only join in “blocks” of $25, i.e. you can only invest $25, $50, $75, $100, and so on like that. This continues in multiples of $25 all the way up to $25,000 which is HashCoin‘s maximum limit on investments. This, for want of a better word, “restriction” is something I don’t quite understand. I mean it’s not a prerequisite of the script, and there’s only one plan to choose from, so I don’t see a logical (and certainly not a beneficial) reason for $25 multiples as opposed to let’s say $1 multiples that most programs employ.

Anyway, just be aware of it, because it throws up a separate, relatively minor, problem which is an unwelcome inconvenience. HashCoin‘s script you see, which is under license from ShadowScript, requires members first to fund their e-wallet. After that you will then need to re-direct your money from your wallet to your chosen investment plan. It doesn’t matter that there’s only one plan, that’s still the way the script works. Now, here’s the problem. You can only have an active investment in multiples of $25, but you can deposit anything you like in your wallet. So let’s say you deposit $45 in your HashCoin wallet. You can only move $25 of that into an active investment, so your kinda stuck with the other $20 sitting there doing nothing. Don’t worry, the money isn’t lost or anything, and it’s a straight-forward matter of withdrawing it again. It’s just that you have the inconvenience of having to do it, and the money you waste on fees moving money from A to B and back again for no good reason. My point here being just be aware of the rules and try and make things easier for yourself.

As long as all that’s clear then let’s look at the numbers. HashCoin‘s plan runs for a fixed term of 120 calendar days, or around four months. During that time members will get a daily interest payment, also made on calendar days. The actual rate you receive is not fixed, and will vary from one day to the next. It could, though (probably) rarely will, be as high as a maximum 1.5%. HashCoin have no stated minimum payment as such, I mean theoretically it could even be 0% because there’s nothing on the website that I can see explicitly saying otherwise, but I doubt that’s seriously going to be the case either. Not unless the program collapses that is. As with any online HYIP offering variable payments then it becomes simply impossible to predict exactly how much you might earn or when you might at least be able to break even on your investment. There is a record of previous payments you can check on a little calendar on the HashCoin website, with the rate of the day paid since the program started. Take this with a pinch of salt however, as the “payment record” stretches all the way back to August even though the program only started this week.

So yes, you can check out the most recent payments, just don’t bother going too far back. So far then the idea seems to be for the rate to hover around the 0.8% to 1% mark on business days (Monday to Friday), and then dropping back significantly to around 0.3% over the weekend. If we take that as an accurate prediction of where the future direction of HashCoin is leading us then, a typical month in the program would bring in around 20% profit. If you achieve that consistently then you would expect a total profit by the end of the term at around 80%, however this will only be the case when the HashCoin admin returns your principal on expiry of the term.

Of course I have to admit that 80% is only an approximate estimate based on the limited figures I can access at this time. It might actually be a lot more, then again it might be less. Exact figures are literally down to “the luck of the draw” depending on what day of the week you join, though in my own opinion I would have to say there’s a serious chance that you may end up waiting the entire 120 day duration before breaking even and seeing a profit only on HashCoin‘s return of your principal. From experience in the industry I myself have always been a big believer in sustainability for interest rates (how could anyone not be?), and I also genuinely believe that long term low ROI programs will dominate the HYIP industry for at least a significant part of next year. What HashCoin are offering though will surely test the patience, nerve, and resolve of even the most dedicated players. And if a large number of investors choose to just keep an eye on the program while waiting to see if others get their principals back as promised before joining, then it could be a very long journey for some.

So, if you think that might be worth taking the gamble on, then you’ll need to know what your payment options are. The four most popular, or at least most widespread, methods are all included, namely PerfectMoney, EgoPay, and Payeer for the regular more traditional style payment processors, and BitCoin for anyone favoring the more modern digital e-currencies. To make a withdrawal from HashCoin you are going to have to log into your account and request one to be made manually by the program’s admin. Once you’ve managed to do this, you now need to sit back and wait anything up to an extra 24 hours for all transactions to be completed. Smaller investors please take note that HashCoin have a minimum withdrawal requirement in place. Unless you’re requesting $2 or more, anything less will be rejected and left in your account until you have enough to clear the full amount. This is anything but friendly to smaller investors, in many ways the very core of the HYIP industry, when you sit down and start crunching the numbers. Just think for a moment, if you have just the minimum $25 deposit, and are getting paid at the interest rates I’ve described above, how often do you think you’ll be able to make a withdrawal? It could take a week to ten days before you accumulate a $2 minimum, so again, smaller investors need to think carefully before committing their money here.

While I might have some mixed feelings about the organization of HashCoin and its investment plan, the more technical design and security aspects of the program at least look solid enough. They’re hosted on a dedicated server with the support and protection from DDoS attacks provided by CloudFlare who’ve been nothing but a dependable name since as far back as I can remember hearing about them first, and the website is powered off a script under license from ShadowScript. This has been modified slightly so HashCoin does have a different appearance from most of the other programs that use it, but it’s definitely ShadowScript which is another service provider up to quite a high standard. The HashCoin website also displays a valid SSL encryption certificate from GlobalSign, allowing safer browsing and more secure transactions.

If you still have any unanswered questions that you felt weren’t really explained in this review, any account related issues that you need to have dealt with, or pretty much any reason to contact the admin then HashCoin can be reached in a number of ways. Mainly I suppose through the online customer support e-mail form where you just fill out your details and submit via the contacts page. For Live Chat and telephone support HashCoin list both a Skype account and a telephone number. There’s no additional information about what, if any, working hours are kept on either, but feel free to try them anyway if you think someone might actually respond. Alternatively you might just prefer to write directly to the HashCoin admin yourself, something you can do by using the e-mail address listed on the contacts page. A postal address is listed (in Hong Kong this time), something regular readers and experienced investors will know to dismiss as unlikely to be any more than a virtual hosted office at best, i.e. the address itself may well be genuine and used for mailing purposes, but that doesn’t mean you’re going to find anyone connected with running the program physically located there.

Final word on the project then is that provided they see gradual growth and the admin is patient enough to wait for it, there’s a chance of popularity eventually at some point down the road. Just in case anyone is interested in any alleged business activities that are supposed to be supporting the payouts to members, some of you may have guessed from the name that HashCoin claim to be involved with BitCoin mining. There’s not a great deal of evidence to back any of this up, save a couple of nondescript photos of a random electronics warehouse somewhere and a hand held video with no commentary of the same. I don’t know what that’s intended to prove, and I suggest you take the same approach. Don’t treat HashCoin like anything other than an online HYIP, which means setting a sensible spending limit you can afford to lose, keeping your ideas of what the program can deliver realistic and without the expectation of guarantees, and if joining HashCoin at all then try to keep them as a smaller part of a wider more diverse portfolio.

DAILY NEWS FROM THE HYIP INDUSTRY

BTPERFEX – MNO REVIEW ANNOUNCED AND MINOR SCRIPT ISSUES RESOLVED

BTPerfex is actually the only program to send any updates for the last 24 hours. And the first update was to announce the most detailed review posted on the MNO blog last night which the admin liked so much he immediately asked for an interview which I’ll be sending him later tonight. And I’ll be sure to include any questions on subjects I may have been skeptical about in the review which you can read here. This is the news posted on the website and containing the link to the MNO review of BTPerfex:

Our Review Has Been Published On MNO…
Hello Friends, Today I am proudly announce our second review done by MNO (money-news-online.com) please have a look. You can find the full review published here: http://money-news-online.com/blog/2014/12/09/09122014-btperfex-review-daily-news-hyip-industry/
“.

For those if you who didn’t yet see the review I’ll just highlight some of the basics. By joining BTPerfex with at least a $50 investment minimum (currently accepted only via PerfectMoney and BitCoin, though that can easily change) you have an opportunity to earn from 1.25% to 2% fixed daily return for a duration of 180 calendar days and your initial principal already included. As BTPerfex is running off quite a rare script the admin had some issues with the settings last night, teething problems if you like, but pledged to fix everything by today. True to his word, he notified the members of this in the latest short update. So from now on everyone in BTPerfex can withdraw multiple times within any 24 hour period of time without restriction:

Cashout Issue has been Fully resolved
Hello Members, The cashout request issue that many of our Investors facing while making request has been fully resolved now. Now you can request cashout multiple times per day. Thank you

MNO TALKBACK – POLL RESULT AND NEW POLL ADDED

A sincere thank you to all the MNO readers who regularly help me research the industry in more depth and analyze the latest trends and prospects by voting in the MNO TalkBack polls. The latest question was entirely dedicated to one promising program and asked – Are you going to join AtrexTrade? As expected, dozens of readers expressed strong interest in the program, first reviewed here. In the opinion of many experienced investors it looks destined to repeat the success of some similar programs that lasted for a year or two. AtrexTrade is surely something unique in the HYIP industry, most likely run by a very experienced admin who knows what he’s doing. Results show 39% of readers see the full potential of AtrexTrade and have either joined or are about to join soon. Another 15% are still sitting on the fence while watching the program’s development and growth but are not ruling out the possibility of joining sometime in 2015. 46% of voters however say AtrexTrade appeals less to them, in which case I think we’re talking about fans of mostly short to medium term programs that don’t like to wait for their profits for too long. Well, with AtrexTrade that’s the price you must be prepared to pay in order to participate in some potential hit of the next year.

The question on the future of AtrexTrade is not so much whether it’s going to still be here in 2015, but rather whether or not it could potentially be the biggest program for the entire year. It’s entirely possible, of course, given the admin’s level of determination and experience. However, looking back at 2014 in retrospect – what program do you think was the most successful this year? I believe that it will be very interesting to hear readers thoughts on what were the best programs listed on MNO during the last 12 months. What do you consider the most successful not only regarding your profits but possibly on a much larger scale. I know, there were quite a few successful programs over the last year, but I will ask you choose from five which, I believe, were the largest. So the question is this – what do you think was the best program of 2014? You have five possible answers which are – RockwellPartners, DublinCryptoriumLimited, RemiTrade, 2FXLtd, or FinMutual. As you can see all of those options are defunct now, but they undoubtedly left their own indelible mark the HYIP industry. So, let’s hear what you think and please vote for the best success of the year, only on the MNO TalkBack page. Thanks in advance for your time and I’ll probably analyze the final results in a week or so.
